Neunte Woche der Blütezeit...was soll ich sagen, echt mega wie die Palme sich Woche für Woche entwickelt. Macht richtig Spaß! Ist bisher aber auch die schönste Pflanze unter meiner Obhut. Hat auch einige Fehler verziehen. Und ihr Geruch haut mich wirklich um. Selbst der gar nicht so alte AKF schafft es nicht den pervers geilen Smell zu dezimieren💪😂 Der ganze Keller duftet nach herrlich fruchtigen Skunk. Diese Woche darf sie weiter ihre buds dicker und harziger werden lassen. Keinerlei Mängel oder Stress zu sehen. Geile Lady 11.04. Schon einmal einige Blätter entfernt. Die Trichome verkünden das baldige Ende. Am 13.04. wird es soweit sein, denke ich, soweit der Plan. Einerseits irgendwie schade, weil es echt ne schöne Pflanze ist, aber andererseits wollen wir doch alle nur das eine, nicht wahr?!😜 Also ab in die Jolle😂

Was a great plant to grow pretty resilient but once I got the hang I kept it going I know this might not be the best but it’s one of my first harvests ( all started around same time just harvested differently )

Day 7 - Everything seems to be going ok they are all growing about the same pace! Day 8 - They are all growing pretty equal right now , extremely happy with how things are going!✌️🏼🌱 Day 11 - one plant has some twisted leaves hopefully it’s nothing serious😫 will be keeping a eye on her, other than that they all seem to be growing great! 5/3 WATERED EVERYTHING WITH A SHOT GLASS. STUNTED PURPLE PUNCH THAT TOTALLY SRIED OUT GOT HALF A SHOT GLASS. Doesn't seem possible but the plants look bigger and better than they did yesterday. Cups are really drying out fast. Takes a while for it to drink up that little shot glass of water. Sits right on top for a while. I know they'll tell me when they're ready to transplant but I'm planning about a week week and a half until transplant to the 3's. I'm moving my cage and getting supports setup ahead of time. Soil is properly stored. Need to sanitize grow bags and tools. I'm super excited for this year. At least this year I don't have to start out fixing others problems from clones. 5/4 Plants still continuing to grow at a rapid pace. Stunted purple punch is doing better. Plants seem like they are using more water. Soil seemed dry. Ill stop qnd ask my buddy but everything LOOKS awesome. UPDATE: I stopped and showed my buddy some pictures and videos and after getting some advice I'm considering increasing water intake on the 10th planet and the blueberry cheese. He said I could go up to 1 1/2 shot glasses or even two and he didn't think I'd see problems. Just watch for run off. I figured I'd weigh the dry cup of soil and see what the other plants weigh before I make my decision. This dude has definitely helped in the past and hasn't been wrong. I think either way it would be fine. I got a QUICK peak at them around 3pm and they were all "praying to the sun" and their was company so I didn't weigh the plants considering in that glance they looked even better than before! 5/5 SOMEWHERE HERE I MESSED UP THE DATE AND I CANT SEEM TO FIND WHETE SO IM JUST CORRECTING IT HETE AND MOVING FORWARD. I weighed a dry cup of soil which weighed about 180-190 grams today. One of the 10th planet seedlings weighed in at like 190 so they definitely are getting a dry cycle and need more water. Same with the Blueberry cheese. They were light and are growing like crazy. Thing is they look so perfect I don't wanna change anything. I spoke to my commercial buddy and he said I could increase to two shot glasses without issue he thought. I decided on a shot glass and a half for the 10th planet and Blueberry Cheese Cake. I talked to another grower (my buddies mom whos very familiar with the strain) about Barney's purple punch and I guess they look good and take a while to really "take off". When I weighed some of the purple punch the weight of a small plant was in the 220's. I decided to try 'half a shot glass' instead of a full one for the purple punch. UPDATE: I watered between 5am and 6am and went to check around 11. It's 11:11 right now! I wish for a successful harvest and healthy plants! This morning the plants seemed a little droopy. It could've been in my head but looking at them after watering and they look substantially better. Leaves up! Praying to the sun! It's not going to be long until the 10th planet and Blueberry Cheese will need to be transplanted. I just want to make sure I've got a solid rootball before I even think of transplanting. 5/6 WOW. Adjusting the water made the plants take off faster! I felt the cups and they want more room! Unfortunately I left my soil in the garage. I'm wondering how long it will take to warm up otherwise these girls would be on their new temporary 3 gallon homes. Purple punch REALLY took off. Might be good to give the soil a day or two to warm up. Tomorrow's my wife's birthday though....hope she likes transplanting cannabis....that was a joke. UPDATE: I sanitized a tote and mixed 3 part soil fox farm ocean forest, happy frog and 707 in a bin. I then chose the blueberry cheese cake to test for transplant. I was afraid plants were dry but I stupidly went ahead anyhow. I tried the cut the solo cup method and it wouldn't cut down all the way. Anyway u thought i lost that first one but I didn't. Not yet anyway. 45 mins later and they looked great. Still I had put everything away and decided to give the others a few more days. Plus my wife's birthday is tomorrow. I did get some outdoor prep done. 5/7 NO TRANSPLANT SHOCK. All 5 blueberry cheese are in their new homes and loving it. It's my wife's birthday so I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow to transplant the 10th planet and maybe a couple more for the purple punch. We'll see. Watered the plants in solos. Purple punch got half a shot glass. 10th planet got a full one. Soil should be nice and moist for the transplant. Oh and that ripping the solo cup tip sucks. It NEVER goes all tge way to the bottom and it's like thicker or something down there. Important to have slim scissors or something to snip that tiny bottom piece at the end where it tapers. 5/8 Blueberry Cheese Cake is doing great and doesn't seem like it has any stress. Didn't water. Successfully transplanted 10th planet. Nice white roots. Looks like it's going to be a good year. More wotlrk to do. 5/9 10th planet is looking GREAT! Transplants have gone great this year. Purple punch will be transplanted tonight or tomorrow. I watered the purple punch with less than a shot glass. I'd like to get them transplanted today. I have an idea this is going to be a good season. UPDATE: Went to the house around 6 and brought in a couple more bags of soil so that I can finish my transplants tomorrow. Team #nowater lol seems to be doing great lol. I'll give then water tomorrow. As long as they aren't doing so good. With everything that's going on seeing these succeed feels great. Healthiest plants I've grown so far.

