Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. GIRL SCOUT IS THE ONE WITH 16 MAIN STEMS: MAINLINED WHILE TOPPING 4-TIMES Absolutely this one is the best one i've ever grown. this girl tastes just so amazing, and the bud formation was great and REALLY dense :) for a third grow also this was a pretty chilled out project, not much in terms of pests, deficiencies or whatever. loved the plagron grow+bloom (terra) and the PK booster (greensensation) here :)

Barneys farm Pineapple Chunk 23rd Feb 2020 👆 Shit I love this strain!! I mean check out the thickness of the buds on this girl. 👌👌 And they still have a long way to go too. 😜 This pheno is very Fruity smelling with tropical fruit being the main aroma I can detect. There is also a lot of stickiness amongst those flowers so I maintain the fans general blowing direction over them as I'd hate to see mold set in because of all the humidity we are getting at the moment. We haven't really seen much of the sun for the last 10 days or so as it's been very overcast with the odd Thunderstorm or light rain shower. The Heat's still around tho despite the clouded conditions , with the daily temps still hitting the mid Thirties. The Pineapple chunk lady is on her second day of no watering or feeding to allow the soil to dry a little and allow more air to reach the root zone. When I do water it will be mixed up with a little liquid potassium and Mycorrhizae foor the roots. Not a lot else to report other than I left my radio playing some classical music for the girls in the greenhouse , as I have read that they can respond well to it. Who knows? 10/05/2018 I'am thinking about 2 weeks out ?🙏 Cooler weather coming soon, buds starting to swell up i believe. #2,and #4 are the only ones to get any mold. All others are clear of any sign of mold. Number 1 seems to have more of the ghost 👻 train haze smells a!most identical to it but a little something different.Brrrr it's 41° out , now it's 39° Ps I think #1 will go 70 -78 days 10-11weeks? Potted plants will be at 63-72 days but just a guess the trich's will tell me when.👍

She’s showing her vigor now exploding all these flowers! both plants are showing no bad signs or stress so I’m happy they’re happy! I’ll plan to Defoliate again in 4 weeks then closer to harvest! Wish me luck gromies!

Es Fehlen noch paar Wochen zwischen drine wenn ich mal dazu komme wird es noch aktualisiert. Leider ist mein 80x80 zelt deutlich zu klein. die Linke Pflanze 94cm wurde absichtlich um 0.2 mS überdüngt und ist doppelt so groß wie die Rechte.

The plants look really happy, with a rich and vibrant color. They are now growing taller more slowly, but the side branches are getting thicker. The buds are becoming really fat and are completely iced out with trichomes. The calyxes continue to swell, and more trichomes are visible, starting to turn slightly milky. Some of the white hairs are slowly turning brown. I estimate about 2-4 weeks until harvest. The scent is simply delicious, with a pleasant creamy berry aroma. The buds are also incredibly resinous, making your fingers sticky as soon as you touch them. The plants are only lightly defoliated, with dead leaves selectively removed and small shoots trimmed only at the bottom of the plant. The ladies are also extremely thirsty. Besides the regular fertilized watering, they also receive tap water from the bottom, which they usually absorb within a few minutes. I also made an extra video to better show the size of the buds, and using the flash at night highlights the trichomes even more.

First time ever they will have a chance to try in starter size portion at first bio grow and fish mix. Watering 400ml per pot. 01/11 day 24 Spend some time with my girls today 😁 added about an inch of soil to each pot and applied LST on main colas. Who knows maybe they will be ready for scrog next week 02/11 day 25 I was amazed when opened cabinet in the morning. Girls showed no signs of any stress from previous day LST. They bounced back right away and growing still in steady manner. Decided to add 2 never use before nutes to menu, Sugar royal from Plagron and Bio haveven from Biobizz. At first just low dosage 0.25ml per ltr. Watered appreciate 400ml each pot. 04/11 day 27 I like how they responded to training. Decided to adjust tie closer to the top of main cola and lowered girls a bit more. Noticed a speed up in general development. Started tucking leaves couple days ago. 05/11 day 28 It's the end of the week Today another foliage shower water + fish mix. I can see that girls like this a lot. Back again, Growmies — with a certain someone who absolutely soaked the soil of his freshly transplanted plants, causing a minor nutrient lockout. 😅 Anyway, I got the airflow going, let the pots dry out properly, and now we’re back on track. Plants are responding well again. Week 9 - Day 59 (from seed) Tropicana Cookies Auto by Fast Buds Update: Yesterday I watered her with 5ml Plagron Green Sensation and 6ml of Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. No pH adjustment. This should help push the buds a bit more in this final phase. Plant status: She’s stacking up nicely! Buds are really starting to swell and fill out, especially around the main cola. There’s a heavy coating of trichomes — mostly milky with just a few clears left, no amber yet from what I can see. The sugar leaves have a nice frost to them and the aroma is getting stronger each day — very sweet and fruity. Leaves are mostly healthy, although a few of the older fan leaves are starting to fade, which is expected at this stage. No major signs of deficiency or stress. I think she’s entering her final push. Based on trichome development and overall appearance, I’d estimate maybe 10–14 days left. I’ll likely start the flush in 3-4 days unless I see amber trichomes sooner. Fast Buds StarDawg Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% watering every other day to every 2 days Im very happy thus far with Stardawg. In week 3 she has really filled out nicely with nice fat leaves. I have decided to minimally train her as well as the FB WG that I also have growing in the 4x4. 🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT!
