Okay guys, now this has been an eventful week. unfortunately, I can now only visit my plants on the weekend as I am sutying in another city and the plants are at my parents house. That has translated to the little tiny brown leaf I found last week turning into 3 - 4 semi-rotten buds. So yes, catterpillars. Little pesky green catterpillars were the ones eating the leafs and the ones that have now caused some bud rot on my autoflowers. To wich I have decided to do an emergency early harvest as you can see in the pictures above. Trichomes were more or less 10 - 20 % cloudy depending on the bud and some buds also had quite a few amber so they cound't have been that far from harvest anyway. I cut off the buds with rot and the buds nearst to them. luckily it was only 1 or 2 big buds on 2 of the 3 autos I have. The remaining auto is the foxtailing one witch I have not yet harvested and am now debating if I should just do it to not risk getting rot over this week I am away or let her ripen more. The process was cutting off the bad parts, discarding and then cutting off the buds with the stem off the plant. I have never harvested before so I dont know if it is useally done this way but anyway. After the early harvest wich I am sure many would frown upon I did something even morecontroversial and washed the buds in water+backing soda, water+hidrogen peroxide, just water rince and hung them to dry with a fan in front of them for about 2.5hrs. Now I'm a newb so I dont know if this works, but I read and saw a few posts and videos of people doing and explaining this process, and also asked outdoor growers of reddit to see if this is actually a thing, and yes it seems a few if not many people wash their outdoor buds in some way or another. I washed hoping that if there are any caterpillars in the buds that would kill or at least debilitate them.. none floated off while i was washing though.. so now im scared there are still some in my buds and will rot while im drying :( i checked each bud individually trying not to break them up but didnt find any caterpiullar. i only found one while washing the leafs I had trimmed off the plant before harvesting the buds. Anyway, I have bought anti caterpillar and anti fungal spray for tthe photoperiod plants wich seem to be doing okay. A part from some white powdery stuff on the leafs, maybe powdery mildew? Anyone know what can be done for PM ? Anyway, as usual, thanks for your support and comments! sorry for the long post hehe Edit: Totally forgot to mention this.. I think the foxtailing auto has gone hermaphrodite and polinated the other plants (?) I found a little dark ball at the bottom of one of the buds I have harvested, I picked it off because I didnt knoe if it was rot.. A SEED CAME OUT! Yeah.. So now Im thinking my plants have been pollinated by the foxtailer? Does this make sense? xD

Joana teve dificuldades para se desvencilhar da casca da semente, intervi gentilmente neste processo utilizando uma pinça. Logo após este processo ela apresentou a cotilédones, e as primeiras folhas, e um ótimo desenvolvimento. Aparentemente agora ela pegou no tranco! 😅 Joana apresente menor densidade de folhas, porém maior estatura. 5,3cm A planta Maria vem forte desde a germinação. Ela apresenta maior densidade de folhas e menor altura. 5,0cm Fiz a primeira rega com fertilizante 2ml flowermind A e 0,25g flowermind B diluído em 1 litro de água pH6.5. Fiz a rega com 70 a 80ml desta solução em cada vaso. Após a rega elas curvaram para baixo, isso me preocupou. Espero que não seja nada demais. Até a próxima. 😇

Hola cultivadores. Se acerca la víspera de año nuevo, y con ello, la llegada de la floración. El día 12/27 observé las plantas y se aprecian diminutos pelos blancos, no están presentes en todas las ramas. Pero es suficiente para comenzar la fertilización con productos de floración. Escogí Bio-Bloom de BioBizz en su dosis media para que se adapte poco a poco al cambio de alimento, reduciendo igualmente el Fish-Mix a la mitad. Se mantuvo el Acti-Vera y el Alg-A-Mic en su misma dosis. Ya la planta alcanzó los 101 cm, esperemos crezca y engruese sus ramas porque igualmente están delgadas para soportar el peso de los cogollos.

So now I have finally harvested my first hydro plant!! It was a pleasure. My partner and I were busy cutting the plant all Sunday. Everything is ready and it is now hanging! To grow: I'll keep it short. At the beginning I worked according to the individual cann thinning scheme. Halfway through the grow I started working with H2o2 because I couldn't maintain the temperatures in the water to avoid illness. The plant was grown like a photoperiod plant because I also had photos in the tent. The plant also suffered a nutrient burn during the flowering phase. I think I worked with the PK 13/14 too early. I'm happy that I was able to learn so much from the grow.

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Still no amber trichomes in sight but starting flush from next watering. Only have 3 weeks till I move and need this all trimmed and dry within 3 weeks . Throwing every trick in the book at it get it to finish. Lifted light as high as I could get it and cut back to 75 % from 100. As well as cutting light hours back to 10/14

This week's been amazing seeing all the sprouts getting bigger daily. There's a few that might not make the cut but will see by next week how they're doing. All in all Happy Growing.

No problems throughout the entire grow, a very easy plant, literally automatic. It produced a lot of resin and smelled delicious, very good. Low production due to the small 3L pot, cold, and only 12 hours of light. But the quality is outstanding.

Marker didn't take well to the mainlining process; as a result, one cola was almost entirely consumed by mold. However, overall, things are looking good. I ended up with a small, resilient plant with a nice aroma of pineapple and Skittles, with hints of gas towards the end. 🍍🌿 Towards drying and curing now! 🌬️🎊
