Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this Blue cheese Auto from Royal queen seeds will turn out. The temp controlled fan is awesome, its easy to set what temp you like to have in the room. Right now its 28 celcius. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. Everything looks good and I keep trying to tuck the leaves so they get the maximum amount of light where needed. Added pics and video. The Nr 3 girl is still a little bit behind the other 2 girls and all the 3 girls look like there 3 different pheno of the same plant. KL 23.30. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added a video of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good. Kl 22.30. Going well

So the soil plants have reached the flushing stage. Hit the with the last dose of kleanse two days ago and then a big bath of straight ph water this evening. Will flush them for about another week. The plan is to cut the four soil plants down next weekend. The trichromes are all cloudy and starting to get some Amber’s. The buds especially the tops are all dense and sticky. All four plants even tho being same strain have very unique characteristics. But all have the same sticky gas smell. The frost production is pretty amazing with the cyco I was a little nervous about the bud density at first but they really packed weight in the last few weeks. The hydro plant is about a week behind but man is it big AF! It’s got as much bud as two of the soil plants easily! The roots have been kinda out of control but it will be fine with how late it is. The hydro buds already have more density I. The buds compared to where the soil plants were at this stage but so that is exciting. I have a good feeding of the flowering nutes in the res now. The plant in front is still looking ugly as always haha, the buds are small, they develope really slowly, the leafs look like they never had any (N)itrogen lol, had this from the start. Whatever I did about it, it never changed into a better plant. Some people talk about bad genetics, but lets keep that in between. I'm already glad these are indica's and kushes, so they can stand the cold better then a sativa kind. Sativas would already been full of budrot, molts and stopped flowering. However, the plant behind it goes really well with the colds, as expected it even got nice collors, Most of the times color will show at colder climates. I used to trick my inside plants into bud discoloration but the outside weather did it for me. I gave them less nutrients, because i want them to get it from the soil( old nutrients) and from the leafs. Because of this, the leafs have now many signs of deficiency/discoloration. They really look like other plants/trees in the autumn. It was a wise choice of me to keep adding enzymen because when it gets colder, many enzymatic proceses are slowed down or even stopped. Therefore my plants kept drinking, flowering. This was the end of week 7 of flowering. Might havest them at the end of week 8, but lets see how it goes. 9 weeks of flowering would be my maximum but I'm 80% sure i will harvest them at the end of week 8. So again, they gained beautifull colors( the pictures are ugly, will make better ones next week, they look better in real), bigger size buds and now even got decent flowers instead of pistels with leafs like most outside grows LOL.

Es ist mehr Arbeit weil man die Pflanzen Doppelt und dreifach in der Hand hat aber es lohnt sich, ich habe die komplette ernte fertig getrimmt in ein Cvault 21L für 2 Wochen Fermentiert mit einem 62 Prozent boveda, ich habe jeden Tag gelüftet und jeden zweiten Tag muss man es wenden vorsichtig! 👌 😊 Und raus kam richtig Premium gras ♥️♥️♥️😁 The leaf to flower ratio was very, very good! 👌 This time I didn't trim the plants completely, but instead hung leaves with sugar to get a gentler drying process and this time I only manicure the plant when it is dry, which prevents injuries to the plant that would result in it drying out too quickly! It's more work because you have the plants twice or three times in your hand but it's worth it, I finished trimming the entire harvest in a Cvault 21L for 2 weeks. Fermented with a 62 percent boveda, I aired it every day and every other day you have to turn it carefully! 👌 😊 And out came really premium grass ♥️♥️♥️😁

Las plantas llevan 41 dias en floracion y este es su aspecto, estoy regando 2 litros por planta cada 3 dias, E.C 1940 partiendo de base 400 !! P.H 6,4 , estan muy sanas y desprenden mucha olor y resina, son las super boof un escandalo

Day 9: they are all looking super healthy and ready to explode! I’ll just veg these fast. Let them grow a node or two more then top them all and wait some days then switch to 12/12. I’m having 9 plants in the same tent.

Pics show 1.5 weeks from last post. Really wish I could flip her into flower but still can't. I think she is begging to be flipped. So many pre-flowers. Wonder if pre-flowers in Vegg can get pollinated? This thing might get too big before I can flip. Still growing so fast. Probably because I'm focusing all growth to the mainlined stems. Which are so tall now. Most all leaves are dark. Going to start backing off the nitrogen (FF Grow Big) Also seeing tip burn, as well as edge burn on the leaves. Definitely over feed. The soil is probably caked with salt by now. Stress techniques - - Still super cropping all nodes every other day. See image on how big some of these knots get. All stems are super thick and hefty. Which was a goal of mine. - Defoliation every other day. Taking leaves and new nodes off. Definitely think doing this almost every day is the worst stress its dealing with. - Branch squeezing/tie down. Still noticing heavy scaring or buildup where I have it tied down at the base. Will keep it there to keep seeing what happens. All stems/branches around it have hardened. Also noticing red/purple streaks in areas. Wouldn't say it's the healthiest plant but it sure is a sturdy fast growing one.

