Things are looking good. I'm in a bit of a time crunch so I think I'm going to harvest early. Sometime this week probably, just shy of 8 weeks. Cool strain to grow. Very interesting calyx formations at the crowns. I dried a couple small buds and threw them in my vape a few days later and the terpenes seem great. Can't wait to see how it tastes fully cured. I'm going to wash and decarb the buds before curing them, and I've never done that before, so I'll post that here too. Thanks to everyone who read and commented! Happy growing!

even with the growth of my zombie kush ... was fed today with earthworm humus and red guano ... every 15 days .... she taking a smell of mint and pine more and more ... and follows the fat of your buds ... waiting for you to take that purple tone on the part of your buds

Week 9 of Flower & Happy Day 60 of Flower, you beauty 😍 She continues to stun with her amazing colours fading. I tried to best show her beauty with different bgr colors, with whatever is possible in my home. I decided against flushing her. I will decrease her feeding towards the end, but not flush her. From the pictures I would almost say she's there? I see so many amber ones and purple transparent milky mixed ones. Hard to say. She's also almost red now, her leaves, no leaf left without fading... I didn't plan for her to be ready this week, aaaaaaaaah. Will she make another 5 days? I hope so. Also the light green shining things, what is it? I find them curled up on buds, they grow a white hair outside but they are curled like a little ball, is it balls???? I watered them today with 3l and a lighter feeding, 2ml bloom and topmax. I guess it was her last watering 😌 Looking at the trichomes and planning a little time-wise, I think I might let her under the light the whole tomorrow, then start the next in Darkness and leave her in the dark for the following 48hours. That should give me some time to prepare her harvest and upcoming drying situation a bit better. Exciting yeay 😝 Day 62 of Flower and 132 days in total and this lady has her last day with light. I went and checked her trichomes again, from top to bottom. She's ready 😍Now into darkness for min. 48 hours yeay

Ladies are doing great, finally fixed the pH problem, so the lockout should be fixed. Great growth, amazingly icy buds, especially pheno #1 is looking incredible. Smells of sour cherry candy with some hints of that gelato too.

Explosive growth compared to last week. I topped again, which might be the last time before I allow for some more growth before flipping. Super Impressed, this would be much bigger if I did not delay transplanting for a week and a half, because I had my grow space full! I just started 2 others, unfortunately bad timing as this one's almost to flower, so either I will stretch the veg out for much longer so all plants can flower at same time, or work out other arrangements. So far I'm beyond impressed with Homegrown Genetics and cannot wait to see these beauties flower 😁

Man everything is going right withe the grow. Only thing to do is just sit back and and watch the grow turn into amazing buds. I will be getting ready to start my 3rd tent!

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Not the greatest but that’s down to the grower not the products. Buds are nice and solid but could’ve probably used an extra week or two. Nevertheless I’m still enjoying my very own organic weed. I’ll definitely grow this again and when I do I may LST one and see how she does compared with one left to grow in a natural central column. Happy growing peeps 🐞🤙🌱
