Well gang........this is freaking boring.........nothing growing for three weeks😜😜
Lets get another auto run in before the summer months👍
Everyone loves a good Cookie grow.........lets see what we can do😁😁
From their Website:
Grow Tips
Experienced growers can definitely think about some LST with this strain, thanks to her good internodal spacing, allowing better light penetration. An overall easy going plant, still we strongly recommend to check pH levels in water, making sure it stays around 6.5 as to not risk damaging or stunting the plants growth. Growers will see a final bulky swell in the final weeks of maturation.
Should fit my grow style well. Would consider a SCROG but with an her being an auto we will leave it to LST........going to grow two of these girls this run👍💪👊🤞🧐🙏
*************** Germination Week - April 4 to 10, 2020 **********************
Coco pots buffered with AN SensiCal at 1.5 times the label. Has a 4% Nitrogen which I like in this instance. Also added 1ml/L of Piranha and 0.75ml/L of Vitathrive. Ph RO water to 5.8. Ran 8L water through each pot. Allowed to dry for two days.
The girls cracked about the same time, formed roots about the same, and were put into coco at the same time. One came up within the first 18 hours and henceforth shall be known as “GSC’👍😃 The second girl was about 18 hours behind the first coming out of the medium and shall henceforth be known as “GSC2”👍😃
I don’t add anything to the water in the glass jar nor the paper towel.....plain RO.....no pH adjust either.
Place on a seed mat with temp set to 79 degrees. Both steps of water and paper towel.
Usual notion of let the towel stay wet but not running water from plate. Check every 6 hours and add as needed to bring back to same. Find I always need to add water when using the mat.
Had better success when I don’t rush the tap root length and wait for it to come out fully. When I have rushed and put into medium with just her moist little tongue sticking out I have had increased failures.
When putting the seed into the whole I add 1 ml of Piranha straight, dropping it in the bottom of the whole and the sides. Cover with the moisture from the paper towel only by squeezing in your hands over the seeds.
Next day feed with water mixed with 2ml/L each of Piranha and Voodoo Juice, pH water to 5.8.
Apr 4 - Into RO water.
Apr 5 - Into paper towel.
Apr 6 - Into coco coir.
Apr 7 - wait :(
Apr 8 - One is above the soil :) ........one more to go.
Apr 9 - Both out.....👍
Apr 10 - last day of germination. They are both out standing up nicely now.
Moving right along😃 Keep acting like that and you just might be done at 70 days girl!!!!

***************** Week 1 of Growth From Seed, April 11 to 17, 2020 - Days 1 to 7 from germination **********************
*
Okay, we are off running now. Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍
Two girls this run and now have a GSC and a GSC2 this run. GSC was chosen for the first to break the surface and while the second GSC to come up is now GSC2, she was actually the third to break the surface. Excited to run this strain from Fast Buds.......there are newer strains but sometimes a classic is good😃
Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!!
*****Daily Detail:
Apr 11, Day 1:
- VPD - 1.2
- 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp)

- Both ladies up and proud to be alive this afternoon.
- Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting.
- Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now.
Dual Fuel line, base nutes from Green Planet. Anyone reduce part 1 relative to part 2 in flower? Negative effects or only positive? Kept equal ratio last run and not unhappy but considering change . Very high nitrogen! AN Sensi Grow prior. Cheers Growmies👍😀🙏
You can increase the B amount to have more PK than N. But be careful about the cal mag and trace elements , if They are in the A bottle you can have many issues by changing the dosage

***************** Week 2 of Growth From Seed, April 18 to 25, 2020 - Days 8 to 14 from germination **********************
*
Getting rolling on week 2. The two girls are doing well. GSC2 was named as such due to being slower than the other pheno but she is now advancing faster with respect to her third set of leaves😃😃👍 This are the fist couple of weeks of veg.......not overly exciting. Each girl only has 4 to 6 leaves.......what the hell are you supposed to do😂😂😂😂😂😂 Focusing on environmental changes this week......not too radical though, they are still autos with only three weeks of veg time, roughly👍
Switch CalMag this week and going with GH as it has a 1% value for Nitrogen. Will be increasing the CalMag now as well. Will be getting ppm in the 500 range more this week. May start to introduce AN Sensyzime this week.
Keep moving the lights up and down trying to dial in between 18” and 30” and see how they react. Seems to be about 24” right now they are happy.
Playing with the VPD and finding that they are not as happy with the VPD up around 1.0 and rather happier around 1.4??? (lower humidity keeping same heat) Happier meaning tips up more and in general looking like they are getting bigger. Played with humidity this weekend as well between 52% and 75%. Again, they seem happiest around 58%..........going to try that for a couple of days and see how they grow for the next few days. I feel they are all a little slower at the high humidity when coming closer to 1.0 for VPD. Not backing away from this but rather trying to read the girls as I am used to🤪🤪🤪🤪
*****Daily Detail:
Apr 18, Day 9
- VPD - 1.1
- 2L feed with Vitathrive and Velokelp and Dual Fuel @ 0.75ml/L, CaMg+ @ 0.75ml/L = 575ppm, 5.8pH.
- playing with humidity up and down today.
- ready for a plain water feed and a little larger quantity to soak all the medium.
- not sure if tomorrow though.......might be a little wet yet in the medium.
- GSC is doing well but GSC2 is the one that has really picked up the last two days😃😃😃
Apr 19, Day 9
- VPD - 1.3
- 2L watering today with CaMg and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L each. 240ppm with 5.9pH.
