Dear Me, I had a Growers Nightmare, An Equipment failure around 21th of Jan,24. My 3X3 Mars Hydro Kit is IMPORTED from United States. it comes with a pretty powerful grow light FC-E3000. But Unfortunately it broke only after 1 weeks of usage. The Rotating knob stopped responding to dimming function. The push button only turns lights OFF/ON. And without having the ability to control the Light intensity I was left with nothing but 100% light, 400+ PPFD and 25+ degree Temp in my Grow Tent. Hence I Disconnected the Two of the Centre Light bars and Increased the Height to maximum at about 1.3 Feet from plants. This at times was showing between 230-300 PPFD but it now it's back at showing 400 here and there. At the very least the tent temperature is 23-24. I Contacted Mars Hydro notified that I'm in different Country and that I'm helpless and I can't basically send you the Unit for a replacement since I'd killing my plants at that point so please either 1) sell me a new controller stand alone unit to my country. I'll pay upfront. or 2) send me new unit and I'll send back as soon as fresh unit arrives and I swap the malfunction unit. I'll bear shipping cost upfront for both ways. But it's been like 3-4 days no conclusion we're still figuring out and yet to get to any conclusion. Hence I ended up placing order for a AC infinity 6 inch exhaust fan which comes with AC infinity 69 Pro controller( a separate unit that can connect to Mars hydro Grow Lights using RJ45 Cable Type B Connecter). It's cool how just one thing can add a whole Semi-Automation to Grow Tent Environment. Not gonna lie I did thought at this point that I had in fact made my tent buying decision in a jiffy without looking at all the other options. I hope Mars Hydro Fixes it provided that I had invested my faith in them with my money at around 1200 usd( Tent cost about 600 USD + about 600 in Shipping and import fee). Prepared Cal-Mag Buffered Coco-Perlite Mix for Coming week. Plants are already on a Light Feed Schedule with a 3 Part series by General Hydroponics. 1st Week Nutrients Diet Per Gal Water 2ml CalMag 1 ml micro 1 ml Grow 0.5 ml Bloom Ph-6.1 TDS - 277 UPDATE : 4 February : - I learned First week starts "After" the Cotyledons when first true leaves show up. Which means I've been actually in my first week only. Putting an end to my anxiety over my current plant sizes. Also, Mars Hydro replied with a humble gesture and decided to replace the dimmer at no Additional cost, They told me I could keep the faulty unit which means I don't need to spend money on returning it. and they're directly shipping to my country without any extra fee (a cherry on top). I'm yet to get the tracking but it should arrive at the very least sometime before I hit the Flowering. My first week plants look somewhat healthy despite a little light stress in the early stage. Although the Plants heights not been upto the desirable min. so far which is mostly because light was throwing too much ppfd in the early stages. Hello, This beautifull threesome of ladies have been bend over this week. As new(2) lights are on there way, they need to be trained a bit so the space would fill up (3×3 or 90x90). Ive tried first to chiroprac 1 of them but it was still very flexible, so I took some rope and started bending. But I reflected first to now what I intend to reach. As a result, they really bended very far and ive opend up a hole new set of branches to grow better faster stronger. 🤖 Looking forward to the new grow pattern! Grow safe 🍀🍀🍀

Start of week 3 looking good starting to get frosty fan leaves which has never happened in my soil grows so this is very interesting. Definitely enjoying the ease of this system it's almost annoying how easy it is. And floraflex has been a dream of a fertilizer holds pH very well not chasing the pH constantly. All I do is top off 33% strength nutrient solution once a week, 33% strength silica calmag and hydroguard once a week then top off with just regular pH tap water. Water from my tap is 98 ppm so I'm not worried about getting a ro system.

I did do the Flip with My 8 of my Clones.. They are all between 12 & 15 inches Tall. I only have about 3 feet of Space between the Lights and The Ladies. So its all Trial in Error... Thank Goodness it has been all Trial so far.. Flower room is Holding at 79.3 F & 52% Rh And 70.5 F 47 % RH During lights out. I need to find out what I am working with these Clones. I have 5 different Strains.. #1 1-Blue Alien.... #2. 2-Gorilla Glues#4's #3- 2 Tangerine Dream... #4. 6- Ghost OG Kush... #5 1 - Sun Set Sherbert..... Then I am going to Stay with Gorilla Glue and Green Crack since I have over 40 Seeds.. I prefer the 1 st Generation way better then Clones.. Much Easier to train them from seed...

