I put the plants under the Electric Sky 180 V2 I kept only 4 plants because one was growing really slow compare to the others and another turned out to be a automatic plant so i took it away as well. I am keeping 2 phenos of the Nanaz x BBC and 2 ot the Humboldt Headband.

Allot of the same this week, fed allot as the plant seemed very thirsty. Growth increase, brown pistols, and tric start of cloudy. The smell is lovely, very fruity and extremely strong. As a long time smoker knowing the smell I wonder what a untrained nose would smell and what they think it would be. Harvest day 73, if I can give her longer I will, as you can see in pics I did not really defoliate at all perhaps 10% as per advice and I kept her low, tied her down to early I believe, will allow for more stretch next time. Live and learn. I just have purchased some advanced nutrients flawless finish so hoping for some smoke easy on the old lungs. Salutations

👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. They are in small felt pots for now, but I plan to transplant them in to big pots very soon. I want to try to avoid root bound plants... I've got some 30gal pots lined up.

This week i pull the light down to 40 CM away from the colas preparing for flowering stage. this week i in crease an organic food ratio to 3 ML/L and in a couple of weeks i will increase a little more to 3.5 ML/L and still feed in Veg nutes. I think, She is quite ready to get through the flowering stage. Any recommendation for me before i turn to 12/12 cycle for flowering?

Here comes the first Preflower Update

Semana 4 (del 23 al 29 de abril) Los espacios para las flores estan preparados, y las flores estan en pleno crecimiento. 25 de abril Riego con 1.2l x planta 2A + 2B + 1.5 Candy + 1.5 Big Bud + 1 overdrive + 1 B-52 + 0.16 Mammoth P + 2.5 Calmag Ph 6.1 EC: 1.2 T:20°C Periódicamente quitamos hojas que vamos viendo tocadas o que estorban. 25 de abril Los trips siguen ahí, no son muchos y parece que no prosperan demasiado pero estan ahi. Riego foliar con spruzit y tec fort para mantenerlo controlados y hoy esperamos que nos llegue diatomea para erradicarlos del todo. Quitamos las hojas que vemos que molestan o que son un poco inútiles porque no les da demasiada luz. Cada día que pasa se ven más flores y más grandes. • Malas noticias, el medidor de EC se averio y los vores del riego pasado fueron erróneos, pero ya tenemos nueva herramienta y solucionaremos los pequeños problemas causados. 29/4 Riego con 1.1l por planta 2 A + 2 B + 1.5 Big Bud + 1.5 Overdrive + 1.5 Candy + 2 Sensizym PH 6.1/6.2 EC 1.72/1.8 ms 18/19.8°C Ayer pusimos varias trampas adesivas azules para trips por si hay alguno que no vaya dando saltos de planta en planta. Hoy realizamos ultimo ( esperemos) riego antiplagas, usaremos 1.5ml•l de aceite de nem y 20g por litro de tierra de diatomea que por lo que dicen es mano de santo. Esta semana las temperaturas han subido un poco; en encendido oscilan entre 25-27°C, estos últimos días siendo más de 26-28°C. Todo sobre la marcha, algunas plantas como la bubba parece que se está adelantando porque es bastante rápida 50-55 dias, la Muffin berry ( que la teníamos en 1.2m ) la hemos tenido que doblar 45° para que no se nos vaya de altura. Por lo demás vosotros diréis 😁

Week 6 went well, I switched to flowering nutrients along with cal mag at an EC of 1.4, and I am slowly raising until I hit an EC of 1.6 within a few days. I did defoliate twice this week, just to improve airflow, and also because the lower fan leaves I removed were not receiving significant light. The runoff of the fertigate is not exceeding 1.5 EC so I am happy with that. I am hoping to keep a minimal amount of colas, and hopefully pull some denser buds than I got my first run. So far I am very pleased with my Mars Hydro Sp250, and especially these genetics from Sweet Seeds. Thanks for checking me out, and blaze on!

11/03 - Mother moved into her own 17 gallon tote - running lights on dome and in tote - super topped - running high humidity and high temps - nute feeds are the same - tied down all 4 coles thus far. 11/06 - tote dome is holding up nicely - transplanting into 7 gallons and 2x2 tent swap.

Update - Tuesday 22nd June To be honest this week hasn’t gone great. I noticed some fruit flies or fungus gnats. There are only a few and they don’t seem to be attracted to the buds at all. None the less for the moment I have put some cider vinegar, soap and water and put t in as wide a surface area as possible and there are quite a few stuck in there after a day. Iv also ordered some of those sticky traps to put around the edge of the pot. Luckily I’m getting rid of my media, the tent, everything inside the tent and will be using a paint spray gun to spray ozonated water or if it’s really expensive then just hydro strength hydro peroxide will be used to spray all surfaces of the room.

I believe last week's flush may have fixed my PH issue, the yellowing (mag deficiency) seems to have stopped spreading..

Transplanted to a bigger pot. (I know, not the best timing because the plant just entered pre flowering stage). The weather is getting better now