- Had more runoff, that was the goal. Didn't bother to measure this though.
- Just trying to bring the medium pH in line and reduce some of the ppm.
- Things just aren't progressing as I think they should.
Apr 20, Day 10
- VPD 1.5
- dry out day
- lower humidity in tent to 55%
Apr 21, Day 11
- VPD 1.5
- dry out day, again. Humidity kept low.
- Added home made CO2 to the tent today.
- GSC 3.0" tall, and GSC2 2.5" tall only.
- GSC has wider leaves and nice star shape from above.
- GSC2 has more elongated leaves and is covering more of the pot.
Apr 22, Day 12
- VPD 1.4
- Dry out day yet again but now raising the humidity back to 65%.
- tips back up today.
Apr 23, Day 13
- VPD 1.4
- 0.5L - P & V & Vitathrive @ 1ml/L, DF & CalMag@ 0.5ml/L = 410ppm and 5.9pH
- primarily calmag and something for roots.
- GSC is getting wider indica looking leaves. She is still slower than 2 but looks very pretty in structure.
- GSC2 has some narrow blades. All of her leaves are really up today….she is very happy.
Apr 24, Day 14
- VPD 1.4
- 0.5L - Voodoo and Piranha and VeloKelp @ 2ml/L = 180ppm pH'd to 5.6
- tough week.......they battled over watering as a result of some over feeding last week.
*
********* Week 3, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination **********
*
So we have been chugging along and doing well. Keeping the feeds in check and not given any waterings over 6.0pH before this week. By mid week when checking runoff numbers found they were flipping 7.2pH!!!!!! What is shooting up the numbers so high?? They were given some Epsom salt and not sure if they have been given too much magnesium. Wondering if it could be the pots? Watering patterns have not changed? Cut slits in the bottom of all the fabric pots to help with drainage and see if moisture is sitting in the bottom of the pot causing issues with pH???
They are doing well but not at the same time.....GSC girls seem a little show in veg growth at this stage.
Little more detail.......
April 25/20 - Day 15
- Mixed 1L of water with Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 700ppm and 6.0pH.
- each girl given 0.5L feed.
- humidity a little low at 52% and bumping up to 65%
- light heights at 30” roughly right now.
- GSC outer edges of leaves getting a little light.
- GSC2 is forming a nice structure and new leaves are wider.
April 26/20 - Day 16
- no real growth and the girls don’t look happy.......not sure of the issue?
- mixed 2L water with Sensi CalMag @ 1.5ml. Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1/4 tsp/L
- GSC fighting magnesium deficiency so adding Epsom Salt,
- increased light intensity a bit today.
April 27/20 - Day 17
- dry out day
- think the root zone is holding too much moisture and causing pH issue.
- cut long slits in the bottom of the pots to let moisture run out faster/easier.
- GSC has liked the increased lighting.
- all the girls got clockwise rotation today.
April 28/20 - Day 18
- Girl Scout girls given 3L watering with Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml = 100ppm and 5.1pH
- runoff numbers:
- GSC - 600ppm and 7.2pH
- GSC2 - 475ppm and 7.2pH
- pH is still too high!!!!
- leaf colours on all the girls look good😳
April 29/20 - Day 19
- more runoff numbers to look at
- Mixed 8L for each girl with Dual Fual @ 1.75ml - 325ppm and 5.0pH........each girl given this amount!!!!
- Run off numbers:
- GSC - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 525ppm
- GSC2 - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 500ppm
- now we see if the flush will help in the next couple of days.
April 30/20 - Day 20
- dry out day
- stems are looking thicker today. All nodes are separating and they are growing.......slowly though.
May 1/20 - Day 21
- dry out day again
- need to let the pots dry out in order to adjust the pH further.
- they are looking taller and happier today.
Sorry for running behind gang. Always so much to stay on top of😀........
Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination*********
Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage????
I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock.
GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍
GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞
Little more detail.........
May 2/20 - Day 22
- 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH
- runoff numbers:
- GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH
- GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH
- why so high damn it??
May 3/20 - Day 23
- 6L mixed with Vitathrive, VeloKelp, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo @ 1ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH
- 3L given to each girl.
- GSC girls have perked up the last three days.
- GSC2 is getting wider but not taller.
- Runoff numbers:
- GSC - 725ppm and 6.9pH
- GSC2 - 650ppm and 6.8pH
- thinking that cheap fabric pots are the issue with high pH I am going to transplant two of the four girls into plastic pots and see how that goes.
- GSC transplant went well.
- GSC2 transplant not so well.......she caught the edge coming out of the old pot and her root mass became all twisted😞😞😞
May 4/20 - Day 24
- dry out day and leave them alone after being so shook up yesterday.
May 5/20 - Day 25
- gave a small plain water feed of 2L each with ph to 5.0
- water and left them alone again today.
May 6/20 - Day 26
- Feed day again. 1.5L each for each girl with Dual Fuel, Vitathrive @ 1ml, CalMag, VeloKelp @ 0.5ml = 675ppm and 5.1pH
- the girls are working through it......just give them time.
May 7/20 - Day 27
- simple feed today with VeloKelp @ 1ml and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH
- each girl given 1L.
- GSC is looking like she is fighting back and starting to see her increase in size.
- GSC2 is also coming along because her dying leaves are also starting to perk up.
