In this week, i defoliated most of the (very) sick leaves on both plants. Afghan Kush is really bushy, Blueberry not so much, she skinny. Both smell absolutely great. Both continue to sweel and grow. We are now, same as in the BPP diary, in what i call the "mostly boring" state. its nice to see the visual changes in the timelapse, but other than that, not much to do besides water them. Both have discontinued to show any new or lets say worse signs of any deficiencies, there are now some overfeeding signs but i rather have that then them trying to creep by. Watering reduced to 2.2L for each to account for them taking to long to dry out. Roots are STACKED, the soil is almost solid by them. Next grow will be in airpots since i also expect root issues here(ringroots or the like, maybe damage due to overwatering in like week 3/4). Timelapse i will add tomorrow. Still looking fair. I'm waiting for the fourth node before I top it the first time. Day 13 the fourth node was out yesterday so I topped it for the first time to begin mainlining. Transplanting into the final container (7 gallon fabric pot) to continue indoor growth until it's warm enough to send it outdoors

I did some mistakes but i was still setting everything up, still happy after 5 without growing a plant, pretty dense buds i will do better in the next grows.

Been busy these past few weeks. 2 of the 4 plants didn’t survive an overly aggressive plant wash, so I had to pop more seeds. 1 of which appears to be a super strong pheno. Got the thrips and mites under control using beneficial nematodes in the soil and cucumeris predatory mite satchels at the base of the manifolds. Apparently the coco I used wasn’t pre buffered as advertised and I ran into a major magnesium deficiency. Could’ve been a lockout due to the dolomite lime I mixed into the medium, but if I had to guess I’d put my money on the coco hogging all of the mg in the worm castings. Top dressed with worm castings and Gaia green 4-4-4 all purpose, and then watered in max dose of cal mag+, cleared the deficiency up it appears. Lots of new lessons being learned this run. Still hopeful of a solid harvest at the end of the day.

Day 3 for the gutter hoes and they are in the system. I am using a 4 ft section of gutter with caps on both ends. The bottom is lined wit about half an inch of pea gravel for better drainage. Then filled with perlite. A feed line will pump nutrients to the end of the gutter that is elevated about an inch. The nutrients drain back to the reservoir and will be circulated 24 hours a day. This alleviates the need for an air pump since the return water oxygenates the 4 gallon reservoir. Just a cheap nft style setup I guess you would call it.

05/22/24. Going into week 3 flower Everything seems to be going pretty good so far. Finally got a bit of stretch and definitely have some bud formation. As things are still so freaking dark with these ladies leaves I am still not giving a feeding. Have given them water with silica and calmag when things seem dry. Plant 1 seems much more leafy and with many more bud sites than plant 2. Most of plant 2’s growth has not made it up to the trellis sadly. I will be doing some cleaning up of the stuff underneath the trellis and some selective defoliation today or tomorrow. Lights now about 75% at about 20 inches up. Temperature has been 73-82 with around 50% humidity. I think I covered everything for now. Thanks for lookin

Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Bastante bonita, buen producción a pesar de que le dio botrytis en la copa principal y tuve que cortar por prevención. Un olor muy original, honestamente me gusto mucho, la considero fácil de cultivar con un plan de nutrientes medios.

I killed 3-4 bugs around the tent and dont see anything else for the moment. Both of the Gorilla Zkittlez’s looking good and frosty and all of them except the tallest Gorilla Cookies, I think it was meant for bigger spaces :D Anyway assuming last 2 weeks before chop

This is the week 2! Well, the plant looks really healthy, and she kept growing up, straight to the light! Good to see that even after the strange beginning, with the stem crooked, she recover her path! This week, I'm also planning to start feeding them with some NPK. Just need to read a little bit more about it and buy nutrients. Probably I'll try Canna stuff. Anyone know if it's good?
