Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Week one of flower 325 ppm 6.0 pH 65 F water temp. 71 F tent temp. 41 % RH Things are looking good. The girls are looking nice and healthy. The small one isn’t gonna catch up though lol. Oh well we will see what happens now.

Just trying to maintain a balance now until they stop drinking so much. #1 looking to be a foxtail style plant where as #2 is looking much more leafy so definitely 2 different phenos here. Starting to get a distinct orange/citrus smell from them :)

Last day of the fifth week, and these plants are getting an LST treatment on the main stem, under the split. The Ph is looking better, but there are some leaves that are malformed. Probably got too dry?

Oh girl oh girl, these ladies are having a good time. Switched the light schedule to 12/12 on 13 nov (21 days after germination) Steady growth on all plants still. I haven't switched the LED lights to flowering mode yet because there's no sign of flowering growth yet. By doing this the plants will stay nice and compact. Last watering was on 15 nov (5 days ago). I will water again tomorrow. This is my second indoor grow ever (and my first serious attempt), and I refuse to make the same overwatering mistake again ;) I removed 2 big fan leaves on the top of every plant. My theory is that the soon to become colas will get a bit more light and reach to the canopy quicker, let's see what happens over the next week. One of the cons of using seeds for a sea-of-green is the possible difference in growth. Luckily not too much difference in height between them so far (please note I corrected their height differences last week by raising some of the plants. I noticed a glassy, weird look on some of the leaves in the far left corner of the grow tent. After contemplating I realized that my fan was aimed in their direction and the issue might be wind burn, so adjusted the direction (see first photo) I noticed slightly higher humidity, around 60%. I will keep close attention and take action to lower it if needed.

My little lady is going strong. Not as many colas as I hoped but still some nice tops and very sticky! I think she has about a week or two left. At the very top of the bigger colas the first trichomes start to turn amber but the rest of the plant still has mainly clear trichomes. Still hope for the buds to fatten up a bit and I’ll stay optimistic. So far so good ✌️🏼🍀

Sorprendido con el último transplante, la 10th consiguió una ramificación brutal, pasaron a 4/5 gal, espero unos días que se estiren y floro rápido antes que se pasen de área 😬

Week 8 is going great, started flush toward the end of week 7 on Zkittlez and OG Kush. Also started flushing Pink Kush CBD and Purple Punch at start of week 8. All are packing weight still and smelling very fragrant. Trichomes are starting to cloud out and I am planning on harvesting when trichomes are starting to amber.

Aquí fue el corte de la gelatto al final la planta más pequeña de todas pero bastante bien para lo que es un foco de Amazon, las demás se dejarán una semana más y se cortarán todas

From this point on, the plants of my two active diaries will be together in the grow with a 12x12 photo period. So I'll put the same photos in both diaries.

D67 removed ScrOG and repeated LST on left plant so lower buds will get more light. There is not enough space in tent to do the same with the right plant.