- Did some some stem twisting on GSC to help strengthen her stock.
May 8/20 - Day 28
- Dry out day
- The girls are doing well with the Kelp and while they are not much bigger they look healthier!
- GSC2 low branches are not sitting in soil anymore👍
Cheers Growmies........have a great week!!!!!
*
********* Week 5, May 9 to 15, 2020 - Days 29 to 35 from germination **********
*
We are calling this week 1 of flower. Definite signs of preflower on the girls. They are doing well in overcoming the transplant into plastic pots. The pH is still a concern and messing things up from a nice normal feeding pattern.
They are nice and green though and will work through this all because they are healthy overall. They are a fair bit larger at the end of the week than they were at the start of the week😀
GSC flushed hard at the start of the week to help combat the pH which is still high. She was given over 40L to help lower.
Sorry Fast Buds.......grower not setting this one on fire😞
Little more detail coming.......
May 9/20 - Day 29
- 2L given to each girl with Massive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag, Piranha, Voodoo, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1ml = 1000ppm and 5.1pH
- Runoff numbers today:
- GSC - 330ppm and 7.2pH
- GSC2 - 335ppm with 7.2pH
- the pH is not coming down as I expected.....WTF?????
- flushed GSC in evening
- GSC given first 18L at 5.6pH and next 16L at 4.7pH
- run off only came down to 6.2 with 100ppm
May 10/20 - Day 30
- 2L feeding for GSC girl with VeloKelp, Vitathrive @ 2ml, CalMag, Dual Fuel, Piranha @ 1ml = 650ppm and 4.4pH
- let the pH low in feed as well,
- GSC is 7” tall now.
- GSC2 was not fed.
May 11/20 - Day 31
- each girl given 1.5L of feed with VeloKellp, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 900ppm and 4.3pH
- GSC2 has been a couple of days so she soaked up all the water. She is perky today....not bigger though
- GSC is getting taller adn wider. He is looking really wide today.
May 12/20 - Day 32
- dry out day
- left them alone today
May 13/20 - Day 33
- day out day
- pots are still heavy.
- giving them a second day off.
May 14/20 - Day 34
- mixed 7L water with Massive @ 3m, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rhino Skin, CalMag @ 1ml = 1075ppm and 5.3pH.
- GSC was given 4L - runoff was 275ppm and 6.5pH
- GSC2 was given 3L - runoff was 300ppm and 6.5pH
- Things seem to be okay with the numbers.........pH is still a little high though.
- GSC had lower growth trimmed to clean her up.
- Starting silica today with Rhino Skin to help firm up the branches.
- GSC2 is very small and she is set over to one side of the pot........no LST needed😂
May 15/20 - Day 35
- dry out day
- tips are not up 100% so we keep working at it👍😃
***** Week 6 May 16 to 22, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination *****
Calling this a flower week but it certainly is more of transition week.
Been battling a busy life along with pH issues this grow. Starting to get both under control😃
These girls were transplanted into 3 gal plastic pots after battling pH issues and unable to bring down below 7.1 until cut out of fabric pots.........piss off!!!
Cheap fabric pots from Amazon are a thing of the past!!!! 😡😡😡 Ordering Radical bags👍
During transplant GSC2 took it hard. She got twisted coming out of the old pot and it was a bit of a disaster😢..........GSC went very well and her root mass stayed together.😃
GSC2 is a freak and I am learning more from her. Growing out almost sideways from the pot. Keeping an eye on the main stem to ensure she doesn’t start to rot at the soil level........may trim off a couple of more branches. Her root mass won’t be very big so think I will take more branches and let her focus on building the density of a few bud sites rather than spreading a little to several sites.
LST introduced this week as well.
Started the introduction of Rezin and Terpinator now.
Little more detail..........
May 16/20 - Day 36
- 2L each girl of Massive @ 3ml, VeloKelp, Rezin, @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1000ppm and 4.5pH
- stop lower the pH as much next feeds. 5.5 idea now and see how they react. I really want 6.2 going in!!!!😞
- GSC2 is concern as she took the transplant poorly with her whole root mass being flipped over and on top of herself.
May 17/20 - Day 37
- Mixed 3L water with Massive @ 2.5ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag @ 1ml = 1050ppm and 5.5pH
- GSC given 2L and GSC2 only 1L.
- giving them more microbes and beneficials next couple of feeds with more Piranha and Voodoo again.
- stripped more leaves today. GSC2 took more lower stuff as well.,,.....so bushy on the bottom.
May 18/20 - Day 38
- mixed 3.5L water with Massive @ 3ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml = 850ppm and 5.7pH
- checked some runoff numbers today......
- GSC runoff was 400ppm and 5.8pH.
- GSC2 runoff was 550ppm and 6.2pH
- PH is back in line!!!!!!🙌🙌
- GSC is coming along but her branches are not as thick as I would like. Side branches are getting longer.
- GSC2 is a mess in general😀 She is shooting out fan leaves and they leaves are getting bigger but she is not getting any bigger??
- LST day today and GSC had some branches pulled down. Leaving GSC2 for now.,
May 19/20 - Day 39
- dry out day
- just left them alone today😃
May 20/20 - Day 40
- 2L each girl of water with Rhino skin, CalMag, Sensyzime @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 650ppm and 6.1pH
- there was some runoff from GSC2 only.
- girls look happy overall today.
