This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Apologies for not updating last week, I have just been really busy! These last couple of weeks have been great - her growth is coming along very well. There are no signs of any deficiencies as of yet, what is your opinion! In regards to defoliating and lollipopping - what growth would you suggest I get rid off?

Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

Week 8 and week 3 of flower! The terpenes are making my mouth water and the ladies are fluffier than ever and stacking up nicely. Due to weather changes recently I was able to keep lower over all temperatures and the humidity has increased slightly but it’s right where I want it (50% RH). Purple Lemonade is fading nicely and her colours are becoming more and more vibrant - she has about 2 weeks left. Terps are insane! All the other strains are happy as can be and also showing slight fade on leaves here and there. Very impressed with my Divine Seeds pheno’s and definitely recommend giving their strains a try very strong and easy to grow. Ethos Zweets literally smelling like candy canes. Dutch Passion Colorado cookies definitely giving off hues of a bakery. Overall it was a smooth week and I can’t wait for the smooth smoke! Organics is the easiest way to grow with minimal effort and great results. Shoutout to Green House Feeding Bio Line 😎

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT OTHER 10TH PLANET TO SEE IF IT PICKED UP AT ALL. IT DID. IM GLAD I CAME OVER TO CHECK THOUGH. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. THE OTHER 10TH PLANET LOOKS HORRIBLE O. FILM FROM ONE ANGLE LOL BUT ITS REALLY A GREAT LOOKING PLANT AND IM USUALLY FILMING AT LIKE 6AM. JIST WANTED TO STICK UP FORCMY GIRL AND HER BAD HAIR DAY. ITS BEEN HIT AND A FEW OF HER LEAVES ARE TACOED. SHE GOT HER FIRST "PREVENTATIVE" DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR WHICH WAS HALF A TSP/GALLON. IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE DOING SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER. EVERYTHING IS. IM HAVING TO LOOK HARDER AND AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LEAVES EFFECTED BY SEPTORIA. KNOCK ON WOOD. IM EXCITED. THIS IS GOING BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. IM STILL GOING TO BE MONITERING LIKE I USUALLY DO. 8/5 Watered the 10th planet I dodnt get yesterday. Looked and didn't see any sep leaves. Phone was dead so I vouldnt do a video. Went back over at like 130pm and did a quick video and checked out the girls. Everything is looking good and transitioning well. I WANT to use a diy Dr. Zymes with citric acid as I've noticed a few pillars. Only reason I've hesitated is because my buddy said not to spray it. But if what I spray it with "eats" it I would think it's ok. But what do I know. Birds get a great deal of them. I watch them on the camera sit on the cage and wait for one to stick it's head up before snatching it up. Still need to get either more grow big or a bloom product with nitrogen. I was able to defoliate that other 10th planet of anything suspect. It's hard work but it's worth it in the end. 8/6 It's like 81 at 4pm. I didn't have time to video this morning. WATERED EVERYTHING BUT THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET I GOT YESTERDAY. Temps are supposed to pick up soon and it will be in the 90's again. We've had like NO rain. I searched for leaves that had signs of sep to defoliate. I may find one or two but for the most part things are doing great. Overall I'm happy.

She is off to a great start. I sprouted her right in the rockwool in the DWC. Looking forward to see what we can make this lady do for us. My tent seems to work best with mature plants in the 36” range although my setup can handle 60” in height the width becomes an issue. I plan to flower her when she is about 16” tall.

This girl has been growing out of control in my tent I don't see her flowering very much not sure if she's a auto or a photo Plant i will continue to have an eye on he for now I had to tie her to a corner of the tent in order for her not to take over the entire space and is a plant that grows vigorously strong and it has a lovely smell White Widow skunk . An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing.
