Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Had a little stretch due to heat and had to higher lights. Bud gaining now day 21 today in flower happy where they are done alittle trimming of some fans blocking bud sites.

week 28/4 - 5/5

3rd flower week complete. I cant help but think I've ruined one of the 2 girls. Shes taking a really long time to recover and bud growth is slow and steady. I've defoliated for about an hour and a half tonight and now really need to get some sleep! I'll pop back tomorrow with lots more photos and a more in depth update on what has changed this week. Update........ so ive been caring for the burnt up plant throughout the week. Shes not gotten any worse but just seems a little stressed now. I decided to remove the worst of the burnt and dried up leaves last night. I know it will also cause stress but I didn't want the rotting leaves to cause any bacteria growth around the healthy plants. They've been on everyday waterings at around 1.6 EC. I've included some Hygrowzyme in the last few feeds in the hope some beneficial enzymes may help the root zone take on nutrients. Despite one of the pair being unwell the other is healthy and vigorous. Shes not getting the attention she rightly deserves so I've included lots of photos to this weeks diary. I wouldn't want anyone to be put off from growing this strain as it has so much potential. I'm hoping that the healthy plant produces the goods and leaves me wanting more.

Que pasa familia, aquí andamos que vamos actualizar una semana más Fumándonos un troncho de haribo con Rosin de Le Xupet Negre . Mientras tanto os comento ya en la recta final de estas Red Cookies Gelato, siendo sinceros están muy pepinas y bien resinadas, los cogollos van muy tricomados y están súper hinchados, pero comento también que la variedad no es del todo estable, es algo complicada tienes que estar pendiente de ellas cada día observar que no salga un macho porque de 100 plantas habrán salido 3 machos y alguna hermafrodita , son frágiles. Fue mi primer proyecto de cruce que aún así dentro de ser el primero a salido demasiado bien porque no esperaba ni resultados positivos pero ahí están y toda la gente que la probó, todos los que se molestaron en conocerla o interesarse por ella se agradece ,porque todos habláis muy bien de ella aún siendo así de frágil, se agradece y valora mucho vuestra opinión, Fieras. Voy hacer estrés hídrico, cada vez regaré menos cantidad para que no se mueran las plantas pero si dejen de comer de las raíces de la parte de abajo, aparte van amarilleando las hojas más rápido y mientras terminan de madurar. Hasta aquí es toda la semana y casi todo el cultivo como quien dice, así que buenos humos y hasta la semana que viene 💨💨💨

It's week 01 Day 02 Of 12/12 For My 02 Kombucha Cream By atlasseed . And For My Snow White & SpliffStrawberry By Spliff Seeds Amsterdam . So Yesterday All 4 Lady's Received there Transition Feed. And Prep For Flower. The Kombucha Cream 3-Part And Snow White. Received 4ml Of Emerald Harvest Nutrients Grow, Micro,Bloom,6ml of Emerald Goddess, 4ml Of King Kola, 4ml of Honey Chome And 4ml of Quad.AG Products Fulonic. pH at 6.3 ppm at 766. On Runoff. My Kombucha Cream 3-Part as a pH of 6.5 and ppm at 932. My Snow White as a pH of 6.4 and ppm is at 723. The Kombucha 2-Part and SpliffStrawberry Received 5ml of Emerald Harvest Cali Pro Grow A&B,6ml Emerald Goddess, 4ml King Kola,4ml Honey Chome And 4ml Of Quad.AG Fulonic. I pH the Kombucha Cream 2-Part at 6.2 Ppm at 613. On Runoff pH is at 6.3 ppm is at 833. My SpliffStrawberry I pH at 6.5 the pH was a little low on my last feed. Ppm is at 613 l. On Runoff pH is at 6.0 ppm is at 756. I like a pH of 6.2 in Flower I will work on getting the pH at 6.2 on the next few feeds.The Plants are really Loving Life Very happy and Perky This Morning. I am happy to announce a new beginning! This time there will be new genetics and seed banks that I haven't tried so far, so I'm very curious to see how it will turns out!🤞🏻☺️ Also it will be the second round for my beloved Runtz Muffin that i promised to bring it back.😁 Now I just need to wait until these seeds will go for 18 hours in a glass with water and then I will transfer them to the paper towel to make them germinate properly and finalize the process in their pots once the sprout stretches by at least 2-3 cm. ☮️💚 Happy growing and positive vibes to everyone 🙌🏻💚 ⚠️ 16-05-21 UPDATE ⚠️ Today i put these little girls into their 1L pots. This is my side-grow. I do have 2 girls in flower, but I wanted to fill my room, and I started these as soon as I could. This is my first time (Well second, counting the flowering girls) growing in coco, and I still not all sure what I do, but I will try my best to do right, and learn from this. I am using RO water. The girls are on day 22, and everything seems to go good. I see they are dark green and are going to lay down on the nutrients on the next feed. The girls have been topped around day 12, and later done LST Day 24: Decided to do some more LST on these girls. Girls are growing strong, and looks healthy, other than they are a little dark greenish Day 26: The dark green leaves are getting worse. They are almost shining, and I'm sure I have a Nitrogen toxicity. I think I mad a bum-bum, giving my babies the nutrient water for my grown-ups 😱, so I have given them a good flush with ph 6.0~ RO water, and let them dry out, before giving them a light-mix, and hopefully this will do the trick as they are still growing strong 💪

2/4/24 - Day 90 - Hello and happy water change day! For sure on the back half of the grow. She's getting bigger everyday! The buds as growing and getting more dense. 2/6/24 - Day 92 - GTFOut of here. She's not showing any signs of distress yet, she's still hulking! Those apples are getting bigger by the day! 2/9/24 - Day 95 - Hello all! Everything is going so good. The buds are getting bigger and the smell is honestly CRAZY. The box does a great job of keeping the smell low. But as soon as you open the box get ready. The whole block is smelling this for sure. I posted a video of me swapping out the D nutrient. It's such an easy process it takes more time to unbox the nutrients than it takes to install them. It's about 5 maybe 5.5 seconds to install. Watch the video to see the process! 2/10/24 - Day 96 - The trichomes are starting to get much more cloudy. Still not a lot of amber. She still is not showing any signs of going dead. Her leafs still look really green/purple.