May 21/20 - Day 41
- 3L water mixed with Rezin and Terpinator @ 1.5ml = 160ppm and 5.7pH
- was going to be a plain water feed but changed last minute and its time for Terpinator.
- the girls are not overly happy today.....not sure why
- all girls seem to be responding well to the LST over last couple of days.
May 22/20 - Day 42
- dry out day
- Both girls still trying to set bud sites but no success yet.
*
********* Week 7 - May 23 to 29, 2020 - Day 43 to 49 **********
*
Good veg week but was expecting more of a flower week😒 Pulled them out and did some stripping. Buds not setting and these two girls are not flipping like the other autos on the go. Patience not being one of my strong suits, in the past I moved plants around into lower light intensity and it helped them to set their buds.
These girls bud sites were not setting in early this week so the girls were put into the veg tent and put into a 12/12 light cycle, Wednesday Day 47. They stayed this way the rest of the week. The other girls are well on their way and these two girls are not coming along. Forcing them to set their buds into 12/12 becuase they all flower at that point😃 I could work on being patient and give them another week or two as some strains just take that long...........45 days though for these girls and most flip by this time.
Other than my lack of patience the growth is doing well and GSC is doing well and growing out of her funk from the transplant more. Looking rather odd with the roots wrapping over her.......poor girl......we will love her and look after her and in the end smoke the shit out of her frosty buds😂😂😂
Little more detail........
May 23/20 - Day 43
- GSC feed only - 5L with Velokelp, Massive @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Sensyzime @ 1ml = 750ppm and 5.9pH
- GSC has some hairs popping out over night. She is looking healthy today.
- GSC2 is fighting it all. She has been though a lot. She is taller now and wider but her bud sites “floppy” looking and pistols not plentiful yet.
May 24/20 - Day 44
- dry out day
- Moved GSC girls into Veg tent today
- problem is the humidity is only 50% and temp is only 73 degrees.
May 25/20 - Day 45
- water in the morning.....did a leaf strip int he afternoon......an evening watering with Vitamin B to calm them down a bit.
- 7:30am - 2L each with Sensyzime, Piranha, rhino skin, Rezin @ 1.5ml = 335ppm and 5.9pH
- the microbes and enzymes😃👍
- 8:30pm - 2L each with Vitathrive & VeloKelp @ 1.5ml = 350ppm and 5.8pH
- got some seaweed in there as well to calm them down........4L total in one day is not over doing it and with such low ppm.
- GSC is much thinner in appearance now.
- GSC2 is tough to do much. Stripped some inner growth but just need her to get bigger overall in order to clean her up properly.
May 26/20 - Day 46
- dry out day.
- GSC was moved back into the flower tent last night. Just give her the time she needs to transition,
- Left GSC2 in veg tent alone for now.
- GSC is 17” tall and GSC2 is still at 11” range.
May 27/20 - Day 47
- feed day for only GSC
- she was given 3L with Bud Ignitor @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Piranha @ 1ml = 875ppm and 6.0pH
- GSC2 was still heavy to lift.
- Moved GSC back into the veg tent and set the light cycle at 12/12 to ensure she flips.
- GSC2 is looking stagnant.
May 28/20 - Day 48
- GSC2 needs watering as its been two days.
- 2L given with Massive @ 4ml. Vitathrive, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 1350ppm and 6.0pH.
- added another 0.5L of water to bring down the ppm to 1100........was too high.
- GSC is looking a little more relaxed today. No bud sites yet.....only one night though,
- GSC2 is looking more like she is transitioning though😀
- Will give them a couple of days at the reduced light cycle.
May 29/20 - Day 49
- dry out day
- girls still in veg tent under same light cycle.
- feel like GSC has grown bigger but no bud sites yet,
*
********* Week 8 - May 30 to June 5, 2020 - Day 50 to 56 **********
*
Getting caught up on pictures.........
Bud sites finally set in this week and the girls are in full flower now. They have been switched back to 18/6 light cycle as well........they spent 4 nights at 12/12 so I didn’t want to push it further and risk low productivity in 12/12 or her being overly stressed coming back to 18/6 after too long so it was time to switch back. GSC is staying in her own tent now.....she is too big to go back in with the other girls. I have to order a couple of things to make it work but feel that is the best answer. GSC2 went back into the flower tent with the others and just put her on several risers to bring canopy up. The girls need some leaves removed here and there but there are actually very few leaves in the big picture so I am very reluctant to remove too many.
The girls seemed to grow smaller leaves and bud sites are smaller right now. Lots of branch on GSC but I am not looking to grow branches😃Branches stiffened up more this week and have been working a little more silica into her feed. Strong stock = big yield👍 GSC has been feeding hard this week. She is having no issues going through 3L a day of feed. GSC2 is being fed the same right now and she is also stiffening up and looking more “perky” all the time......forming into a cannabis plant more now🤞GSC2 has done so well with her bad transplant and growing out of the pot almost sideways......she is a fighter!!!
Stay the course for now and get the second environment dialled in for the big girl!!!
Little more detail........
May 30/20 - Day 50

- GSC2 is put on milk crate to raise her up a bit and some more light on her.
June 5/20 - Day 56
- dry out day
- GSC didn’t look as happy today as I would have thought?
