🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 5 From Seed (12/12 Run) Hello everyone, welcome to another update, and a big thank you to everyone following along, newcomers, longtime readers, sponsors, platform, and of course the breeders and creators behind these genetics. It truly means a lot to share this journey together. For those just joining: this is a 12/12 from seed run, approached gently and observationally. No rush, no aggression, just letting the plants express themselves while we listen closely. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions • Temperature: 21°C • Relative Humidity: ~58% • Outside conditions: 4–5°C with 90–98% RH Given what’s happening outside, I’m actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. The plants seem to agree, posture, color, and overall vigor are excellent. • CO₂: ~666 ppm For now, this is perfectly fine. No need to push or supplement — steady and natural. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Top + Under Canopy) At the start of the week: • Only top lights are running • Power: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) As the plants stretch and rise above the under-canopy fixtures, we’re now introducing under-canopy lighting: • Lumiflora under-canopy lights • Starting at 30% power This is very intentional. The goal isn’t to blast the plants, but to teach them that light and photons will be arriving from more than one direction. We want a gentle adaptation — letting the plant reorganize how it uses light rather than forcing it. Power will be increased later, but right now it’s all about adjustment, not intensity. ⸻ 🌿 Training Approach (or lack of it) Because this is a 12/12 from seed run, we are being extremely conservative. • No topping • No hard training • No defoliation The only work being done: • Leaf tucking • Gentle leaf bending And the response has been incredible. These girls are reacting with: • Tight internodes • Bushy structure • Calm, confident growth Sometimes, truly, less touch = better performance. ⸻ 🌱 The Triple-Branching Lady (Main Focus of the Week) This week’s highlight is one very special plant showing clear triple branching. At each node, instead of the usual two shoots, she’s producing three distinct branches, stacking from the bottom all the way up. The structure almost looks like she’s tucking herself naturally, creating a dense but elegant framework. This is not something we forced. It’s purely genetic expression meeting the right conditions. She looks happy. She looks calm. And she looks like she’s planning something special. We’ll be doing a dedicated report on her by the end of the week, because this kind of morphology deserves proper documentation. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition Strategy Water Source We’re using a mix of: • Rainwater • Dehumidifier-collected water This water is extremely soft, so this week we introduced something new: ➕ CalMag Pro Not because the plants were asking — but thinking ahead. Before adding nutrition, we want a proper mineral foundation. This helps stabilize uptake and prevents issues before they even show up. Aside from that: • No changes to the main recipe • Everything remains steady and predictable ⸻ Two Systems, One Tent (Why Autopots + Hand Watering) We currently have two feeding approaches in the same tent: 🔹 Autopots (6 plants) • Mineral-only feeding • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.0 Organics and autopots generally don’t play well together. Organics are alive, they change over time, they ferment, pH drifts, and control becomes very difficult when solution sits for long periods. It’s not just about smell — it’s about stability. 🔹 Hand-Watered Plants (including the Skywalker OGs) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 With organics, hand watering gives: • Better control • Individual feeding per plant • The ability to respond to how each plant drinks and eats And honestly? I love this approach. Each plant gets treated as an individual, not a number. ⸻ 🌿 Overall Plant Health • Deep, lush green • Strong structure • Bushy growth everywhere • No signs of stress This run honestly feels too good to be true sometimes — but it’s real, and it’s exciting. ⸻ 🔍 Growth Stage & What to Expect Next Even though this is Week 5 from seed, the plants are still finishing what I’d call their last week of veg. By the end of this week, we’re starting to see: • Clear pre-flower signs • Early transition into flowering behavior This is a very important phase. The plant is deciding how it wants to flower — structure, spacing, and energy distribution are all being set right now. Hey everyone :-). Today we have flowering day 30 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. This week they continued to develop very well 😍. The two babies in front will probably stay in their small size, which is not a problem because the small tent is intended for such test purposes 😀. Nevertheless I will do Scrog again next time 👍🤪. The flowers have started to swell and the resin is starting to spread 😍. A new water heater was installed and the tent was cleaned. The water was changed every 12-15 days. Otherwise there is nothing to report this week. Beginning of week This week I have cut out the Grow nutriets.. I will now double up on the bloom nutrients and have also added a half dose of Kushie Kush bloom booster from Advanced Nutrients. I have always had good results with this bloom booster.. The smell of the nutes itself just smells like it would help make the buds more dank lol.. I dont know how else to explain that lol.. But yeah. Kinda regretting the aggressive defoliation and late LST (including 1 branch that was supercropped) now.. But I'm sure by next week she will be a gorgeous little bush again.. I just wanted the lower branches to get just as much light as the tops.. Still no trichome production.. Another plant that I have flowering only about 5 days ahead has alot of trichomes for such small little nugs.. Still happy with this girlie! End of week.. Some trichomes have now popped up! Not much but SOME.. She has been showing slight signs of nutrient burn.. I think its mostly because I use the second cup to hold the runoff so that she has plenty to drink while im at work. It helps to do a little flush and NOT let it build up in the runoff cup.. Sometimes the PPM of the runoff gets up to 2300 or even 2500 PPM.. Today it was 2800 PPM so I flushed it really good this morning and going to get another good watering (no nutes) before lights out so that she can have that to drink untill the AM.. PPM got down to 1800 after doing the flush thing.. I shpuld be able to make a new batch of nutes tomorrow.. Maybe I'll even back off of some.. I'll figure it out tomorrow... She is one happy and heathy girl, otherwise.. On to the next week!!!...

Fourth week the plants are growing very well, with very dense foliage. I performed the first defoliation and applied LST on G1 and G2 that were already with a larger structure to plan the size of the cannopie.

She’s a big one cannot wait to see what she put out. she got unhappy and lost most of the fan leaf but she still going.

Day 70 – Flower Week 1 (Flip on Day 67) This sister plant is showing the same scrog training and timing as the other, but with a slightly different personality. The canopy is a tight, lush mat of foliage, filling the net squarely from edge to edge. Multiple tops are pushing upward at a uniform height, and the first white pistils are starting to peek out—clear signs of early bloom. The leaves look strong and vibrant, a deep healthy green with minimal blemishes. Lower growth beneath the screen is shaded and beginning to fade slightly, which is expected as the plant channels energy toward the upper sites. Stretch after the flip is underway, but still controlled, helping to maintain the flat profile ideal for even light coverage.

She has the same extreme big leaves like the last phenotype of hers :-) I love it ;-). She will now stay in the vegi for a few more days before she comes to the flower tent :-). During the last watering, I started with Fast Plant. I am happy to finally be able to put it in bloom again. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (sewing materials, see table above). The tent was cleaned and all plants checked for health 👍. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters for the next 2 weeks. Otherwise they were admired several times a day 😂. week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

6/15 Everything was dry this morning but the bags STILL had some heft. Much lighter though so I decided to water. I didn't realize how cold the hose is so I'll have to usecthe water inside or premix it. I watered everything at least a half gallon. Things are going great. I'll update as I go. UPDATE: IM GLAD I WATERED. ITS 73° OUT AND NICE AND SUNNY. 6/16 Foggy morning has turned into a sunny day! Plants are doing amazing. So glad I watered. I took a shit ton of pictures but they don't seem to be uploading. VERY FRUSTRATING TO TAKE THE TIME TO TAKE PICS AND VIDEO ONLY TO HAVE IT NOT UPLOAD.

Still not happy, 1 out of 7 plants has a little smell, all others 0. Almost no frost, which is not a good sign. Still it's a huge trees with loads of buds, so have to wait another few weeks. Compare to all other GHS genetics I grow now this is definitely the weakest strain.
