Home stretch baby!!! Start of week 10 of flower, and things are looking chop ready:) The ill effects of last weeks PK burn have subsided and the plants are back to healthy. Have been checking trichomes and flower form, and based on my experience, these ladies are coming down in 6 days, October 6th. One of the plants has the hardest, densest, stickiest nug i have ever seen. So looking forward to tasting. I have been off the nutes for a few days and will be water only from here on out. I have dusted off my old bowl trimmer and drying rack. I have always wet-trimmed and dried in a rack. I dry for about 5 days and then start jarring and burping. The bowl trimmer is soooo fast. It cuts my trim time by literally 90%, will post a video on chop day. Updates later in week F66 - Chopped the one girl who had a tonne of amber in her. Looks to be a good 2.5 zips when dry, time will tell if my estimate is correct, but it comes from experience. Other 7 plants coming down on F71. Check my bowl trimmer video!

🌸 Week 5 Complete – First Week of Flower Phase The light cycle has been switched to 12/12 since the start of the week. No clear signs of flowering yet, except for a slight preflower showing on the Seriotica. However, the stretch has definitely kicked in: 📏 Current height: • Seriotica: 42 cm • Cherry MAC: 46 cm • MAC n Cheese: 50 cm MAC n Cheese is stretching nicely and looks strong – just like the rest of the tent. 💧 Watering & Feeding • 6 L per plant every 3 days • Feeding at ~50 % of the Advanced Nutrients schedule • Input EC: ~1.3 🔍 Drain EC readings: • Seriotica: 1.1 • Cherry MAC: 1.0 • MAC n Cheese: 0.92 Still very happy with the medium mix (Plagron Lightmix + Coco) – especially because the runoff EC is consistently measurable and reliable. Looking back, I probably could’ve flipped to flower a week earlier – the tent is really filling up now! 😄

Underfed these girls a bit and they had a late defoliation but they seem to have done okay

She is vigorous towards the finish has about 1-2 weeks to go. Beautiful purple tones and fruity orange hints. Flushing her with water as she bows out. Trichomes are 40% clear and 60% cloudy. Thc is looking like 18-20%. All in all I am happy with the genetics and hope for a few seeds.

Last look before harvest.. All getting heavy and trying to bend over. Leaves have faded. Strong gassy dank smell has over taken the tent.. Buds are tight and solid full of trichomes.. Very pleased grower 😎 Cheers legend

The flowering is starting to become noticeable. At first, all the pistils have developed well. It's clear that the plant is drinking a lot more, although the soil takes a bit longer to dry out, so it stays somewhat damp. I’ll do a leaf pruning, removing one leaf per node.

11/21/2022: plants are all still extremely healthy, and the buds keep putting on more weight. Only problem has been a small fungas gnat outbreak. So far it has been manageable with sticky traps, but I have some neem cake on the way. Also, top dressed all three plants late last week and watered again today 1 liter each. The fresh worm casting hold the moister more, so I lowered the amount of water today. Watered at 6.8 ph, using the normal ThermX-70 and coconut powder. Also added a 1/2 teaspoon of BuildABloom and 2 tsp of Yah-Whey Thrive, which is a probiotic whey made from fermented Kefir grains. Saw a lot of good reviews, so figured I'd give it a try. 11/22/2022: the fungas gnat issue is getting worse, so I made some neem cake tea and watered each plant about 1/3rd of a liter. We'll see how this works and how the plants respond. 11/23/2022: did a full watering today about 1 liter per plant. Made an alfalfa sprouted seed tea, and added about 1/4 cup of the Yah-Whey Thrive, and some ThermX-70. Fungas gnats are still an issue, so the jury is still out on the neem cake tea. Ordered some Dr. Zymes to change it up, but it's back ordered until Dec. Hopefully the neem cake tea is killing the eggs and larva. The sticky traps are keeping them under control as well. It looks like the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry are beginning to show the first signs of a fade. It's only on a few leaves, so it makes me think it's not a nutrient issue. 11/24/2022: made another round of neem cake tea. Added powdered coconut, BuildABloom, and ThermX-70. Added about 1.3 liters to each plant. 11/25/2022: I'm in an all out war with the fungas gnats and I seem to be gaining ground (for now). Wanted to switch it up, so I made mosquito bit tea and gave about .5 liters to each plant. Mainly trying to get the first couple inches of the soil. The sticky traps are catching the adults, so hopefully the neem and B.t.i will kill the eggs and larva. Buds are continuing to swell, and the aroma is amazing. The Strawberry Gushers is like a sweet funk. The Orange Bubblegum definitely has an orange scent, and the Newberry smells like fruity pebbles. All plants are still looking healthy and I continue to see some mild fading. The Newberry has one branch that is fading more than the others which is strange. Not sure if it has something to do with the super cropping, or something else, but there is a noticable difference compared to the rest of the plant. The leaves and buds still look healthy, so I'm not too worried for now, but will continue to monitor. 11/26/2022: DAY 60!! Decided to get a little crazy today. This will probably be one of the last times I add microbes to the plants, other than one more late flower compost tea, so I wanted to get as diverse as possible. Added 1/4 teaspoon of the BuildASoil Big 6 micro nutrients, Bio-Phos, TeaCo Super Tea blend, and Recharge, plus 4 ml of FishShit. There is definitely some overlap between these, but they each contained several microbes the others didn't, so I liked the extra diversity. I also added the coconut powder and ThermX-70, which I use for every watering at this point. Gave each plant about 1 liter of this microbe tea. I'm sure the extra watering lately is not helping my fungas gnat issue, but the plants are drinking it up. Avg. VPD:1.5 PPFD: 700 DLI: 45

This one was transplanted a couple days after the bigger ones so still small just hoping it builds its roots before pre flower. They all got moved into the 4x4 with the jimmy rigged 180w quantum board light built from ceiling tile grid. The tnb co2 is newish but I gotta get the heat up and bring in a more powerful light to take full advantage.

This strain is just incredible, perfect indica high with a sativa sidenote It grows strong and is quite resistent to mold. All plants were done after about 60 days of flowering. First time i used a tumble trimmer and it works perfectly. I didn't check PH or EC at all

The week starts Monday Jan-27, being day 27 of flowering. Plants are looking very good and healthy, albeit some bigger buds at this stage is missing. Carried out more defoliation of upper leaves on the CBD. Only trimming fan leaves on one side of a bud site in alternate fashion. Strategy is to expose more bud sites to light. Leaves are getting sticky and glistening brightly. Feeding a high EC nutrient mix whilst monitoring run-off EC which remains below feed EC. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering just over 2L per day. Maintaining an average RH in the space at 50%. ---- updates for prior 4 weeks -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-20 still flowering away. Bud sites are beginning to take form and the ScrOG setup looks full, ready for the development of some large buds. Removed a few more leaves from above the canopy which were blocking bud sites below. Also cut small stems (with bud sites) below the canopy from both plants which were unlikely to grow strong. It's now looking clearer below the canopy. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Run-off EC has been slowly rising over the weeks but still under the feed EC - will be keeping my eyes on this. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Maintaining an average RH in the space at 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour.