- GSC2 on the other hand is firming up and looking a lot more like a plant in flower now👍
Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination
The two girl are sure opposites of each other in how this grow is turning out😂😂👍 GSC2 didn’t get a good transplant and she has really suffered for it........add in that both of them were battling high pH in first weeks and thus the reason for the transplant from the fabric pots into plastic.......she is actually hanging in there and this week progressed well. GSC on the other hand I just have to put into her own tent!!!! She is too freaking big!!!!! I can’t fit her in with the other flowering girls and have any success at the grow👍💪👊😉 The environment is not where it needs to be though for flower so added another humidity controller and smaller full spectrum light to bump up to 300 watt range in the veg/flower tent now. Had limited choice with a limited budget and needed it now. I could go through more fooling around for only roughly 3 more weeks before others are done and could combine the plants.......good excuse though to have increased flexibility going forward😉😉😉👍
Feed amount have been as expected with GSC taking 4L most days while GSC2 is more of 2.5L range when feeding. Have noticed they are taking more water in the taller 3 gallon plastic pots. That is a lot of bottles listed but they are never fed that all at once. That is just a full list of products used this week and the dosage in that feed. I have been holding the feed numbers around 1000 ppm the last week and I think she can take more so have bumped that up to 1300 range for the next week. Expect to see some tip burn as pushing them but very little so far.
GSC is now 36” and 36” wide but her bud sites are not very big in my opinion. I have replaced G.P. Massive with A.N.Big Bud for now as I don’t need her getting any taller......just grow BIG BUD😃😃 GSC2 is being fed the same schedule as GSC and the same feed so all numbers are the same. GSC2 is only 17” tall though and 24” wide.
GSC Environment has been hovering at 80 degrees and 50 percent humidity most of the days.
(Another Humidity controller and light arrive this week.)
GSC2 Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use.
Fast Buds strain is solid👊💪👍😍 as is evident in GSC......all issues are grower related to pH problems in first three weeks of their life.
Little more detail:

Adding in the pictures for now.........
GSC has had a good week but also a slow week like the other girls growing right now. Her buds are plentiful and the hairs are long and white........she just isn’t filling in as she should.......and I suspect wants to........damn pH issues are persisting with her as well. She was transplanted into plastic pots but her runoff numbers are still over 7 while max going in was roughly 6.0.🤬🤬 This is true for both the GSC girls. They received a 25L flush of 3.7pH water this week and that bearly pulled down the pH to 6.7???
GSC2 is paying a price and it sucks but there are always trade offs in life😃 She wants to be in 82 degrees and a 65 percent humidity but she is in with girls wanting 70’s and 50’s😢😢😢 Her leaves have become very dark green and brown spotting with further lockout issues. Her buds have very white hairs and we will keep on the same path.
GSC has filled up the tent and with the controllers and other light in place she has been in a perfect environment of 82 degrees and 63 percent humidity. With the little SP-150 and the HLG she has roughly 280 watts to keep her swelling and firming up. By the end of the week she is showing signs of improvement and buds are gaining weight again!!!!
The frost coming out on GSC has been very very impressive so far!! The high pH will hurt the yield but she appears as though the buds will be sticky👍 Have to run these girls again in a proper environment......I really want to see her potential realized. The big buds are in there......just not as visible this run😃 Fast Buds girls have been really solid and very impressive!!!!!
Little more detail............

- brown spotting on leaves so increasing CalMag.
- tent dialled in and hold temps and humidity now.
June 14/20 - Day 65
- letting the pots dry out a little more so can give a flush to work on reducing pH,
- both girls had a good night and swelled more.
June 15/20 - Day 66
- big flush day......each girl given 26L flush of water pH to 5.0
- striving to get them down to the 6.1 range.......

These girls have been continuing their growth this week and looking better all the time. GSC2 still slow though and will not have much yield. Her leaves have turned very dark this week due to lockouts I suspect. Her hairs are still very white and coming out pointy looking for pollen and swelling. GSC is still swelling and her buds are bigger at the end of the week. Purple colours also coming out in her.
The big girl has done well being squished in the corner as I had to put the two in one tent this week. The frost in GSC has been coming out for the last two weeks and is really getting sticky this week. The pH is still crazy high for the girls but they are pushing through this issue and finishing up. These are very resilient plants and I am impressed with her vigour!!
Still giving them feedings in the 3.0 pH range to help as her runoff is still coming in at mid 7’s......for both girls. GSC has been feed hard because her leaves have a nice pale colour, unlike GSC2, so keep her going and swelling. They were given a heavy watering of 8L each on day 71 to find out where the medium is. They were 7.9pH when started and last runoff was roughly 7.1pH......should have gone further to bring down more but stopped there so I didn’t flush out all of the feed since they have a couple fo weeks left. The hairs on GSC are turning more of a tan colour rather than snow white. I suspect she they have roughly this week plus another yet before thinking about harvest.......I see them going to 84 days roughly, 12 weeks.
GSC bud sites are getting pointy this week. Added bamboo steaks to GSC to tie the long branches to and support her weight. GSC2 less so and are still looking more round as she continues to fill in her buds. GSC stems have been turning purple more and more this week. Suspect it is a combination of pH and stresses with temps. GSC2 was tied more this week as well to let more light in closer to the main stem. This paid off as well as she is stacking the lower points more. She, GSC2, has also paid a bit of a price over the last week because she was kept in the flower tent with other more mature girls. The environment in that tent was striving for 76 degrees and 51% humidity but GSC2 wants 82 degrees and 65% humidity........didn’t have much choice😢
Fast Buds has rocked this strain and dialled her in after the generations of breeding!! She is very frosty for an auto and had she been given the correct watering, she would be considered an easy grow In my opinion! The two girls are growing very different but that is grower related to transplant and not genetics. Awesome job Fast Buds......the girls are keeping me smiling......and scratching my head at the same time👍👍👍👍
Little more detail.......
