Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Another good week in the books down in the tent. Carl 1 and UKBS 1 are both developing some nice buds, Carl 1 with the bigger buds of the two. Carl 1 had to have a few more buds tied up today, as they overweighted what the stems could handle and started sagging like crazy, creating a lot of empty space in the canopy. Timelapse for the week is out, of course. Updates as they come; per usual. 6/11/2021 - Got a video of how the stem's degenerated, it's mainly on that one side. Somehow an entire branch snapped off of UKBS 2, upon further inspection I noticed it was barely attached to the stem at all and did not attempt to re-attach it. Additionally, some of the clones are doing alright and others are shriveling and dying. Not sure what the inconsistency is caused by. It may be the medium; being soil, stays wet for too long. I can't really think of any other reason. I'm misting them, the humidity stays high now that I have a dome for them, they've been dipped in stim-root and supplied mycorrhizae. Will be submitting a grow question as I'm completely new to the whole cloning concept. Also today: more bud shots using the fancy EOS T5 Rebel. Stay tuned! [Out now] 6/11/2021 - The branch drop seems to not have affected UKBS 2 much at all, something which continues to confuse the hell out of me. I may have to get a PVC greenhouse or something to flower the outdoor plants in, as they're giant and I don't know how they'll stand up to the high winds in the area.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….

Another week almost over, the girls are beautiful and smell great. Apparently everything is under control, I'm really looking forward to the results. Happy growing! 🌱🌱🌱

June 14th - Day 118 : Heavy defoliation today as I can’t lower my humidity and tried everything from cleaning to lowering the humid in the lung room... But I mean...!!! Looooooks at theses beautiesssss

The pound cake auto is really taking off. I’m happy I didn’t top the plant and just let it do its thing. It’s gonna have big long bugs all over the whole plant is just gonna be nugs. Not sure what I did with this plant but I got the roots perfect this time and it’s showing it the growth of the plant

Que pasa familia, ya estamos aquí para actualizar la 3 semana de floración y es que la vaina se pone interesante, están cogiendo unos tonos. No os e comentado creo pero hasta ahora hay 2 armarios, uno con 100w y otro con 150w en el de 100w hay 4 red cookies gelato en 7L.y en el de 150w hay 5 ejemplares de red cookies gelato en 15L de maceta. El cual en donde practique el crooping fue en el de 150w , que veréis todos los céntrales partidos . Hasta ahora alimentado total con bases de advanced nutrients más big bud y bud candy. E tenido algún problemita en la sala con las humedades que pronto estará solucionado aunque no fue mucho hay que decirlo todo. ( máximas en interior de 70 % en pico alto…) eso está mal así que la solución es un deshumidificador potente y a seguir. Hasta aquí todo espero que disfrutéis con los diarios y buenos humos 💨💨💨

These ladies were heavy yielding - just wish the PK booster did not stunt them, I feel they could have even been larger, the buds are sweet and sticky, they smell amazing, they are hard and resinous - they have a beautiful mix of dark and light shades of green with bright orange hairs, very pretty, my friends are already in love with this weed, hits you like a Sativa and as the high lingers mellows like an Indica, I can't, wait to grow this again! The is an urban legend that occasionally a purple strain emerges, and when it does the outcome is legendary, just another reason to try this strain!

She looks very good and healthy, hope she was gonna get a little bigger, same thing with her sister, however I like the aroma she's starting to produce both of them, let's see how they perform. Peace guys ✌️💚🌱❤️

MONDAY 5/19 12AM The Witches Wedding started growing balls so I hope she doesnt pollenate these!!! 5/30/25 3am!! 🚨 THREE COLA VS.4 COLA EXPERIMENT. Today I'll be doing a weight comparison. It looks as iff 3 cola may perform as well as a 4 cola while giving extra space for air and leaf growth. I like 3 or 4 plants in the small tents. I ENJOY growing and getting to know all the different kinds of strains. SO 3 COLA, in 1 gallon, small space limited fresh air, limited power OR. heat will kill everything. lack of space means lack of air movement. If I can get the same amount from 3 colas THEN I can grow SAFLEY without PROBLEMS from lack of light or air....... more plants fewer colas but the SAME amount of weed. Todays weight test should either prove or disprove 3 colas in small spaces 3 plants 9 main colas with training to make SURE its a transfer of energy without entropy. suck on that fucknewton, he was a loser. I shit on your 2nd law of motion. 🚨 630am Just weighed both plants: THREE COLA 26.67. FOUR COLA 28.75 ounce. WHAT 4 COLA is bigger? Not necessarily. PER COLA the 3 cola plant has 8.89 PER COLA. FOUR COLA has 7.1875 ounce. 1.7025oz difference. 3 Cola has more viable buds at the bottom of the plant because of the extra light and airflow!! CONCLUSION: IM LIGHTYEARS AHEAD OF MY TIME. nope it was the energy drink. Taking into consideration I dont like trimming and each cola can be easily lightly trimmed (I dont grow to keep leaves for shake, not worth the mess) then hung to dry, then cut the buds off directly into Grove Terp. Loc bag with minimal trimming and it's DONE. NO STUPID trim jail, big mess....none of that. clean and simple. She suffered with under watering practices and heat stress no doubt but seems to be stabilising with no further deterioration. Double Kush Cake Feminized is come to the end of her growth spurt reaching 60cm her gaps aren’t filled and won’t likely be filled with due to the stress she was under! From now until the end the lady will be fed sparingly every five days with 1500ml of nutrients and npk
