Well, well, well... the long awaited process has begun. Cheers to never paying for good gas again. Day 1: Dropped 12 seeds (6 strains * 2 seeds each) into 6 glasses of water and labelled them appropriately. Day 2: Noticed 60% of seeds dropped within 12 hrs 100% within 24 hrs.. transferred to paper towel in plastic bag.. Some tap roots already emerged Day 3: Placed seeds onto paper towels in six separate plastic bags labelled appropriately around 8p.. 12 hours later tap roots had emerged on 80% of seeds. Day 4: Seeds went in the soil around 2p and by 9p our two seeds with the strongest tap roots had emerged from the soil 💪🏾. (also added two clones to the mix).. Took the last couple days to test out the AC infinity controller seedling recipe to see if it would keep levels I’d be happy with and after a few modifications I’m happy to say I think it’s working well. Day 5: VPD/RH/Temp Numbers are all looking good. Had an issue with my controller not turning off the lights, but I changed the automated setting so it should be on 16/8 now (off from noon to 8P) Seeds all seem moist I even saw a water droplet on one of the leaves, so I'm going to hold off on watering until tomorrow... then probably Friday or Saturday after that. 7 of 12 seeds are above soil and showing cotyledons, 4 of 12 have fan leaves already. Growth is quickly happening! Day 6: 10/12 seeds are above soil. I might’ve messed up the auto flower we planted directly in the five gallon pot, but we will see. 11 days or so until we out grow the seedling tray. Day 7: 11/12 seeds are above soil. The soil in the 5 gallon pot looked very compacted, so I broke it up a bit and the seed popped within 24 hours. I’d say this was a successful germination week! Changed the light time to off from 10a to 6p for temp purposes. Coasting between 70/75 day/night, right at 70% RH, and .8 VPD.

Great week for noticable change! Buds are forming, calyxes are swelling, and pistils are changing colors. Light defoliation of fan leaves only to expose lower bud sites. These girls reacted to the stress with a much heavier scent.

The autos are doing better than they were I got a new bottle of calmag cuz the older one was old. I still could use some warmer temps. I've been turning the exhaust fan down to the lowest level but the RH goes way up. I might move them into the tent with the HPS soon which settles around 82°f but that light makes the RH go way down so this whole thing is just a pain in the nuts.

My gas tax plant is looking absolutely incredible right now. It's got these massive buds that are super dense and have this awesome dark color to the leaves. I'm so excited to see how it turns out when it's finally ready to be harvested. I've been checking the height, the thickness of the stem, and the density of the buds to get an idea of how much longer I have to wait. I think I might start flushing it soon. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

The week went well, the truth turned off the light for two days and the plant was a day without light at all, then the next day put near the window, the sun was bright enough, then turned on, now the plant is under 600 watts HPS Sylvania . tomorrow or after tomorrow I plan to transplant the plant into 10 gallons of a pot of airpot for the roots go beyond the pot ,very powerful. I also plan to do another topping and do scrog😋 is it too late for scrog? What do you think?😅

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Thought it was all over…….Thrips nearly destroyed my grow. Some Cannacure and some praying and they’re doing ok …………I think 🧐 2 hour power cut, 3 days later Electric surged blew bulb, few hours without hps light.

Wenn ich sehe was aroma und bud technisch durch 1 Woche länger Reifen möglich ist und man es nicht eilig hat und nach Trichomen ernet wird reich haltiger belohnt! Habe sie mit Canna FLUSH gespült und 3 tage trocken stehen lassen die letzten 3 tage. Mir läuft das Wasser im Mund zusammen bei der Farbe und Aromen!!!!

So they're finally done. Really pretty stuff here and serious nose behind it. Every day it's developed and now it reeks like vanilla and lemon candy. There's a pheno that smells like bubblegum and another smells like a sweeter lemon tree. They're similar smelling but very very different. Makes it fun to sort through. The looks are pretty off the charts too but I don't have to say that. I'm excited to do my first smoke report! May not get to it until everything's done curing but my guess is these are gonna be burning phenomenally. I'm looking forward to getting my keeper and getting some beans of my own soon. She’s doing amazing this week she’s really starting to ripen. I think 1 more week… granted I also like to really reduce the lights the last week to increase the chances of increasing yield. I’ve discovered that giving a 12/12 light schedule for the last couple of weeks really allows the plant to fill in its density, as well as allowing the roots a final stretch to access micro and macro nutrients.