June 20/20 - Day 71
- 6L low ph flush of plain water @ 4.0 to bring down pH..........3L each girl.
- Followed with a low pH feeding of 4L watering with Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag, B52 @ 2ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Voodoo @ 0.5ml/L, = 1170ppm and pH 4.4
- GSC1 tops are getting lots of purple in the bud.
- GSC1 is filling in nicely and top leaves are starting to fade yellow.
- GSC2 is dark😞
June 21/20 - Day 72
- continuing flush with 12L of plain water pH to 3.3 to bring down pH.
- 6L given to each girl.
- added bamboo stakes to pull GSC1 apart and open up the middle bud sites to more light.
- GSC1 is 38" tall and 36" across now😀👍
- GSC2 is 20" tall and 24" wide👍
June 22/20 - Day 73
- 2L each watering with Rezin @ 1ml
- hairs are turning more red and more white to tan now.
- GSC1 is closer.....getting to home stretch soon.

- they are getting close to the end so getting the last bits of everything into them😀
- noticing GSC1 top cola may start to bleach out a bit.
- GSC2 feels like she has stalled.
June 24/20 - Day 75
- watering 3L each with Massive & Terpinator @ 3ml/L, Rezin & Vita & L.Wt @ 2ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L, CalMag @ 1ml/L = 1385ppm and pH to 3.9...crazy!
- moved the two girls together today as the other two are going into darkness now, they are done.
June 25/20 - Day 76
- Dry out day

- 7L watering with Rezin and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 75ppm and pH at 4.0
- 4L given to GSC and 3L given to GSC2.
- Staying with RO water now.......tap water appears to have been an issue.
- too bad the ph was such an issue.....GSC would be a monster😞
- run off numbers in pots:
GSC 7.6pH and 780ppm
GSC2 7.6pH and 1850ppm (she has stalled)
Awesome strain Fast Buds.......will be running her again!!!!!!

Not a lot of things to add for this week as it was flush week😃👍 Lockouts and deficincies all in full force and jumping out at you👌
Her last feed was day 75. She was transplanted the middle of week 4 into a plastic pot to try and deal with pH issues. Noticed in Week 7 she was going to be big and she was moved into her own tent with GSC2 so they can finish. Quickly ordered another light and humidity controller and they have been appreciative of the changes.
PH drift on this run was huge early on and never got her back. It will be what it will be and I will find out about the buds soon enough🤞 They are frosty so there is always rosin but I can feel that GSC got enough potassium in the end here and she has firmed up her buds. I am already planning on just putting GSC2 to concentrates and will be making rosin out of her.......she will be about the resin and not the buds. Think I will hash her out with some dry ice and then press the kief, or may just hang her for three days whole and then strip everything and press the flower as is.......
At first I was thinking she would just be a big big and a bunch of small whispy buds are all she would produce. Middle of the week, when the other girls went into darkness, I moved the other light in the tent as well to give the girls roughly 500 watts of lighting!! The big girl has rewarded the efforts and the nugs are firming up and the fox tailing is giving her more mass and weight. She obviously won’t produce long thick colas on this girl but rather several mid sized buds. Her buds have a lot of whiter hairs still, orange pistols, purple leaves and lots of frost!! They look great when you get right to the bud. She would have been a crazy producer had I not run into the medium issues.........shoulda, coulda, woulda😂😂😂
She has been solid for me. One huge girl from which I can trim up the buds nicely and smoke the flower and one ugly duckling that will be turned into beautiful concentrate😃😃 It has been a fun, frustrating, happy, sad but always learning grow!!!!! Cheers🙏
Little more detail........
June 27/20 - Day 78
- she is squishing out more bud. Small amount of fox tailing as well.
- Other autos are being harvested today but this girl is still going.
- she is getting some colorful spotted leaves as she finishes.
June 28/20 - Day 79
- watering of 3.5L RO water pH to 3.1......nothing added.......flushing and trying to bring pot pH down.
- more bud swelling is evident on her top cola now as well.
June 29/20 - Day 80
- another 3.5L watering of plain water with pH at 3.1
- stripped a number of leaves today from the girls.
- the big fan leaves wilting quite a bit now.
June 30/20 - Day 81
- 3L plain water pH to 3.......run off amount is increasing
- Tops of colas are getting rounder, they are filling in.
- getting closer
July 1/20 - Day 82
- 2L plain water pH to 3.1
- debating on flawless finish and if I should help her finish......
- the plant is widening up as the buds swell and pulling the branches outward.
July 2/20 - Day 83
- 3L plain RO water pH to 3.1
- rotated the girls and there are not many nutes left in her.
July 3/20 - Day 84
- 3L plain RO water pH to 3.0
- she is not uptaking much anymore......just flushing the coco basically.
Exhale Bags - How long do they really last in use?
Hey Growmies with and Exhale bag and a CO2 monitor........how long are these bags able to keep the CO2 at 800ppm range in your tent? Manufacturer is saying 11 months idea on XL size. 🙏
Привет, бро! 👋
Обычно такая штука эффективно работает около 60% заявленного срока! т.е. где-то 6,5 месяцев! Дальше тоже работает, но не на столько эффективно, как первые пол года! 👆
Удачи, братан!

