All growing well! She's taking the soul blend well and fattening up nicely. No kidding on the smell, it's very clearly an "old gym sock" smell... who knows what mutt strain she is. Any estimates on the final dry weight?

The plant is looking great, there isn’t much to say. The weather has been a great help on this grow, and apart from the little N over feeding all is looking good. Buds are starting to get FAAT.

This week is pretty routine plants look good was going to flower for 10 weeks but most of the fan leaves are turning yellow indicating that it's almost time to harvest. There aren't too many new white hairs growing most are turning orange.

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Well she’s definitely gaining weight 🤣 we’ve still got 5 weeks ish to go before I even think she’ll be remotely finished up and ready to chop. The 30w UV Mantis bar from Grow the Jungle has upped trichome production, I can’t wait to see how frosty she is by the end of this run.

The Apple Betty babies are doing great 😊 I’m very pleased with the results so far, I just wished I would have known they would have such a large stretch, they D almost doubled in size in 14 days. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so, much more than my other strain that I have going as well. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. A quick snip here and there will really help the end result. At day 13 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, she flourished just as the girls in my big tent did as well. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing and large tops. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I will be doing a defoliation next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Transplanted into 30l with freedom farms antifragile super soil

This week went without any problems. They're on scedule and next week I'll repot them. I'm gonna keep 4 out of 5 because I have only room for 4 plants in 15 liter airpots. On day 12 I removed the seedling that was making the least progress. It gave me the opportunity to check the roots and they looked fine. I'll guess it will be the same with the other seedlings. I've already filled the airpots and placed them in the tent so they can heat up a bit. There's a large heating mat (RootIt 40 x 120 cm/ 15.7 x 47.2 inch) underneath the pots to keep the substrate at 21 – 22 °C (69.8 – 71.6 °F) I've given them 70 ml ph-adjusted tapwater + Plagron nutrients( amounts see above) each once this week. Once a day I spray them with a solution of CannaCure and tapwater (15ml + 150ml tapwater, ph level = 6.1) The cobs are at 68 watt with a distance of 49cm (19.2 inches) from the Pineapple Chunks giving a DLI of 19. Temperatures fluctuated between 21.7 – 24.2 °C (71 – 75.5 °F) and humidity between 51 – 94 % I've turned on the Airfan and the fan-controller is set at 30-35%.
