This week the Gnome’s have been working on Defoliating and Topping of both of the plants. This is going to start the development process that will take them into adulthood. This will help the air to move through the plants more efficiently and start the “Martini Glass” shape that we all love, instead of the single cola look. Next week we will be “lollipoping” the plants to help air flow and to transfer energy to the canapé. The biggest thing to happen at the garden is that we are “Triggering Flowering” this week and watering has started to double in frequency.

Week 4 these babies went straight into 12/12 lighting, then a longer veg period hence the smaller size as im running an experiment on different lighting techniques with 12/12 start to now 16/8 veg/flower back then ill go down to 12/12 flower/flush just to see how the plants react and grow in size with a much smaller growing time frame of 8-10 weeks start to finish autoz

End of week 6, buds are tightening up nice! I'm not sure when to start flushing or time the harvest because all three plants seem to be maturing at different speeds. Still watering with full nutrients, PPM about 1000 ... Taken the nitrogen down and increased PK. Let me know what you guys think.

Its good to note that this specific strain finishes super early and I feel like itd be a super excellent choice for SOG style growing 4/18 shes not really drinking water anymore. Turned amber shockingly fast. Kinda happened unexpectedly! Swapped to water flushing this week to help my baby burn off the last of her nutrients. Plan to harvest in the next two weeks. Gonna let her guide me. Happy growing.

They grew and flowered very fast the one plant got very dense buds the other many small frosty ones

Hey now! This week went very well. I feel like she is finally done growing, and just starting to thicken up and ripen. I did switch from the liquid koolbloom to the dry, and within 48 hours or so I really started noticing the weight of the colas start leaning towards the floor. I did support the main colas last week, but this week I noticed several of the smaller unsupported colas started drooping to the floor, so i added a few support lines. I am thinking maybe she has two or three weeks left. I am not a big believer in an all out flush, as I do not wish to stress her out even near the end. Rather, I am gradually weaning her off the nutes over the next 2-3 weeks. She is starting to get brown tips on almost every leaf so not sure if this is just her being near the end or a bigger issue?? Any advice please hit me up! I'm still struggling with humidity issues, but she seems to be ok! Thank you so much to everyone in this community for all the love, support, and help with my first grow. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. It wasn't the best Fastbuds Gorilla GLue specimen we've made, so to speak it's one of those pheno that is probably getting low this time because the ruderalis lineage somehow prevailed. but excellent anyway not the most productive but very full of resin as I mentioned here Fastbuds certainly maintains a very high quality standard on all strains. Dried well and tasted just for the test of the creator now it tans a bit and then it is smoked .. indeed it is vaped.

Diese Woche musste ich am Ball bleiben, ein krasser Stretch machte ein fast tägliches LST und eine dezente Entlaubung notwendig. Um einen schönen Ertag für zwei zu generieren, habe ich mich aufgrund der Lage unseres Balkons entschieden, alle Pflanzen kräftig runterzubinden. Zwei Ziele habe ich dabei verfolgt. Zum Einen haben wir hier maximal sieben Stunden mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Durch LST erhoffe ich mir eine gleichmäßige Blütenbildung und Konzentration von Terpenen. Zum Anderen liegen wir mit unserem Balkon mitten im Dorfzentrum mit regem „Publikumsverkehr“. Das deutsche Cannabis Gesetz sieht vor, dass der Anbau nicht öffentlich einsehbar sein darf. Ohne das herunter Binden könnte man die Damen allerdings sehen. Die Anordnung der Pflanzen ist auch so vorgenommen worden, das sich eine Art Sonnenfalle bildet. Jede Pflanze und insbesondere die Blüten bekommen das maximal Mögliche an Sonneneinstrahlung. 🌞 Gegossen wird nun morgens und abends nach Gefühl. Purple Punch Auto fühlt sich ganz wohl hier. Die Vorblüte sieht vielversprechend aus.

On the 50th day, freezing of the leaves was done. it seems that it did not cause stress to the girl, and her leaves were all looking at the light the next day :) The girl drinks a lot, she needs 4.5 liters of water every 4 days, the girl received full nutrition on the 53rd day, the water ppm was 1100:) "strong girl -strong food ":D everything is going very well:) On the 56th day, when I came I saw condensation formed, the humidity showed 85%, I put a dehumidifier in the tent, so everything is fine :) good luck to everyone..Also, the girl received a "MarsHydro vetiliator" as a gift for her amazing growth :D she likes it :) she's happy - I'm happy :).

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing.