******* Week 13 July 4 to 10, 2020 - Days 85 to 91 *********
*
GSC is done and went into the dry box on Monday July 6th, Day 87. She went into darkness on Saturday July 4th. She finished up at 38” tall and 36” wide.
GSC2 still going in the tent all by herself. Pulled her out and cleaned off a bunch of her leaves and when looking at the bud noticed she still has room to go to finish. Put her back in the tent, raised her up closer to the lights......kept it to the the two white full spectrum lights fo 270 watts and let her go a bit longer with more intensity at the lower sites. Just working on ripening her tricombs, she won’t be smoked and just going to concentrates so looking for a few more cloudy tricombs on hers.
Decided on Tuesday July 7th that she has gone far enough already. Don’t want to degrade the mature tricombs any further and she isn’t going to swell much larger. I am still going to follow the same processes and will put her into darkness for two days......plus I need to finish up another girl in the dry box to make room so I will give her a couple of days in the dark. Plan on cutting Thursday, pressing on Saturday or Sunday.......see what happens.
Harvest report is next..........GSC has finished up way better than expected when looking back from weeks 4 through 6 idea👍👍 GSC2 turned more as I expected they would but again, just turning her into a little concentrate to compliment the bud from the other girl.....works out in the end👌
Thanks for the read and hope your jars are full😃🙏
There are two phenos of GSC on this run. This harvest review is mainly focussed on GSC1. The second pheno was simply turned into concentrates. GSC2 was trimmed and frozen whole bud.....then pressed into rosin.
We began this run back on April 4th with germination. We finished with harvest on day 87, July 6/20 for GSC1 and 89 days for GSC2 on July 8/20.
She was grown in a 3 gallon fabric pot (plastic as well😃) with coco coir and maybe 15% perlite. She was fed salt based nutrients……..so sorry but they are flushed out and that is what I am more comfortable with. Focus on the early growth with microbes, fungi and kelp!! She was fed the normal pattern with pH being held around the 5.4 to 5.8 range in feeding. Then as flower approached, I gave the pots a more consistent look at the runoff numbers and she was running 7.8pH coming out of her!!!!! WTF. She stayed in her pot that she was planted in and fought this issue all through the rest of her grow.
The pH issues started surfacing around week 3….as we headed into flower of course. Scratching my head for weeks, I ultimately didn’t change anything other than really low pH feeding going in…….below 4 idea. For weeks she had 3.9 water going in and still getting 7.8 running off. I initially felt it was related to cheap fabric bags so I transplanted these girls into plastic pots. It could be a fabric pot issues but I am not as convinced anymore this run had that issue, also wasn’t sure about giving her Magnesium on top of Magnesium and therefore did I mess her up good on the inside early on in week 2 idea. So, out of options I changed back to RO water and that seems to have solved my issues……I was using tap water that was not filtered this run🤬 The pH was high so that was adjusted but with the ppm being at 185 to 200 range I chose not to buy a filter and just dechlorinated the water only. I was tired of lugging 5 gallon water bottles in and out of the basement😃 That is a difference from all other grows…..silly for not catching this by week 4! So…….back to lugging bottles in and out of the basement😂😂😂
The story of Mrs Frankestein…….
GSC1 took the transplant on May 3, day 24 well. I set the fabric pot overtop of the plastic bucket and dropped her in a couple of inches…..I had cut a slit from side to side on the bottom of the fabric pot to let her fall out….kind of pulled and wiggled the fabric bag out and the girl fell down below into the new pot. Note……this is where things changed for GSC2, AKA Mrs Frankenstein😂😂 The nifty trick cutting a slit in the bottom of the bag didn’t work out as planned and one side of the bag didn’t “drop” the medium below but rather brought it up with the bag. Shit….suddenly the small root ball as it was, was suddenly on top of the pot….or half of it was🤬🤬🤬👌 I should have made a cut like a plus symbol so it wouldn fall out easier. Found an extra nice nug, loaded the bowl, found my happy place said F it!! We move on🤪🤪🤪 I am not going to spend a lot of effort discussing pheno 2, or GSC2 in the images and weekly notes, more in the diary besides here.
GSC2 ran for two days longer than GSC1 at 89 days from germination. She fought all the same pH issues plus her twisted root mass. The mishap actually starts to look cool in the last couple of weeks……it looked like she was choking herself……the side branches look like some rib cage shape to me😎😎😎 Her frost levels were on par with the other girl so I decided a little later in the grow to just turn her into concentrate. Her buds never formed well and didn’t swell but she still had great frost levels. She went from two days of darkness into he dry box for a day and then into the freezer. She was then turned into dry ice hash rosin…..pretty close to live rosin. A comment on that……doing it again I will give them 5 days to “cure” before extracting, even if hanging the whole plant. There is something to the magic of the cure and you can’t skip it. The rosin was awesome and the taste was again……almost straight lemons!! So, thanks the memories GSC2……appreciate the smoke😃😃
Auto……Photo……Auto……Photo…….Auto……
GSC1 took the transplant in early week 3 well. She was very slow bringing on the flowers and her preflower lasted for a couple of weeks…….related to the transplant???? Focusing on root development and not bud development? Could be…..since she is already a long enough strain genetically, she almost had enough time to make up for it😃 I did a lot of scratching my head in weeks 5 and 6. By day 42 the girls still had not set large buds so to help this along I finally forced these two girls in to a 12/12 light cycle to bring on flower…….if they are not autos for some reason, they would flower for sure now! Day 43 was increased to 9 hours off for two days then back to the flower tent, more of a shock. Then by day 47 I moved them back to the veg tent and switched the light cycle to a full 12/12…..F it!……she will flower now🤪🤪🤪🤪 By day 51 starting to see more prominent signs of bud sites setting in. On day 52 I started working the light cycle back and went 15/9 again and then back to 18/6 finally on day 54. Well that was interesting!!!! At any rate we are there now and lets get to swelling finally😃
GSC1 Getting Big…..Son of a B……….