Bisher ein optimaler Run, keine Wachsstumsstörungen durch Stress, keine Defizite ersichtlich. Möglicherweise mein bester Run bisher. Sie bekommen Bat Guano als Microbenquelle, Rohr Molasse als Futter Quelle für die Microben, Dann Hesi Vit, eine Enzym Konzentration ( max2. Tropen auf 5 L) & Seawead fertilazior, was das genau bringt weiß ich nicht genau aber es wirkt 😄🏽‍♂️

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Con una temperatura entre 23'5/24'5° encendido y 16° apagado con una humedad entre 60/80%. Con el led de 150w al 75% para poder aprovechar bien los lúmenes en sus diferentes fases. Está semana le tocará cambio de maceta por una de 3 litros ya que está en 250 centilitros. Por el momento marcha muy bien con buen color buena forma y asta se le puede ver la capa de glándulas que tiene sobre las hojas.

La sexta semana será la última de vegetativo para comenzar la floración. Está comenzando a oler bastante, se siente en todo mi cuarto. Actualmente invirtiendo en una manera de disminuir el olor. Esta semana hubo demasiadas variaciones de temperatura y humedad, me parece que la afectaron un poco pero ella continúa creciendo fuerte. Buenos humos 🍃 happy growing

Friday 1st December 2023 So today marks the start of week 2! Both plants are growing every day, everything seems to be going well so far! The TS600 *should* be arriving this weekend so that will be a nice upgrade. I've started with nutes today, introduced CalMag, Biobizz Grow and Canna Rhizotonic whilst following all feeding advice I can find online. Got my PH Pen calibrated properly today, after mixing my first batch of feed the PH was 8.7! I'm glad I took the time to review those readings as I'm sure this would've been very bad for the plants. Brought the PH down to 6.5 on the nose and gave both plants a good watering, won't give them anymore for a few days and see how they respond over the next few hours. Fingers crossed! Any advice on watering, feeding and nutrients would be greatly appreciated 🙂 Saturday 2nd December The post man must've hated me today! Lots of stuff delivered for the tent and I've installed it all, up and running! Gone for a 4 inch inlibe fan with carbon filter exhausting out the top of the tent, completely invisible from the outside, almost silent and feels like good airflow. My Mars Hydro TS600 also arrived, so hooray for no more purple photos! The light intensity is a huge increase over the amazon special in the tent prior to this, but it's done well so far so I'll stash it away as an emergency backup unit. The TS600 seems to be a perfect fit in the 80x80 tent, it's exceptionally light and wickedly bright. Here's to hoping the plants benefit from a few conscious upgrades 😊 No watering today as media still damp, plants looking healthy and pushing out more leaves every time I check them. Hopefully we are doing well so far! Sunday 3rd December Plants are continuing to grow well, I do think the new light has made a good difference to them! Have made a point of swapping the pots left to right and rotating the plants to make sure they get even light coverage. Using the extractor and carbon filter now as the plants have started to give off an aroma. Going well and nothing seems to be struggling, I'll keep doing what I'm doing and follow my feed schedules. See you tomorrow! Monday 4th December Plants looking great again. After doing research decided to go up to my 11L pots in plenty of time to prevent as much stress as possible. Surrounded the old fabric pots with coir, surgically removed the old 7L pot with a razor blade and lifted it out ever so carefully. Went super smoothly, the roots are nowhere near the outer edges of the 7L pots anyway so they just slid out with minimal disturbance to the plants or the substrate around them. I hope this was successful as I took extra care and followed some good guidance. Lightly watered to encourage the roots to their new home, fingers crossed they hardly noticed what happened and have minimal stress as a result, but I'm expecting growth to slow as a result and I'll take it nice and steady from here. Tuesday 5th December Checked the plants at 7am before work and they looked very sorry for themselves. Droopy and exhausted looking, I spent the whole day at work convinced I'd come home to two dead plants from transplant shock. Instead I've come home to two ladies that have stretched their legs and grown even more! Super relieved, let's see how they go this next few days with more space to root in to 😁 Wednesday 7th December Plants are doing great! Spreading out and growing really well, the soil was bone dry when I checked them at 7pm so I mixed a fresh batch of nutrients up and gave them a steady watering. Lots of new leaf development, I'm really happy so far 🙂 Thursday 8th December Came home from work to lots more growth, as a first time grower it's absolutely amazing just how fast these things grow! They don't seem to be struggling at all and I'm being really careful watering them. I have also introduced a cheap 2L humidifier for the tent, running it on low to see how it affects the overall humidity as it keeps dipping low. It's winter here so really dry with central heating. I guess we keep going as we have been and see what week 3 brings us!
