End of the second week of the stretch and pretty much as expected. One male has gone off early spilling pollen everywhere. The females Id say are a little behind this one but no real worries - we got another 2 males in there ready and waiting to burst at the right time👍. We’ve now pared down the whole tent for pollination and taken cuttings of each fem. Plant for a separate run. Best part there is that we have 3 identified phenos of both indica and sativa dominant traits so we’re gonna get a really even look at what the genetic has to offer, while at the same time being able to isolate desirable traits in the resulting F2 seed. Pretty sick outcome to date 🔥. We moved over to GHE nutes this week to save the Druid nutes for the fem run in the recirc system. Stronger brand for sure, but similar in value and ease. All told, everything is proceeding far better than expected. The rest is just praying that we found a kickass combination in the polyhybrid mix🤞. Till next week yall👊. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I've been away for a week, leaving my tent in the care of a friend. Coming back I was surprised to see how much bud growth has occurred, as you can see colas are really starting to stack up, and trichromes are already appearing. Pineapple Express is growing as amazingly as ehs always seems to, and this time around there's certainly a lot more of her to be seen. At only three weeks into flowering, there seems to be a lot of potential for the weeks to come. I spent 2 hours trimming leaves today, mainly in spots where they were rubbing against other colas, and there's a good amount of space for each branch so far. Really excited to see what develops. Esta semana hicimos la última poda de bajos y alicales , es una de las últimas podas q hacemos! Después de esto la vamos a pasas a 10 litros y ya la mandamos a florecer creo q esta más q lista para arrancar el proceso de floración

First grow so don't really know what to expect but would say it's going pretty well. Weak smell when I take her out to water + feed, but otherwise don't notice it at all. She's really shot up since I started using nutes and switched to flowering, as well as giving up on a few of the lower leaves to focus on flowering. Now looking forward to watching the buds fattening up.

She might not be the biggest but she's also a small pot with limited amount of organic nutrients but as they say you live and you learn.. I'm not saying organics aren't good I'm saying if you're going to do organics do it the right way or don't do it at all..