In week 5 they were given a 42L flush to try and control the pH. The upside is that it helped to keep the ppm low in the soil😃 The downside was it didn’t do crap to help the pH a few days later……I was still using tap water here and not RO, which I feel was the issue. The pot she was transplanted into was a good size and there was room for further root development and she took advantage of this! See pictures of roots. As a result she kept on growing and growing and by day 56 I knew she was not going back into the flower tent with others😃 They would have just choked each other out and not done well in the end. Problem is that the second tent was just set up for veg cycles.........Amazon to the rescue…..had no time and we are now in the start of week 9. I need more light and a humidity controller today! I went with a Mars Hydro SP-150 as it came 48 hours later…….a big deal right now because it was the first week of June and COVID. Shipping was messed up and anything growing related was sold out…..case in point HLG had NO kits in stock.….damn!!!!! The Mars light took the wattage up to 370 watts of full spectrum lighting in the tent so she should be okay…..yes she was: 1:: 1:: 1: The little Mars works well physically in the space I have in the tent actually and I quite like it!!! Will be an easy resell in the near future if need be.......or add two more for this size tent 😃😃😃👍 The tent now more affectionately named “Fast Buds Auto Tent”👍 (couple of back to back runs planned with their newer genetics 😍💪🤩)
So, problem solved with a little time and some money, both in short supply😃, they are now in their own tent and have the room to finish properly. By day 60 GSC1 pushed GSC2 out of the tent…..she wanted it all for herself😂 Finally on Day 61 we are starting to see the leaf tips pointing up……almost straight up as this Fast Buds strain does often! She was 36” tall week 10 and settled in there finally. The problem was she also got to 32” wide, so that fills a 3’ x 3’ tent......Son of a B!!!!!
Finally finishing the journey……..
Now we finally find ourselves into weeks 10 through 13 and she just simply took her sweet ass time finishing😂😂 Was quite worried about the buds as she started to show obvious signs of deficiencies and lock outs in the last days. The frost really came out in the last weeks……she was frosty early on and certainly by week 9 you were smiling💪 Bud swelling happened quite a bit a the end of week 11 as well…..day 70’s idea…..through these days they firmed up quite a bit🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
She finally started to show her beautiful colours at the end and some of the buds were starting to get a little darker as well. Between all fo the brown spots and yellow fading….she was looking like a rainbow by day 79😃 Leaving her to just grow as high as she wanted was fine, but I do prefer to bend them over and have 6 or 8 colas Idea. Her top cola swelled up a fair bit but certainly didn’t set any records with having so many other bud sites to fatten up on her as well. Not a complaint but rather happy she swelled and firmed up as much as she did. A lot of leaf stripping in week 12 to get the last light energy down as low as possible.
Finally on July 4th, day 85 she went into darkness and on July 6th, Day 87 she was cut down for harvest. She was too awkward for my situation to dry whole so I decided to stick with my normal and used the homemade dry box with strings to hang the branches. I have a room that holds a perfect 64 degrees all the time 👍👍 She was dried for 10 days and put into jars on July 16th to cure. Yield was decent and I am certainly not going to complain……genetics played a big part here👊......I must admit, that I can’t help think if only I had done this or done that……she would have been more, she was so big😂😂😂 Same old thoughts for all of us growers!!!
In summary….she was great. I had a Jekyll & Hyde scenario for sure this run😂 She was a ray of sunshine in a run that was filled with frustration and few answers, so I am grateful. She has so many positives with her vigor, her appearance with the leaves pointing up, her frost…..hell with it I am going to run her again right away!! I was waiting for something in the mail but its delayed until????????? GSC again!!!!
She certainly smells and tastes of lemons and the woods. The effects have been strong but I must admit it is still early in the smoke department and she has been changing already over the last couple of days…….she needs a few more weeks. It has come across as a nice balanced smoke and can be a day time smoke for myself. The bud won’t last long because she is so pungent you wont leave the bud jar alone😂😂😂 Terpinator came through!!!!
Going to wrap up at that Growmies🙏 It is a lot of work to keep on top of several diaries, your own notes, problem solving, personal life, and working for a living, so much respect for the Growmies able to keep on top of it all each week and have their diaries dial in…….RESPECT!!!......I usually find myself running behind☹️☹️ More hours in the day please....haha.....but seriously thanks Growmies for sharing your time and efforts through your diaries. I scroll through others all the time when selecting new strains🙏🙏🙏
Since all of GSC2 was just pressed into rosin I didn’t add her into the yield numbers. I only recorded the weight for GSC!!!
Happy growing Peeps and thanks for the read……looking forward to the next one😎
