everything in the second week of flower went well. she really stretched and the buds quickly started getting fat. also every watering i would notice a very strong odor of weed. december 22nd 2021: gaver her last half of gallon used in last feeding. also nothing was tested. ph tested at 6.6 last feeding and it usually comes out a little higher after a few days. january 1st 2022 i noticed the first trichomes.

Blueberry Muffin Week2 F14. After switching to 12/12 , they are still stretching and have already 2x in size. The plants smell strong already. Feeding 3x a week. 2x with grow,bloom,topmax and 1x with calmag and Alg a mic.

It was fun to grow in the back yard. I wouldn’t grow again though. They get stressed and stunted very easily. Don’t smell. Low yield. Low potency.

The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. The only thing that happened this week was that I added under-canopy lighting. I don't expect much as it's a cheap light with only 24W (four LED strips x 6W), but since it was just lying around, I figured I might as well use it.

Week 4 of flowering shows strong structural development with many evenly distributed bud sites and the first signs of stacking. The canopy opened up well after selective defoliation, allowing light to reach the second layer, while resin production and bud formation continue to accelerate.

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 2 the PH was 6.0. On day 3 the buds are really bulking up :) and the reservoir is at 6.0. On day 4 I applied a BTI drench Ph of 6.0. This should be the final application for any remaining fungus gnats. The reservoir's PH is also 6.0. On day 5 I had to PH up my reservoir to 6.2. When I get to the last half of my reservoir the PH seems to dive down instead of up. On day 6 the reservoir PH is 6.3. On day 7 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir to 6.1 and did my final defoliation before harvest. I have one cola that may have gotten pollen somehow... I cant find any male pollen sacks anywhere on my plants so it's kind of a mystery at the moment. Only time will tell and all my other colas seem unaffected.

Not been on for a while so haven’t updated past few weeks but here’s w little video of how she’s getting on. Not entirely sure how long left I’ve got with her so any help would be great in that aspect.

It's week 10 of flowering, and the Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle is almost ready to harvest. I think we'll get the saw out within the next week. It smells lemony, and the buds are hard and firm. Can't wait to test these 🍋.

Continuing the journey with the HiHolyHigh selection in this 8th cycle Living Soil bed. The canopy is looking mostly uniform, though a few cultivars (RS11, Colorado Nightshifter, and Runtz HHH) are taking a bit longer to fully acclimatize to the environment. Key Technical Details: • IPM: Fully up to date and strictly maintained. • Soil Moisture: Keeping levels constant within the optimal range to ensure the soil microbiology remains active. • Biological Activity: Applied avocado tech today to congregate and stimulate the worm population on the top layer, prepping them for the upcoming pre-flower re-amendment. Nutritional Notes: The space is almost completely filled, but I’m noticing a slight Magnesium deficiency in the Animal Tsunami and the RS11 is currently recovering from a minor Nitrogen lockout. I’ll be spending this week dialing in these corrections to ensure they are 100% healthy before flipping to the flowering cycle.
