Bunterbiber seed was put into water for 24h. Then for 24 hours into cosmetic cotton pads and afterwards into soil (Floragard Anzuchterde).
Light (20W full spectrum) in my little breeder is on for 18 hours. The plan is to move the plant into the bigger tent after some about 2 weeks.

Bunterbiber She has outgrown the small pot. The roots are everywhere, and she’s no longer showing any noticeable growth.
At the moment, the larger tent is still occupied by another plant that needs more time than expected. Once that one is finished, this little lady will get a new pot and more space to grow.

Bunterbiber Since the big tent is opening up in the next 1–2 days, I was finally able to repot her into a larger container. As you can see from the photos and the yellow leaves, the poor girl has been struggling a bit. The small pot was completely root-bound. She’ll be able to recover nicely in her new home! ;-) I also topped her during the week (see the 2nd photo).

Bunterbiber For my first photo in the tent, I’m experimenting with a version of the Gas Lantern Routine: 12h on, 5.5h off, 1h on, 5.5h off. So far, she seems to be handling it well. I also started LST this week to encourage more lateral growth.

Bunterbiber The lady is slowly picking up pace, and the leaves have a lush green now. I’ve been keeping her low to the ground with LST to encourage more lateral growth. I also did some defoliation before taking these photos to make sure the new shoots get more light.

Bunterbiber She’s grown quite a bit over the past week and the leaves are a lush, healthy green.
I’m still keeping her very low using LST. I’ve also been doing some ongoing defoliation, removing larger fan leaves that were shading the younger shoots.
I might flip her to flower sometime next week if she continues to develop at this pace.
It’s honestly such a blast watching her grow!

Bunterbiber I dialed things up this week by bumping the 80W light from 50% to 70%. She’s been producing leaves like crazy, so I went ahead with some heavy defoliation to keep the airflow and light penetration on point. Interestingly, the scent is already starting to pick up, even though we’re still in veg.
Tomorrow is the big day: I’m officially switching to a 12/12 cycle to flip her to flower. I’m super curious to see how much she’s going to stretch once the transition starts.

Bunterbiber I officially made the switch to a 12/12 light cycle this week to kick off the flowering stage. If you check out today’s photos, you'll see there are no signs of pre-flowers just yet. I’ve also started introducing some organic bloom nutrients into the feeding schedule.
She’s still pumping out massive amounts of foliage, so I’ve been doing some ongoing defoliation to keep things under control. I’m currently debating whether to thin out a few more branches to give the future colas more breathing room, but I think I’ll wait a few more days to see how the stretch plays out first.

Bunterbiber It’s officially showtime! The first pistils are popping up everywhere, and I’m happy to see the transition into bloom. She’s really claiming her space now and filling out the tent beautifully. To keep the canopy manageable, I’ve been doing some defoliation throughout the week, making sure those new bud sites get all the light they deserve. The lights are now on 100% (80W).
The aroma is shifting from a light smell to something more complex. I can't wait to see how the terpene profile develops.

Bunterbiber Entering Week 10, and the progress is amazing! I decided to do some selective pruning and took out four larger branches this week—she was just getting way too dense, and I wanted to ensure optimal airflow. She’s still got some momentum, too, gaining another 5-10cm in height.
Bud development is now the primary focus; there is noticeable growth in the flower sites daily as the plant directs its energy toward bloom.

Bunterbiber Rolling into Week 11! She’s still pushing upwards a bit, so I’ve been busy with some LST adjustments to level out the canopy and keep the stems at a uniform height. I also cleared out some more foliage, specifically targeting leaves that were pressing against the tent walls—it's important to keep that airflow moving and avoid any moisture buildup.
On the health side, I’ve noticed some slight browning at the leaf tips, which suggests she might be right at the limit with the nutrients. It looks like a minor case of nute burn, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on the feed. The overall leaf color is also transitioning to a paler green, but that feels like a natural progression for this stage of the flowering cycle. So far, so good!

Bunterbiber Entering Week 12, and things are still looking solid. The buds are continuing to put on some nice weight. I spent some time doing a bit of 'housekeeping' by removing some of the smaller lower growth (popcorn buds) to make sure the plant focuses its energy on the main colas.
During the last watering, I finally took some runoff measurements, and the results were quite interesting: the EC was sitting at a high 2.9 mS/cm, while the pH remained stable at 6.6. This definitely explains the slight tip burn I mentioned last week!
Because of those high salt levels, I’m going to flush or heavily dial back the nutrients for the next feed to help her stabilize. Despite the high EC, I have to say she seems remarkably unfazed and is still pushing forward strong. Let's see how she reacts to the diet!

