Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed. Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying. As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.

Hey everyone! It's week 2 of flower and this week was a surprise! The girl on the back, the one that has the "long" stem leaves and I didn't have high hopes started to grow a lot and develop quite fast! I'm quite impressed by her! Flowers are also starting to be way more developed this week, which is absolutely amazing I'd say and looks very pretty! This week was very uneventful besides that! And since they are growing so well I decided to increase the amount of nutrients! 😍 I also trimmed a lot of leaves from both babies speciallyy the one from the back) and played with the LST a bit more. Both of them were quite bushy (specially the one in the back) and I hope this won't affect them negatively! Probably not but we never know. Anyway, that's all for now! This diary is for Nova OG by Anesia Seeds Indica Dom Flowering time- 8 to 9 weeks Height - Med to Tall Yield - High THC- some where between 22% to 32% THC Average would be 27% with %5 + or - That's a big swing. Might not be as stable as I hoped it to be. But I think that's where the strong mutant plants come from. I hope it's as strong as I want it to be. Taste - Very sweet, fruity taste with peppery hints. Aroma- Coffee with lemon undertones Effect - Focused, uplifted cerebral high which is followed by a deep body relaxation. Indoor/Outdoor Medical properties - Yes. Top genetics - OG x unknown strain Special features - High THC Strain. Is a perfect plant for SCROG, and needs a large amount of food. I got new 5x5 grow tents and new Spider Farms lights SF 4000. I've got them set on 50% till see how the plants like them. I've read about the new lights but they are new to me and it might take a bit to get used to. But I got experience on my side😃. Chuck.

Not many to comment this week. The plant is develoving good and dense buds and the smell is increasing. I like how the flowers look. According to the breeder it should be ready in 9 weeks before germination, i think it will be more

All but two of the clones rooted. 4 of the best ones from "Sundance" (she is the best pheno type of the three) will get indoor grown again and the rest go to an outdoor greenhouse.

Spoted some herms, removed all i could see...only few were already fully grown...didn't spot any seeds yet...so not too bad i hope.. Increased lights to 12.2h, perhaps it gives them a little boost.. 3 weeks to go

An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

24.02.24 - 1.03.24 Red hot cookies performing stunnigly as always. This is a true beauty and a wonderful plant. Very healthy and sturdy. Yesterday I already noticed some distinct candy mandarine aroma with some chocolate cookies mixed in. Lets hownshe develop those lovely colours ans smell. One of the older plants is already fed 7 times a day. Thats a record for me. In around 9l of coco.

Start of week 3 of flowering. Bud site development over the last week was impressive! The Do-si-dos is starting to smell and is already sticky to the touch. Hopefully this girl will stretch a bit more this week.

This week was really good. She has recovered very well. I just topped her and decided not to train her this week. Maybe next week, i watch how she goes this week. Have a nice week and thank you watching my diary✌️

Day 35....all plants in full stretch and seem to be loving the organic spirulina...im adding a tablespoon of powder per 1.5 litres...planning to only feed them spirulina till the plants tell me otherwise.

Autos have been transferred, looking good so far..

What time is left till harvest?

Permant marker the one seedling I could not be more happy with. It has a distinct different look to it than any other plant in the tent with strong growth going on. I'm sad about the other seedling thou the 1st set of leaves were kinda deformed and it has like a spiral thing going on where new growth comes from. Hopefully it comes back around, I always like seeing atleast 2 phenos of a strain I feel it gives you a better idea of what a strain is. It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Everything after germination has been pretty smooth. The plants in veg had a couple small brown spots due to under watering but no extreme signs or any abnormalities.
