Although these plants might look small for 7 weeks old, it's because of the way I've been training them, to grow horizontally & all the H.S.T I've performed to get a really strong, thick structure & also as I've had to manage the height as they will be in veg until the plants in flower are finished & I can transfer them & start flowering. Continue tying branches down as they grow & separate growth tips. Also defoliate leaving only top growth as this will be removed later anyway. Very hardy plants that have handled all the H.S.T & my accidental abuse with no worries. Very thick strong branching. Finished training & now letting them grow upwards to get a bit of size before they get put to flower. Going really well, getting big colas! Had to do a lot of defoliation as they were really bushy, blocking air & light & also starting to rub up against each other & also sweating leaves. Removed a lot of popcorn growth & lower growth that wasn't getting enough light, this created more space for air& light around the colas. Super sticky & very smelly. Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed the fourth week of flowering, the 7th week since the beginning of the vegetation. Now I can already say that we are approaching the grand finale. The plant looks really great, the large flowers have covered the branches and are starting to bend under the weight. The main cola is completely covered with flowers and looks impressive. The smell of Cherry Pie is now very intense, when I open the grow box the smell takes over the whole room even though the ventilation is still working. The leaves are still a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%. Watering is still almost every other day, they still need a lot of water. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. I am super pleased and happy to see how Cherry Pie looks, she really reciprocated my efforts to provide them with the best conditions I can. Here is a short review of the past week. 06/09/2024 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser and lowered the pH to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 08/09/2024 - Day 46. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. 10/09/2024 - Day 48. Watering. Same procedure. 11/09/2024 - Day 49. End of the 7th week from the beginning of the vegetation, or the fourth week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. It has large flowers that have covered the branches that are now slightly bent due to the weight of the flowers. The flowers are very hard and sticky to the touch. The leaves are still a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. Now I can already say that we are slowly approaching the end, from next week I will be painting her on a black background. What can I say, White Widow looks great. The flowers are very hard to the touch although they are not that big if I compare them to her roommates on the "Farm". Although smaller in volume, the flowers bend the branches slightly downwards with their weight. The main cola rises above the branches, the flowers on it are hard as a rock and full of trichomes. The smell is now very intense, when I open the grow box, the smell takes over the whole room. The leaves are a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%. Watering is still almost every two days, they still require a lot of water. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. I am very happy to see how White Widow looks, all three plants on the Farm have far exceeded my expectations. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/7- Here we go with the new addition to the FastBuds family, Papaya Sherbert fem photo. I placed one seed in a glass of lukewarm tap water (non-chlorinated well water). Within 24hrs there was a root beginning to show coming out of the seed. I then placed the seed between two moistened paper towels that I then put in a vented plastic container. I put the container in a dresser drawer where it would be warm and dark. 5/9- When I checked on the seed yesterday, there was a substantial root about 1/2" long coming from the seed. I then planted the seed, root first with just the seed head exposed, in a 2" starter pot filled with peat that I pre-moistened with 6.5ph well water. I placed the starter pot in the bottom of a Solo Cup that I had cut in half. I then placed a clear Solo Cup over it to act as a humidome and placed it under the lights in the grow room. Today the little Papaya Sherbert showed her pretty little self and so begins this journey together with her! 5/12- Two days ago the Papaya Sherbet sprouted her first true leaves and today she's really showing some vigor and some impressive growth! Today I went ahead and transplanted her for the first time into a 2qt pot filled with pre-amended coco/perlite. Before placing the Papaya Sherbet into her new home I coated the hole with Xtreme Gardening MYCOS, then placed the Papaya Sherbet and watered her in. 5/15- One week from breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet feminized photoperiod is looking fantastic and doing great with a second set of leaves now out! She's liking her bigger pot and is really beginning to take off now. I should be able to do her final transplant, which will move her outside, next week as our weather is rapidly improving...
