I removed some more leaves. I checked today the trichomes (Thursday) and it is tricky. It looks unmatured, but some already amber. I wanna give 2 weeks more to be sure, it is the 8th week of flowering. Everything remain the same, watering 2 x 200ml a day. Only pure water because it is being flushed. Very nice plant !❤️🤪 There is a lot of flower on it and the plant is bent because of that. It also has very strong smell and if I touch, it makes my fingers very sticky.👌 End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

🌿 Woche 17 – Mentha de Croco 🇩🇪 Ein weiterer Meilenstein ist erreicht! 🚀 Die linke Mentha de Croco ist nun etwa 190 cm groß, die rechte hat mit ca. 202 cm bereits die 2-Meter-Marke geknackt! 📏🎉 Besonders spannend ist die Veränderung der Wuchsform. Während beide Pflanzen anfangs wie schlanke Wolkenkratzer in die Höhe wuchsen, entwickeln sie nun immer mehr die typische Tannenbaum-Struktur 🌲. Vor allem die linke Pflanze hat eine wunderschöne, gleichmäßige Verzweigung ausgebildet und sieht einfach fantastisch aus. 💚 Aktuell bekommen beide Pflanzen täglich etwa 5 Liter Wasser 💧. Das 30-Liter-Topfvolumen macht sich inzwischen deutlich bemerkbar und scheint das weitere Höhenwachstum zunehmend zu begrenzen. Trotzdem entwickeln sich die Pflanzen weiterhin hervorragend. Heute gibt es wieder eine Gabe meines selbst hergestellten Ackerschachtelhalm-Brennnessel-Ferments mit 10 ml pro Liter Wasser 🌿. Ansonsten läuft alles absolut problemlos – keine Mängel, keine Schädlinge und keine Krankheiten. Genau so wünscht man sich einen Outdoor-Grow! 💪☀️ Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt von der Robustheit und Schönheit dieser Genetik. Bisher machen die beiden einfach alles mit und belohnen mich Woche für Woche mit einer beeindruckenden Entwicklung. ❤️🌱 🌿 Week 17 – Mentha de Croco 🇬🇧 Another milestone has been reached! 🚀 The left Mentha de Croco is now around 190 cm tall, while the right one has officially broken the 2-meter mark, reaching approximately 202 cm! 📏🎉 What’s especially interesting is how their growth pattern has changed. Instead of the tall, column-like “skyscraper” appearance they had earlier, both plants are now developing a beautiful Christmas tree structure 🌲. The left plant in particular has formed an incredibly symmetrical branching pattern and looks absolutely stunning. 💚 At the moment, each plant receives around 5 liters of water every day 💧. The relatively small 30-liter pots are now clearly becoming the limiting factor for further vertical growth, but despite that, both plants continue to thrive. Today they’ll receive another feeding with my homemade nettle and horsetail ferment at a concentration of 10 ml per liter of water 🌿. Apart from that, everything is going perfectly—no nutrient deficiencies, no pests, and no diseases. Exactly what you hope for in an outdoor grow! 💪☀️ I’m truly impressed by the resilience and beauty of this genetics. These plants have handled every challenge so far and continue to reward me with outstanding growth week after week. ❤️🌱

Flowering week 9 report: -------------------------------- Okay guys i am on the final stretch! I have carefully examined pistils and noticed that all of the plants have more than 70% darkened and curled pistils. Also, i did some microscope check on the trichomes are they are all milk and cloudy. This week i will administer nutrients for the last time, then i will do 5-7 days flush with plain ph-ed water. That being said, i guess i will be harvesting these beauties in no more than 10 days from now on. During the day the HPS and the strong ventilation are drying the air good enough, and during the night i turn on dehumidifier, so the RH stays low 24/7.

Week 7 of 9 for Do-si-dos, this strain is running 1 week longer than the others. Overall she's the least nutrient hungry of the group and shows the least amount of deficiency. Still, I fed her and extra liter last week. August 1 - added close up pictures.

