Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Day 29 - Things going along nicely .... i trimmed down some of the bigger bottom leaves, i didn't have enough soil to fill the pots, and the plants are short, bushy, weird little things, that filled out the inside of the pots..... they are only 15cm tall, but the leaves are 10+ cm .... really weird little plants.... haha.... i decided to trim the fk out of one of the ones in the double pot, and practiced topping on her.... i'll cut her down maybe trimmer her of the pot, and focus on just the 2........ they seem to be still growing upwards, so i'm not in a hurry to put em into flower mode......... on the main one i noticed some neut deficiencies ... so i upped the neuts.... should be ok, i put a good heavy neut and it stopped the spots etc..... i think some bug or something got in the double pot and is livin in there, but he doesn't eat much, haha....... the main stalks are as big as my thumb and under each canopy is all the branches..... it's really strange, to go in under all the growth and see it all .... they look kinda small, but the entire under canopy of leaves is all full .... i'm moving the huge sized leaves out and pulling each branch up over them as they grow..... this is 21 THC and 19 CBD, so it's all the good stuff for medicine ... the smell is getting abit noticable and i'm hoping the exhaust fan arrives from china soon.... just got positive ventilation into a carbon fil. ... and daily air out........ i think i had the led lights too low..... so i'll raise em abit more and see if i can get em to stretch .... Day 30 -- added some video's...... daylight vids... worth watchin for a laugh ...... first grow, so idk what i'm doin, ... any help/comments appreciated Day 32 -- added some pics of the late night trim and LST,... idk looks ok.... Day #31: As I was a little bit busy with other things the last few days, I didn't have the time to update my diarie on day #30. Tuesday I got a nice surprise delivered from Lientec LED lights, they sent me three led strips as addition for my growroom. Two led strips have 660nm red leds an one led strip has 385-405nm UVA leds on it. Which means in blooming phase I can add more red light, which is positive for bud development. But also the UVA light is positive for THC development. Research has found out that UVA led light, in the right wavelength, is capable if uplifting the THC development with max 5%. That is in very optimized conditions. If all goes well a little bit, I might be investing in two more led bars with red and UVA light in the future... In the meantime the little buds are growing nicely, all plants show signs of good growth, so this week I will be slowly adding some bloom nutrients towards the end of the week. In week 6 I want to start with only bloom nutrients beside the FloraMicro nutrients. Also I'm adding CalMag once a week... Day #33: I added some FloraBloom nutrients, but forgot to mention last update. I'm going to change slowly from only FloraGrow as second nutrient, to FloraBloom as second nutrient next to FloraMicro. This weekend, I'm going to change the Fan, because the fan I'm using right now isn't capable of keeping temperature as I like it. But further one, everything is going very good. Flowers are growing pretty nice, I think the extra red LED light is doing it's job perfectly. After this week, I still got about five weeks to go until harvest. UVA light will be added slowly around the end of week 7. I need to build that up slowly, because the plants are not used to the UV light and if I start with 18 hours UV light right away, they probably will get overstressed and my harvest will be killed... All electric has been reset, so I can use an extra timer within the 18 hours of light for the UVA led strip. Day #35: I decided to start using the UVA light tomorrow, at the start of week 6. Slowly building up the hours of usage. First days I will be adding 1 hour ov UVA light, and then I will start multiplying the hours, until I'm at 12 hours a day. The plants are flowering pretty well in the meantime, next week I will be adding more bloom nutrients and less grow nutrients, but I will still be adding some grow nutrients, to make sure some nutrients still will be available for the plants. Als I will be starting to add Silicium once a week, as the temperature is getting a bit high and the new fan is still not here... So to avoid heat stress, Silicium will be added onze a week until the new fan will get temperature as I want it to be...

Pheeew... another intense training week is gone, and as I was thinking the past week the baby is a girl and started flowering already at around day 25, which I pretty early but considering all the stress of the 3 transplant and the massive LST it's acceptable. After reporting her in the final 20 Lt pot, no stress was encountered although and she start stretching pretty fast as plants do on preflowering. I introduced blooming nuts as soon as I saw pistols and everything now I'd going pretty smoothly. I'll give her the last 10 days of heavy LST and then I'll leave her doing her things. For now it's all, stay tuned, stay high!

Tough going first few weeks going to look close on the postmortem for the roots and see if I can tell what was causing the issues with Phos, Ca, Mg lockouts. Foliar saved the day Was very disappointed in the germination rate which caused delays in grow cycle and threw off my whole grow system. It forced me into 7 gallon pots to try and save the yield and THAT may be where the issues arose with the pots, I had to use another bin of soil for the extra soil. Still I should have known better and just stuck with the 5 gallon pots but was trying to get yield. Worked too on Layla and Maggie, nothing was going to help the stunting on Brandy which I dropped from the grow. So 60% germination is not acceptable unless its tomatoes... Dont get me wrong though, this strain has a LOT of good qualities, it not only survived my foul up but produced one excellent plant and one monster out of the three that germed. May try it again next year, think it would be stellar in coco. Beyond that a quality product, just had issues. Bumped the feeding up and still feeding pretty much everyday. Feeding now until there is about 20% runoff. Also started LST this week honestly could have probably been started a week earlier.

It was a fairly busy week for this fine lady. No one likes their lady too bushy, right, 😉 so I have been cleaning up lower growth every 2-3 days as of late. I also put her in a 20 gallon pot this week and that was a bigger challenge then I anticipated 😅😅. First I had to get her untied. Then I didn’t quite get her tied down as well as I had her in the 10 gallon pot but she is still nicely laid out IMO. I may have to adjust how she is tied down in the weeks to come as these genetics can really stretch out!! Stay tuned 😎🍿🍻🌱
