Overall, an excellent strain that should be much more popular than it is at the moment.

Really easy to grow in hydroponics, doesn’t mind the odd PH swing out of range and handled mainlining absolutely fine, the inter-nodal spacing tight, maybe a little too tight for people who don’t defoliate...

She did struggle with root rot from late veg and throughout the bloom cycle which I think hurt yields, but that’s okay, I have switched to silver bullet in future and will reduce the organics I use.

More importantly, she produced mostly rock hard, beautiful flavoursome flowers with tangerine coloured pistols, tasting like acidic citrus candy with a really nice uplifting high with a back stroking, comforting feeling.

Don’t let the low THC level put you off, she is the gift that keeps on giving when put into the vape bowl, getting noticeably more draws than other ‘stronger strains’ like Blackberry Moon Rock and Royal Gorilla.

The high lasts for a good while as well, a quick come up, but one that levels out and remains for over an hour before slowly drifting back, just in time for another toke.

Works fine :ok_hand:

Decided against using this in a big way, as I got root rot I didn’t want to add more organics to the system.

All worked fine as always. The Hydroguard let me down a bit though, got root rot throughout the grow (I later realised) and have switched to Silver Bullet Roots with significant success.

Lights

Great light, really lightweight so it’s easy to move up and down - decent yield with it too, which I think would have been better if I didn’t have root rot.

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage.

Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows.

The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures).

I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture).

Thanks for those of you who followed along most of the way, good luck with all your grows!

Amazing setup and grow, Xtra classy, impressed with that monster trunk, and I like the whole fruit picking by tricrome method, may have to try it myself if its needed and I have the patience. Great Job, Unbelievably well done. I am a bit curious which method you use for hash, In any case, thanks for sharing.

@DrinkyCrow, thank you for your nice comment, I used dry ice and a 220 micron bubble bag

Those trunks! Looks like you took the antlers off a reindeer! Congrats again on another stellar run. :ok_hand:

Canopy management is something I need to rethink as well. When I look at my current run of Purps it makes me want to smack my head. She is sooo scraggly beneath the top of the canopy - she really got away from me. Oh well. There should be plenty of fodder for my hash/butter bucket as well.

All the best with your clones and your next grow.

@StunFlower, thanks Stun, cheers for your support

Canopy management is a tough one. All we can do is improve with every grow - I think using less light during veg so they can stretch a bit more (if vertical space is okay) is the best solution, it seems to be working on my current crop, will be interested to see the final results

Do you have a trimbag or another DIY method of hash collection?! Teach me.

I have the older 100w Migro cob. Buying the new 120w Array next week. Nice to see a good grower showing what the light can do.
Great job!

Nice grow..I've checked out all 4 of your journals..very impressive...if you don't mind me asking..what size is your grow tent? And also, I've seen you use different lights..which one did you like the best? Its seems like royal gorilla was your biggest yielder

@Stash074 - thank you very much, has been a steep learning curve! 6x4 is the grow space, in terms of overall value for money the Geekbeast lights are probably the best, for form factor and quality, Migro wins but they are more expensive :+1: Royal G is best yielder but the bud quality wasn’t as good due to my poor management :ok_hand: take care
