All done with the growing, now time for the long arduous harvest 😸🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️✨. Started the harvest on day 63 of flower, I’ve not just checked their trichomes with a loop or anything, but I’m happy with how they look. The smell is very intense. Slightly worrying in all honesty 👀 filter is really struggling, contemplating getting out my spare extractor fan&filter just while it all drys. Maybe two filters will scrub the smell completely. It’s a lovely smell, Sour Tangy Sherb, but now an extremely heavy gassy wall of smell has permeated everything. Pretty much all the buds have turned purple, just a few of the lowers are a pale green, but that’s to be expected. I’m in the process of cutting them all up into individual branches, giving them a quick wet trim, then hanging them on hangers. I’m aiming for around 10 days drying, then a final trim and into jars for curing. This was the final run of the MotorOG, it’s been a fun strain to run 😸 another decent one from LIT Farms. Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

Last week for these 3 remaining Runtzz I flushed them 4 days ago with flawless finish they had 2 feeds of flawless so far 1 more and then we chop them on Tuesday. Will be doing 10-15 days drying in a 3x3. Looking very frosty all 3 of these now orange hairs all curled and looks like they have packed out really well! The smell when you open the tent is heaven!! Old school bud smells! The journey is nearly fully complete! 😎😎😎😎 Will post harvest pics of these 3 on the next update! 12/05/25 Last 3 have been chopped and are now drying

Smells and tastes awesome. The 3 week veg + 1 gal pots resulted in small yield. Otherwise great first try.

Lamp has changed. Veg stage is on, so 600W lamp is placed to be in the tent and the watering is 2 x 15 ml 2 x a day so 30 ml water per plant. Ventilation goes on at the same time like the lamp does. These girls grow so fast. They started smelling as well. Light schedule is 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Ventilation is the same hours when the lamp is on the ventilation is on as well. When lamp is off I leave the ventilation on 15 min more. Fertilization will start also on Monday, Wednesday, Friday the same amount of water with bat guano mix. I will be back after 2 weeks from my holiday.

I wasn't impressed with the bud structure on the herercane a few weeks ago but I have changed my mind. She has some fat frosty buds and she is going to pack some weight. Lowered the temps to 72. Going to keep the juice pumping

11/16/2020 She's growing, roots are nice and healthy, so time for flowering. Switching to 11-14 and flower dose will start today. Full bucket switch to Grow, Micro, Bloom flower week one Raised level of water to 16 liters just touching mesh pot, she used about 1/2 her water (6liters) And do not want her to go hungry lol

So far so good, changed the fan in the tent, Gotta make a better mount for it before i have it oscillating. Not sure if im gonna get those long dense colas yet or not, Its starting to fill in pretty nice so far tho

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations.
