What’s up guys!! Welcome back. Week 8 just commencing - fully flushed the plants today which took forever - getting the build up of advanced nutes salts took ages, but finally got the EC of the runoff down to the same level as the water going in to the plant. Should start seeing some mad colours coming through now, but the plants are looking super dank - especially the Zkittlez! Going for a two week flush now as the trichs seem to be ready - the runtz may need a few more days than the zkitz - but it looked to be suffering a bit from some nute lockout so I’ve gone for the flush now. Hopefully I’ll see some good signs in the next couple of days! Thanks for checking in 🙌🏼

63 days of flowering have passed, according to various colleagues they are 1/2 weeks behind on the swelling. But to me they look squat enough to pick up. Quite evident smell of sweet Hashy. Fed lightly with Bio Bloom but it was more of a rinse. 2.22l per day for 6 days, including 2 days put 1 drop of Bio Bloom in the irrigation

10/12: Looking good. Will feed tomorrow. 10/13: Getting pretty crowded in the closet, so I took the Dark Devil out and moved her into the tiny tent with the other 3. Installed the new FlowerPower UVB lamp. They weren't dry enough to feed today, so I'll do a foliar application of Microlife Maximum Blooms before dark tonight and will feed tomorrow. 10/14: Fed them and took some photos 10/15: I moved Halle Berry(Blackberry 1) into the tiny tent with the dark devils and added another 120w, so that's 360w (72w per square foot) in the tiny tent full of purps...overkill! 10/16: Stared and drooled a bit..pretty much in cruise control now. Stretch has ended for most, but Lemon Pies aren't done yet.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Top dressed with some more soil. The top was looking depleted and just want to keep it from completely taking all the nutrients from the soil. Added a mix of power bloom with azomite and glacial rock dust. I watered in with some pure protein dissolved into hot water then added to the water I was using at diluted levels. The second watering they got this week was with molasses. which also does a good job of dropping the ph of my water to the perfect level and a little bit of Epsom salt because I ran out of my cal mag and also want the plant to have plenty of sulfur. The plant ties are working great and glad it tied the buds up. They are all getting chunkier and frostier by the day. Found a few smaller ones on the side that i missed and got those standing up. they are sticky as a glue trap and reek hard!! diesel and fuel are most prevalent but not sure if it was my mind tricking me but got a hint of blueberry/friut. So far very excited with this plant, and living up to what i thought it would be. The way it covers itself in trichomes top and bottom of the leaves and the structure of the buds and leaf pattern make for a real beautiful plant.

She is staying short and compact like an indica. Only 3 inches of vertical growth the past week. Stretching only half as fast as some of the other in the tent. I prefer this structure of a plant! She is still alive and very little bit growing in last few days, still making roots anyway so didnt wait any grow with this weather. Week was pretty cold night temps mostly 2-4 and day temps 11-14. Dont want to take it inside i just want to see how they react at outside.

Parece que el frio que no nos ayudo en el vegetativo vino bien para la flora. Aunque de por si esta cepa es generosa en resina, con un olor a pino que te dan ganas de perderte en el bosque.