Diese Woche war ich fünf Tage im Urlaub. In dieser Zeit musste Blumat seine Zuverlässigkeit beweisen. Das klappte problemlos – wie erwartet. Ist das System einmal richtig eingestellt, läuft es zuverlässig – solange der Tank regelmäßig nachgefüllt wird. Die Pflanze hat sich diese Woche um 16 cm gestreckt. Ich rechne noch mit etwas weiterem Stretch, aber nicht mehr viel. Insgesamt dürfte die Streckung am Ende bei etwa 100 % liegen. Die Blütenansätze haben sich diese Woche sehr gut entwickelt. Lollipopping an Tag 21 ist dennoch sinnvoll, denn schon jetzt sind viele Triebe zu sehen, die später nur kleine Popcorn-Buds bilden würden. Diese Woche wurde es deutlich wärmer, mit Spitzenwerten von 30 C° im Grow Room. Im Zelt stieg die Temperatur während einer Lichtphase entsprechend auf bis zu 32 C°. Die Pflanze hat das gut verkraftet. Da es in unserer Region bisher nicht geregnet hat, ist die Luftfeuchtigkeit noch niedrig. Mit den ersten Gewittern und Regenschauern dürfte sich das jedoch schnell ändern. I love them. They’re very pretty and the aroma is really amazing for it’s stage. I have never seen such a nice purple before - cannot wait to try them. Just really keeping them on pure bloom feed from here on in.

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

Woche 16 – Vegetation 🌿 | Der letzte Tag vor dem Flip Diese Woche stand ganz im Zeichen der Vorbereitung. Nach dem großen Entlauben letzte Woche durfte sich die Laughing Buddha erst einmal erholen – und genau das hat sie eindrucksvoll getan. Innerhalb weniger Tage hat sie das gesamte Blätterdach wieder geschlossen und dabei ordentlich Höhe gemacht. Im Zeitraffer sieht man besonders gut, wie gleichmäßig sich das SCROG füllt. Die vielen Triebe arbeiten inzwischen als eine einzige, geschlossene Krone – genau das Ziel, das ich von Anfang an verfolgt habe. Auch unter dem Blätterdach hat sich die Arbeit gelohnt. Das kräftige Lollipopping sorgt für eine offene Struktur und einen sauberen Luftstrom. Jetzt kann die Pflanze ihre Energie auf die zukünftigen Colas konzentrieren, anstatt kleine, schattige Triebe zu versorgen. Diese Woche habe ich außerdem begonnen, meine neue Sensortechnik intensiver zu nutzen. Besonders spannend ist die Bodenfeuchte: Die Sensoren zeigen, dass der äußere Wurzelbereich inzwischen deutlich mehr Wasser verbraucht als der Bereich direkt am Stamm. Deshalb teste ich aktuell kleinere, dafür häufigere Wassergaben, um die Bodenfeuchtigkeit möglichst konstant zu halten und den Mikroorganismen optimale Bedingungen zu bieten. Das Dachbodenklima bleibt weiterhin die größte Herausforderung. An warmen Nachmittagen kämpft die Klimaanlage gegen die Sommerhitze, während der Luftbefeuchter versucht, die Luftfeuchtigkeit stabil zu halten. Trotzdem bleibt das Klima insgesamt noch in einem guten Bereich und die Pflanze zeigt keinerlei Anzeichen von Stress. Morgen ist es endlich soweit: Der Wechsel auf 12/12. 🌸 Nach über vier Monaten Vegetationszeit beginnt nun die Blütephase. Das Netz ist gefüllt, die Pflanze ist gesund und kräftig – jetzt darf sie zeigen, was in ihr steckt. Der kommende Stretch wird entscheiden, wie sich die rund 80 Triebspitzen entwickeln und ob der Plan aufgeht. Ich freue mich riesig auf die nächsten Wochen.
