OCTOBER 20 (DAY 24): Week four has begun, and I am now so completely full of questions. I’ve got preflowers on at least 2 of the 3 plants, the terminal nodes (is that right?) on all three are looking... uh... busy... lots of long, skinny growth coming out of the bud sites. I am wondering if this means it’s time to start transitioning to bloom nutes, or if I’m a little early yet. On the subject of bloom nutes..... wtf? There are so many options, and it’s hard to tell what can be used with other things and what products are supposed to be direct competitors. This is definitely going to require some trial and error. I’m also not sure what to do about the lights. Because I’m using LST on some but not all of the plants, one is significantly taller than the others (and thus closer to the lights)... this looks like a grow question. OCTOBER 21 (DAY 25): After dealing with a runaway heat problem in my tent and major height discrepancies between the LST’ed plants and the control plant, I decided to reorganize the tent... again. I’ve got my tiny tent in a nook in my bathroom, and there aren’t any ports for intake fans at the bottom of the tent (just windows), so I had been running a small intake fan shoved right up between one of the mesh intake windows and the wall. That didn’t give a ton of open air for the intake fan to draw from, so I rotated the tent 90 degrees so the intake fan has the open room air to pull from. I also raised the LST’ed plants by about 6” so the canopies of all three plants will sit roughly equal. We’ll see if this works. Τoday I fed the plants again. I’m not sure if I am going to prefer to go the FF Bembe route or the AN Big Bud/Bud Candy/Overdrive route, so I am doing a side-by-side on my LST’ed plants. Plant 3 received Bud Candy today, while plant 1 will get Bembe starting next week. I have only been feeding the plants nutes once a week. I’m wondering if I should step that up or just stick to once a week unless the plants start squawking. Any feedback would be much appreciated. TL;DR: To flower or not to flower... to feed or not to feed... to water or not to water... these are the questions. 📆 Semana 6 ¡Qué semanita se ha marcado la Grease Monkey! Ya se nota que está bien metida en floración: los cogollos empiezan a coger buena forma, cada vez más apretados y resinosos. Tiene ese rollo pegajoso que tanto nos gusta, y las hojas cercanas a las flores ya brillan con tricomas por todos lados. Estoy siguiendo con la gama de XpertNutrients, que le está sentando de lujo. No he tocado mucho la receta esta semana, solo afinando un poco el riego para adaptarme al ritmo que lleva. Se nota que está en su punto dulce. Los Adlite siguen demostrando que son una inversión top. Gracias a la buena distribución de luz, incluso las ramas secundarias están desarrollando cogollos decentes, no solo las puntas. En cuanto al ambiente, las temperaturas se han mantenido suaves, entre 22 y 25 °C, y la humedad está en torno al 55%, un poco más alta de lo ideal, pero por ahora sin señales de problemas. Estoy ventilando bien y con el ojo encima por si acaso. El aroma empieza a ser un espectáculo: dulce y cremoso, con ese fondo a gas tan típico de la Grease Monkey. Los tricomas están en su mayoría lechosos, así que aún queda tiempo para que siga engordando y afinando perfil. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

Tempature was getting to 60° at night and 67° during lights on. Bought foam board to put under the tents and an oil space heater to combat cold temps. Defoliated on 11-6-23. Top Dressed with BuildaSoil Craft blend ¼ Cup.

Had to squish most of the plants together and defoil heavily to make space for the impatient one. Adjusted the daily water intake by a litre as to not suffocate the auto, kept the same feeding schedule otherwise

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

Oh man I messed up by not cutting candy kush #3 before the rain last week and lost a little less than half to botrytis 😓😓😞 but can only be mad at myself for not chopping her down sooner and I will still end up with a few ozs from CKE #3. Candy kush #2 just exploded with trichomes and orange pistils over the last 8 days so I'm very glad I left #1 & #2 out,going to chop #2 today or maybe tomorrow if it stays warm and sunny!!! Candy kush #1 is the biggest of the 3(makes sense since I put her in a full 15 gallon grow bag). When I chopped #3 last week cke #1 was no where near done but now almost all her pistils have turned brown and she has milky trichomes all over!! Im the most excited for CKE #2 ,she smells like the old school west coast og kush with a hint of chem to her it's amazing!! Candy kush #1 got more of the sweet special traits in the nose smells very sweet and earthy but im sure both will be amazing smoke no doubt in my mind!! ✌️ ☮️

01.12 - Stretch has stopped, so I decided to change my nutrient plan and also lollipopped all of the girls during the week when I watered them. They develop really well and I look forward to see the buds growing.

Made hydroponics system myself. Very easy. I should have fed them with voodoo juice if They were in plastic cups. It took the roots so long to grow in regular soil.

Hi guys Welcome in the last weekly upgrade 🙂 In the end ten weeks of flowering for this beautiful phenotypes of the brand new DOS SI DOS # 33 For being precise today (the same day where I have do the photos on the top) we are at 68 days of flowering.. I probably will doing harwest in one or two days , so we will arrive at day n°70.. I have still prefere to continue her maturation because she tell me to do that.. So , she decide it.. She know when it's ready , and in some way she tell it us , if we listen.. Probably it's a thinks comes from mind of a stoner , but for me it work well 👌 Anyway.. She's was easy to grow , specially using this Living Soil Hig-Brix recipe I have make.. The resin production it's very very good , super sticky glue 🔥 Like I say in previous weeks.. The aroma reminds me a lot of a Kush earthy , spicy with some other notes like citrus , but faraway for now.. After the cut I will dry it properly , for 7 to 10 days in temperature around 20/22°C and ur 55/60% , the entire plant.. After that , when the branches are dry but before the crack sound , I will do a nice manicuring and then I put the flowers in a browbag for one or two days , it depends.. Then , when I will think the moinsture of the buds can be good , I will put the flowers in to the jar.. Not all full but just for 3/4.. And then I will start the curing process.. Usually after the first time I have put the buds in to the jar , I leave it closed for 24 h.. After this full day closed , I will start to open up the jar four times a day every six hours for the first week.. And then I will doing it for about three to four weeks , and every week I will open the jar one time less.. Sometimes I change the metod , but the final product it's always be the same.. But when I will finish this process I show you in a video how the ash it's and especyally how it's will burn , nice and slowly without still continue to light up.. Unfortunately now I can't do nothing for show you how clean and rich can be the taste.. I hope for the future.. Anyway.. The first test will be around half may and after that I can be able to posting the harwest rewiew..
