so its been a steady week growth has been amazing especially on my OG kush and the auto-colorado Cookies. Unfortunately while doing some lst on the colorado cookies i snapped branch. I was able to duct tape it back and hook it to the main branch as a form of botany sling. ill be taking clones in 2 days (waiting for freaking amazon) i plan to take arond 3-6 from the og kush and 2-5 from the g zkittlez(about 8 total) from there i will begin a perptual 2 week harvest. Once the roots take place i will put them all in soil and after about a week or two i will be placing 2-4 into a flower tent, arriving soon as well. Following 2-3 weeks later place another 2 into the flower tent, and do this while cloning every 5 weeks. This is a rough draft idea. I will need to ensure the essential space is available, the veg tent doesnt get too crowded, and the smell can be contained. But all is looking good as of now! update 09-04 took clones today. took too many the goal was 6-8 total and i did 8 per plant, 16 total. The OG kush has been such a stronger strain in ways i did know plant could vary. What i am specifically speaking to is when cutting the og kush cuts stayed up right with leaves still in the up/"praying" position and stayed that way until placed in the tent. the G zkittlez IMMEDIATELY started drooping and i could feel how weak the cuts were. Regardless i took 8 from each and am very excited about some of these cuts. I still have high, yes pun intended, hopes for the gorilla zkittlez, some strains in my experience do shit during veg but come alive during flower and vice versa, that being said if the same routine occurs during flower i do not expect to keep this strain in my line up. i have Amherst sour Diesel (humboldt) and Skywalker Kush (emerald triangle) seeds sitting waiting to be used, 3 of each fem.

This week I have been steering vegetatively. Less stress on the plants to increase the weight on the buds. Watering is done very often and the plants are drinking a lot. EC lowered to 3.0 and the VPD has been reduced which means higher humidity than usual. The buds are getting bigger and I’m seeing a slight shade of dark purple on the bud!

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. 9/16 Day 8: transplanted 3 of them into 1 gallon plastic pots. they werent very rooted but the roots they did have were healthy and thick. will transplant the others as soon as i can. Up potted about half of the tent. i need to set up another tent 9/18 day 10 transplanted the last 2 plants into 1 gallon pots. im reusing soil with them and i dont normally do that. hoping that there arent any random issues to pop up. 9/19 finally numbered the plant's. #1 is the one that's looking more sativa leaning. she has longer petioles or fan leaf stems. Longer, thinner leaves and has stood out from the rest from the very beginning. im going to use the terms indica/ sativa and hybrid as generalized terms. on the other end #5 is super short and tightly spaced nodes. has a more even indica style look to her. #'s 2-4 i have noted as being "hybrid" as in they look to be a mix of both and not on one end or the other such as #1 and #5 are. also onr of the hybrid ones has super thick indica maple leaf style leaves that stands out as well. these are more so for my notes and i understand that these are all technically hybrids 60/40 sativa/indica i believe.

We flipped the switch and changed the light cycle to 12 hours. Both lemon ladies are doing pretty well, as is the development. Let's hope for a big harvest!

Wassuuuup my dudes 21 days into flowering and the results from the lst and defoliation are showing up. Multiple healthy tops and even the small nodes under the canopy are growing bigger, if all goes well I won’t have many popcorn nugs but I’ll have just big buds (let’s hope) I guess this also means they won’t stretch much more but I think some more height would be good for yield, anyway, can’t complain for the 1st grow and this is a process, there are no perfect grows! This week was also a week to add some more nutrients (the plagron) and it’s working very well for now! Let’s wait for the next few weeks, can’t wait to see the fatty buds 😂 Tell me what you think!
