This week was a good one . Stellar initial growth this round after upgrading lights & using homemade super soil. My 3 day old plants looked like 9 day old plants of my last run to give an idea . I watered for the first time since planting on 5/17 . I had to itch to test the runoff since it’d only take a sec right? All the ph’s came out almost 2 points lower than when they went in so I decided on a flush even though I’m using Dry amendments. Honestly I didn’t have the problem of fluctuating ph’s before I added that Peat Moss to my supersoil in hindsight I wish I would have just ordered 1 more 11lb brick of CoCo Coir . I had the idea that I may need to flush a day or two prior to watering when I noticed all my stems purple. I get it could be genetics but ALL of them where purple . Here today it is 1 full day since I flushed & all of the stems are now Green with the exception of my Runtz seedling. 3/17 will make day 7 for Runtz & #1 of the GDP 3/18 will make day 7 for Zkittlez & the 3 remaining GDP. I intended to transplant these ladies day 13 preferably into their forever homes of 3g fabric pots . Fingers crossed day 14 they’ll be ready to start some LST.

Im getting such good results with this plant. Nug sites are swelling up fast and it has a strong skunks smell with a bit of a piney scent. This will probably be the biggest yield of the batch.

Last week I tried to fix the calmag issue, since it was my first time using calmag from biobizz, I didn't know how to apply it and got the nutrient deficiency. This week was time for the base plan from advanced nutrients, and I could saw a sign of nutrients oversode, hence I used 1.5ml/L of each base plan (micro, grow, and bloom), and I set 200 µS/cm as base for the solution. Then I used some befetial bacteria as usual from the "Colectivo cientifico" (scientific hub) from Chile. I gently watered my girl and applied some leafcoat to prevent plagues. Next week I want to apply other natural anti-plagues, since I had plagues in my prior grow. I also decided to apply LST, the plant has more branches and it's ready for it. I really like how LST improves the yields and helps the plant develop several "colas". I final note is that the plant now has a strong smell compared to, lets say, my prior grow (think different from dutch passion). Please let me know any thoughts about my girl, the nutrients or the LST technique.

1/29/24 - Beginning of week. Looked good, was planning on letting it go another week but within a day the top leaves started turning yellow all over and I started seeing amber, just a few but spread out all over the plant, so last minute decision to harvest on 1/31/24.

Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.

This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. Que hay familia, actualizo la quinta semana de floración de estas Runtz F1 automáticas de Zamnesia. Vaya liada de floración, me salió en este indoor una plaga de trips y los 5 ejemplares están picados, ya traté las plantas esta semana, añadí aceite de neem en la tierra, rocié un insecticida y añadí tiras azules, veremos esta próxima semana si ya erradique este inconveniente, e comprado aceite de neem y jabón potásico para darles un último tratamiento Empiezo por supuesto abonando una pequeña cantidad de la gama Agrobeta. La temperatura está 25 grados y la humedad anda entorno al 50%. Riego cada 48 horas. Hasta aquí es todo estas próximas semanas veremos cómo van avanzando, ya que les quitaremos todos los nutrientes. Starting my grow diary From a 3 week of Bloom. Everything is going well apart that i feel this first 3 weeks of flower i could do a little better on control the environment and the plant feeding.. But all good till now.. let's see....

Week 6 and things are really taking off. They are beginning to fatten up. Been using Overdrive for about 10 days now and buds are ROCK hard. Very impressed with this combo I have going right now. The Venom OG just continues to blow me away. The buds are really begging to fill out now and the leaves are just started to turn a dark color. Grand Daddy Purps have recovered nicely and are showing some incredible colors. Buds may be a little smaller in size than the other two but with at least 12 tops each and rock solid buds, I am not sweating it. Can't say how impressed I am with Dark Heart Nursery. These are really quality plants! At this point I am watering every day until the end.
