Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 9 May 18– 24 FLOWER 5 Nutrients : 3 gal GH Micro 20 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 15 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 15ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/23 PH 6.6, PPM 1570, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/24 pics & vid Since all 6 gals are getting frosty, I did some trichome pics. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The new strain profile indicates a whopping 29%THC with mainly sativa uplifting, euphoric, social effects with sweet fruity flavors which I love and enjoy. In addition, I recently bought a dap press and this strain is frosty and resinous. She will be great to press for live rosin. FBA2502 is FROSTBANGER. Day 71: Hope everything's going well for you. Unfortunately, it's still way too hot here. The outside temperature is 29°C, so it's pretty similar inside the tent. I do have a portable air conditioner, but it would have to run constantly, and that's too expensive for me. That's why I’ve increased the humidity a bit. Otherwise, they look healthy and the buds are getting bigger. I removed two leaves from the Tropical Marker that seemed a bit burned — at least that's what I suspect. Day 74: Today, like every two days, the ladies were watered again with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Cal-Mag. The girls are looking beautiful. The Tropical Marker is very frosty, but the Purple Kush is also getting frostier. Today, I wedged a board with a hole for the exhaust fan into my window. I hope the room will get a bit cooler now. Additionally, I temporarily hung the lamp’s power supply outside the tent. Day 75: Today, for once, I didn't do anything. Thanks to the new exhaust outlet, the temperature in the tent is actually 5 degrees Celsius lower. The VPD is now back at 1.6. Yesterday, I lowered the exhaust from 80% to 50% to better maintain the 60% humidity, which is working well now. The buds continue to grow, the girls look beautiful, and the smell is getting stronger. Day 76: Today the ladies got 2 liters of water again, this time without any fertilizer. The buds are getting bigger and the girls are looking wonderful. Other than that, I had a little chat with them and then left them in peace again.

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

Here we are ready for the right harvest on the last day of the contest. I am very satisfied with these plants, they are over half an ounce per plant but it can even reach 70-80 in my opinion. Wet cut is scary. Beautiful strain with different phenotypes, the two tall girls are already in the dry room, these two are pure fire. Big effort during the harvest but a lot of grass. The resin you'll notice is there as well and we can't wait to taste it. Let’s Go Day 81!!!! This week went real great 2 Ogreberrys are hanging to dry and also the Bruce Banner is too after there 48 hr of darkness! The 3 other Ogreberrys began flush on Monday so finish out this week of flush and one more week of flush after that an they will get the chop too! Ladies are doing great, finally fixed the pH problem, so the lockout should be fixed. Great growth, amazingly icy buds, especially pheno #1 is looking incredible. Smells of sour cherry candy with some hints of that gelato too.

I got my Optic 1 xl 100w COB LED in the mail just a few days ago and I’m super impressed with this light. The intensity honestly rivals a 250or400w HID light. The light was not at all super expensive. Only $203 after shipping, and it’s well worth it. ( I’m not at all trying to sell this product, I just haven’t see very many journals or reviews on them. Hopefully this journal will help give my view on this light) This is the start of week 1 in bud. I flipped the lights to 12/12 6days ago. And I’ve definitely noticed a stretch from each of these ladies. I think I’ve forgot to mention it but I’ve been using the TNB natural CO2 enhancer. It seems to be doing a great job. I feel like these ladies are definitely growing faster than the plants from my last round that didn’t have any CO2 enhancement. As you guys can see from the pictures and video I’ve installed a trellis net and started spreading these plants out. Over in my veg then the Hyer up plant that I’ve been waiting on to grow up a bit before I throw her into bud ended up being a male. So that means the only plant from this round I haven’t thrown into bud yet is my ATF which has also been in the veg tent with the Hyer Up and the clones. She’s only about 1 &1/2 foot tall from her soil. So I’m gonna give her an extra 2maybe 3 weeks before I get clones from her and put her in the bud room with the other ladies. In the video you can see a kinda gap or hole in the trellis in the back left corner. That’s where I plan to put the ATF when it’s time. Other than that everything is moving along great. I did another top feeding of dry amendments for the ladies I just put in bud. I’ll put those pictures in there as well. Thanks for checking out the garden.
