SO I HAVE THIS MARS HYDRO TSW 2000 24 INCHES FROM FABRIC POTS WITH OCEAN FOREST AND TAP ROOT PLANTED DOWN WITH LIGHT COVER IN A SMALL PILE OF ROOTING SOIL IN EACH POT. HOME ALOT SO WILL KEEP AREA WHERE SEED IS DAMP, WILL CHECK A COUPLE TIMES A DAY AND WATER GENTLY WITH SPRAY BOTTLE. I HAVE THE LIGHT AT 40% SO WONDERING IF ITS A GOOD SET UP OR NOT.

Week 6, day 43. Growth: The girls still grew a bit past week, #4 the biggest of them all is 71 cm. Buds started to develop on all 5 girls. I noticed a deficiency and took action but ill explain this down bellow:) Training: I did a selective defolation on all 5 girls. Maybe ill be picking off leaves that are in the way but there will be no more training. Im just going to let them do thier thing. Nutrients: 4 out of the 5 had little burned tips on the leaves because of overfeeding. Some of the plant's leaves are pretty dark so i think they did not like the feeding of 2.5ml Canna Terra Vega and 2.5ml Cannazym. Next feeding when the soil is day will be 2ml of Canna Terra Flores. Issues: I was hoping i was not going to need a "issues" section but im no pro so i expected some issues. So first issue was, Temp fluctuations: Its cold here and i have to set a timer on a 2000w heater battling the cold when the lights are off. I decided to run the tent 24/7 through flower to have a consistent temperature like our fellow grower Rudiak suggested. I added a new carbon filter and put a fan in the intake hole. now my temperature stays between 26 and 26.5 and humidity is also stable around 30 to 40%. This is my solution for this run but not a permanent solution. I think ill be removing the mars hydro 300 when setting up the new tent. It takes one heat source too many out the tent. i can cover the whole tent with the cob and reflector96. Nutrientburns, Nutrient lockout: Some of the girls look like they have a nitrogen toxicity and also some burned tips on the leaves so i skipped 2 feedings. I noticed i also had deficiencies, i suspected iron deficiency but i now think its nitrogen deficiency because the new growth is not effected. They got burned by the amount of nutrients they had last feeding so i assumed something wasnt right in the soil. I flushed the girls today with 24L per pot. with a ph of 6.6, the runoff was 5.9 and managed to get it to 6.4. Because of the big difference the ph in my soil mustve been really low causing the lockout. Lets hope everything will be ok after their first feeding after flush

Original Sensible Seeds White Crystal Meth Auto finished out nicely compared to where it had started out, there was a time within the first 3 weeks that I was going to trash the plant, the plant looked fried, I am sure it was just a weird start, but Original Sensible Seeds genetics are always strong, and this girl bounced back and yielded 197 grams of pre-dried weight of truly great looking buds, I would love for an opportunity to gro this one outgain.

📆 Week 13, 4-10 April 2024 4-10 April - Let the plant grow and observed, assessing maturity. 📑 Buds have fattened up and matured. The trichome head colors are 80% milky, 10+% amber, and about 10% clear. All but a few pistil hairs are brown. She has a strong, sweet earth, gassy, berry scent. The plan now is to flush with RO water for a few days leaving lights on the same 12/12hrs schedule but turning power the down to 50% to help cool down the grow just before the cut. From what I understand putting plants in darkness may not be necessary according to a recent suggestion by Dr Bruce Bugbee. This practice he claims halts all plant activity without light. So I’m doing my own comparisons over the next few harvests. It will not hurt/gain much either way. Nice week of growth. The girls are about 13 inches on average, D and L are taller. Betty definitely seems like a sativa pheno compared to her sisters. I found some brown algae in my tubs, I did some research and discovered I needed to cover my net pots to eliminate light pollution getting into the tubs. There were only a couple of small spots, I was able to remove it by hand. I slapped some foil on the tubs and made sure each lid was completely sealed. PH has been holding pretty steady and I haven't seen much drift at all. Towards the end of the week it struck me that the stretch is coming. I did some rough calculations on my current height and max height ill be able to have and I feel I should flip to flower by the end of the week when I swap new water in. Another week of veg and a stretch may be too tall with my lights. So I changed the water late on day 42, pulled some fan leaves and adjusted my light timer so when they went out in the morning they'll be off for 12 hours. I've left the MH bulb in for the flip to help control the stretch this first week. I read you can leave it for the first 2 to 3 weeks but depending how this upcoming week of stretch goes I may pop in the HPS during early week 2 of flower to get a little extra height if I think I need it. Was not ready to take clones, I may try to pull some on day 47 coming up, just a busy time of year.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and I’m ready to chop her but gonna give her another week and possibly chop next weekend. Not sure yet though. She’s mostly milky but would like some ambers in there and if I’m not seeing any this week, I’ll give her more time. Day 65 - Still continuing to give her straight pH’d water to flush her out. PPM’s are down to around 550 so thinking by the end of week 10, she should be completely flushed and ready for chop. Just watching to trichomes to tell me when. Day 66 - Just did a flush with foxfarm’s sledgehammer and gonna let her dry out till the weekend and looking at the trichomes, she’ll be ready for a chop this weekend. Looking forward to finally starting to dry and cure this girl! Day 67 - On track for chopping Saturday, day 70. Not seeing any clear trichomes, all are milky and some amber. Will most likely chop most of her and and maybe let the few bottom buds get light for a week or so and chop the rest. Day 68 - Looking good and frosty and begging to be chopped but gonna wait till Friday or Saturday then start the drying process!

Coming along ,stretch not over but slowed

Plants are really flowering still small but plant one has a lot of tops now and plant 2’s buds are already getting dense.

I will definitely change the pots next time, I will put something in fabric, I am having problems with oxygenation of the roots, poor absorption by the pot and the soil, I have noticed a difference between Plagron and Biobizz, it seems that Plagron absorbs better and evaporates better, it will be my impression, I was wrong from the beginning by giving only 1/4 of the nutrients that the Biobizz table said I ran only a few weeks ago, giving half of the table, we will see

I transplanted yesterday into their final homes. The substrate is soil, worm castings, peat and perlite + the roots of my old francos lemon cheese (torn up). The soil is very moist, so I wont be watering for a little while. Pictures coming soon

Sweet Zenzation or Zkittles grew great under the Unit Farm UF4000, and UF2000 lights. The UF2000 was added during flowering. She was part if a 5 plant grow. I will try to add a harvest video here once I cut it down. She has a nice color morph from the fade as well. Great frost, and smell. The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.