Week has gone very well will be trimming all fan leaves come week end. The buds are already starting to come in and the smell is becoming more pungent

Well folks, this was a PPFD and CO2 controlled grow and I didn't use any bloom boosters like the Big Bud or Canna Boost etc.. Results are crazy. I managed to collect over 760 grams of dried and fine trimmed nugs. The flowering lights is the LEDWisdom Coral 600W IP67 water and dust proof grow lights. For the first two weeks, I used Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W grow lights from LEDWisdom. When Coral arrived, I changed the light setup so the total lights used is 600Watts. Anyway Coral grow lights have near 3.0 umols/J efficacy and makes your garden yield like crazy no matter what. I'm sure I would have collected more if I used a bloom booster but I wanted to show you guys that you can achieve great results with a great grow light even without flower boosters. You can check my other diaries growing with the Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W. These lights are also killing it and they have around 2.7 umol/J efficacy. Lights were drawing 590 Watts from the power outlet on the wall so I can say that the whole grow yielded more than 1.3 grams per Watt. These strains are not heavy yielders except the Chocolate Chunk but I only had one plant of this strain and she was the smallest plant in the tent. It didn't affect the total yield much. Pink Kush yields are pretty standart but the quality is exceptional. On the crossbreed strain, yield was slightly more than the Pink Kush plants and the yield from each strain is like below; -Chocolate Chunk: 80 grams -Pink Kush: 320 grams -Purple Punch x Pink Kush: 360 grams I made some COB's and also some kief and has with the trim. there wasn't much to trim in the end because I kept my plants in good shape. This was a joy to grow and now I have an amazing stash of high quality dried material stored in vacuum. I'm ready for another pandemic but I hope we won't have one 😅 Wish you the best of luck in your garden. Stay green 💪

Going well

So I’m not worried about the main two seeds that look good hopefully they’re both females I’ll probably take a clone from the vigorously growing one as long as it’s fem. The fourth seed had MAJOR defects so I just threw it out. The third seed though has some sort of true leave defect, more than just the two main true leaves sprouted. The main stem also seemed to have sprouted out of itself as well, can be seen in the photos above; if anyone knows anything about this defect let me know if its even worth keeping around. Seeds are numbered in photo notes.

Very easy to grow and forgiving, they both would take big feeds and weren't upset by high EC. Lovely dense nuggets, some had taken on a purple hue. All dripping with Trichomes and potent turpenes. I can't put a finger on the aromas but there's an old school skunky smell in the background. Completely changed from the early stages of flowering. Very smooth to smoke and reasonably potent. I'll definitely be growing this again and it's my favourite strain of this run. Good work Sweet Seeds, Sweet Gelato is a winner for me!

Heeeey all! Sorry for the extremely slow update! The past few weeks have been crazy for me! 😱 This week I made a lot of defoliation and decided to be somewhat greedy. I'll let the plants grow a bit more so they'll stretch well during flower! So while I defoliate I'll allow the plants to recover properly! 💪 Near the end of the week I also made another mistake with Roko (poor baby! 😭). I broke another of the stems (the one that divided the plant in two, right in the middle) and I feared the worst! But so far the plant kept growing without any problems. I'm still thinking a name for my 4th baby, she has surprised me greatly and I didn't notice how many new branches had grown until I defoliated her and I'm sure she'll deliver some great buds! 😍 Anyway everyone, this is all for now. The week ends Mar-31, being day 91 - week 12 of flowering since flipping the lights / day 75 since from first pistils shown. This strain is expected to flower 60-70 days. Harvested the plant in 2 stages over a 10 day period. Lower buds got exposed to more light and definitely seem to have ripened further since the tops were harvested. Fertigation was resumed using GHE Ripen for first 5 days followed by a flush and water only (no pH adjustments) for the last 5 days. The remainder of the plant was trimmed, manicured and separated into A, B grades and trim/larf buds. The buds and sugar leaves are completely covered in resin glands - glistening away in every angle. This last harvest was done after an extended period of darkness (24hrs). Trichomes across the board looked good and ready with 70% cloudy, 10% amber and 20% clear. The water consumption definitely was slowing down in the last week. The drying buds have a very strong strawberry smell after being hung, whilst during the harvest and trimming there was no noticeable scent of weed. Really great stealth type of plant for harvesting :) Using the tent now as a drying area maintaining a higher humidity of 50-60% between 17-19*C, hopefully to extend the drying period whilst hung. Buds are placed in jars once dry to touch then managed until in the curing zone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive & active intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - GHE Flora trio nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy the other at the roots level)