Bunterbiber Cruising through Week 13! First things first: the smell is getting seriously loud now. Every time I open the tent, she’s stinking up the whole room in the best way possible!
I’ve also been doing some heavy daily defoliation this week. My main goal is to keep the local humidity within the canopy from hitting critical levels—definitely trying to avoid any late-stage mold issues. If you look at the photos, you can see how much 'slimmer' she’s become now that I’ve thinned out that massive sea of green.
The sugar leaves are absolutely caked in trichomes at this point—the frost level is getting insane!
On the technical side, after those high runoff readings last week, I gave her a thorough watering with plain tap water. It worked: the runoff EC dropped to about 2.3 mS/cm. I’ll keep monitoring the numbers closely, but we’re definitely approaching the finish line!

Bunterbiber I decided to ease off on the defoliation this week. I had a bit of a gut feeling that bud development was starting to plateau, though it might just be my mind playing tricks on me—sometimes you just stare at them too long, right?
On the feeding front, I’m still managing those high runoff levels. Since the EC is still sitting above 2.0 mS/cm, I’ve moved to a 'feed-water-feed' rotation, alternating between 4L of plain tap water and my regular nute mix. Honestly, she still looks incredibly fit. There’s only some very minor tip burn on a few leaves, so she’s taking the high EC levels like a champ.
The scent is becoming very refined—it’s honestly lovely at this stage!
Now for the 'oops' moment... I made an incredibly dumb mistake with the timer. She ended up getting about 45 minutes of extra light per day for three days straight. I’m crossing my fingers that she forgives my clumsiness and doesn't decide to herm (hermaphrodite) or re-veg on me this late in the game!
Looking forward to seeing what the next few weeks have in store.

Bunterbiber Rolling into Week 15! It’s been a pretty quiet one on the home front. Looking at the buds, they still don’t quite have that 'ready for the chop' look just yet, so it’s officially a waiting game from here on out. Patience is definitely a virtue at this stage!
One big win this week was the environment: thanks to the low ambient humidity outside and in my apartment, the tent climate has stayed perfectly in the sweet spot without much effort on my part. It’s always a relief when Mother Nature does the heavy lifting for you!
Just keeping a steady hand and letting her finish up at her own pace. We’re getting there, slowly but surely.
May the green thumb be with you 💚

Bunterbiber Week 16 is here! I’ve officially cut out the nitrogen this week as we head into the final part. The beautiful autumn fade is starting to show, and you can really see her maturing a bit day by day.
I checked the trichomes, but they still need a little more time to reach that perfect ratio—patience is still the name of the game. Honestly, I’m super pleased with this lady so far; she’s been a total joy to grow and is looking better than ever!
A Bulletproof Performer!
"I honestly can’t say enough good things about this strain. From start to finish, she was incredibly easy and uncomplicated to grow—truly a low-maintenance dream.
But the most impressive part? Her insane resilience. I actually had a major scare when one of my other houseplants—sitting just 40cm away from the tent—got infested with spider mites. There were times when the tent door was left wide open for hours, and I was sure the mites would jump ship. But this plant? She didn't care one bit. She stayed completely clean and unaffected throughout the whole ordeal.
I am absolutely blown away by the final results. Between her tough-as-nails genetics and the quality of the harvest, I’m beyond stoked. If you're looking for a strain that is both beginner-friendly and incredibly hardy, this is the one!"

Bunterbiber Chop day is officially here! By the end of Week 16, I decided to pull the trigger. The trichomes were mostly cloudy with a few ambers popping up here and there. While I could have let her go another week, my personal schedule made this the perfect time to harvest.
I also had a new toy in the garden today: a Vevor bowl trimmer. I used it for the small and medium-sized buds while hand-trimming the 'top shelf' colas. Honestly? I’m blown away. It’s not as surgical as a manual trim, but the time-saving is a total game-changer.
The Stats:
- Wet weight: 544g
Next step: Into the Dryfermbags for about a week until the limited amount (due to German law) is ready for the jar.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this grow. No issues, no drama—this strain was an absolute breeze to grow and performed like a champ. Now, I just need to nail the drying and curing phase!
P.S. Need some cleaning advice! Cleaning the Vevor trimmer (especially the grate) is a nightmare. I’ve been using ISO and a cloth, but it’s still a struggle to get all that resin off. If anyone has a pro-tip or a better method for cleaning these machines, please let me know in the comments!"
