Hey Freunde heute ein kleines Update, mittlerweile ist Blütetag 24 der stretch war wohl noch nicht ganz zu Ende und besonders die Papaya und die Pink Chai haben nochmal nen richtigen Schub gemacht. Heute hab ich mal doppelt soviel Wasser gegossen, da die unteren Blätter schon leicht vertrocknet waren und die Töpfe immer sehr leicht. Die Pink Chai bekommt minimal gelbe spitzen, aber is glaub zu vernachlässigen, verdacht war zuviel Licht. Sie hat danach auf jedenfall auf gehört die Blätter zum Licht zu strecken, also erstmal keine praying leaves mehr, heute Abstand verringert und sie Betet wieder. Layla is definitely ripening but I think one more dose of PK perhaps if not just water. Decide tomorrow Maggie still aggressively building buds so she is absolutely getting more PK, remember there is Dr Earth in the pot so its not like she is being starved for other nuets. I think Maggie, being a sativa pheno, may go another two weeks. D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. I doubt the Purplematic girl missed me, but she looks great! The flowers are a deep, DEEP purple, and her senescence has progressed, resulting in pretty purple/yellow leaves. I had a first look at her trichomes, and she is getting ready. Most trichomes are cloudy, and I even see an amber one here and there. Won't be long now :) ------------------------------ D63. We're at the end of the fifth week of flower, and this grow is almost at the end. She is fading beautifully, and the trichomes are ripening. I would love to let her go another week to watch her senescence, but I need to move the light from this tent to the photo tent since I'm running out of space there, and this Kingbrite light has a much lower profile. ------------------------------

This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!

Hey fellow growers another week in the books! Not a lot going on this week except some leaf plucking! Total plant life is 77 days old( 10 days over Northern lights supposed to be harvest time). I'm in my harvest window now for pineapple auto. Neither plant is close to ready! Both could prob use another 2-3 weeks! I will start my 2 week flush today on these ladies. As I need this tent for drying. I would try to stretch these ladies a little longer but as fast as they are yellowing I'm not sure if I can even make it through the two week flush! These girls have started defoliating themselves and I'm running out of fan leaves. Thanks to my rookie mistake of defoliating all my fan leaves off both plants some weeks back! All the issues these plants have are my mistakes. Like I just found out that changing from blurple lights to white lights in flower could have stressed these ladies🤯💩🤬! Now that I think back and look back my girls were doing well up till light change! Live and learn is what this has become for me. Not a pro and prob won't ever be until I can figure out this nutrient feeding. I can look on all these different sites and everyone will tell you a different amount to feed and still have yet to find one single feeding suggestion chart for an auto flower using my nutrients. Well as u know from last week I did a 10 gal flush to correct dry pockets in my soil. It helped! Both plants will now hold a gal of Solution instead of a 1/4-1/2 gal. It didn't improve the yellowing of either plant. I was told to stop giving nitrogen as the plants themselves are passing maturity and are nearing the end of their lifespan. I thought when u stressed an autoflower it just set u back a week so u had to grow a week longer. What I was told is an autoflower is genetically designed to go a certain length of time and once it passes that time that's it! So losing a week to stress is a week lost of 🌸. Can anyone reassure me that this is the case because it is important to me to know that I'm putting out accurate info to others. Well as you can see I'm playing with these ladies a lot now ..They are both on week 7 the smaller CBD was just put into a bigger pot and will be stretched out a bit then left to reach right up for the sky not looking for big gains with this one but we shall see.. The blue cheese she is my baby and living the good life .. she has been trained nicely and will be left to go straight up as well as with in reason I do have neighbours .. The team at Dinafem were my first plants to ever run and I've been running them ever since love the genetics so much

Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy.