Got on top of the Cal/Mag looks lush now an gave them a nice defol for the last time, got to be my favourite strain grown so far... In week 5 of flowering, the buds all over becoming thicker.😁 some new buds growing in new places like along the main cola. With buds blooming, the plants will get fatter every day. This is a surefire sign they are in full flowering mode. Really starting to have a very intense odour🧐🤓 Some of the plants’ previous white pistil hairs are now turning darker into a brownish or amber colour. At the same time, and the trichomes on the beauties ohh there starting to become opaque. The trichomes becoming milky white and the hairs turning darker, ooh man I cant wait 🤤🤯💚

So I didn't give her the ideal growth conditions to shine but I am very pleased with how she looks and smells. I did grow two of these cake bomb seeds the other being in a 3 gal fabric pot which turned out to be a beautiful male that i did not keep for lack of space purposes. I kept this plant however in a 2 gal clay pot during its entire 6 month life cycle that included roughly almost 4 months of veg followed by 70 days flowering time majority of her life was being cramped in a 3x3 with 6 other plants back when i only had 3 tents. And I wanted to cut her down a few days sooner but my drying tent was behind schedule. A few of my plants were effected by spider mights due to a clone that i had brought home and did not properly Quarantine. I was however very fortunate and lucky to eradicate the problem once and for all 5 weeks after noticing. With weekly ipm treatments of Organisheild (killed mights before flipping to flower with foliar sprays in-between to wash away any contaminates. so now that we have that out the way. But cake mlbomb actually fought the infestation off within 2-3 weeks This plant is very easy to train and responds extremely well without hesitation. Seeing as how thick the colas were for her small stature i would recommend a Scrog style training.Usually seeing tops turned up within a few hours. Stacking is very solid and tight all the way through. No visible stem structure on most tops even lower buds are round dense balls. I did not do any cold flush on this plants night temps did drop to 66-67°f on few occasions and she has a very visible and vibrant purple tone to her buds and leaves a very beautiful hue of royal purple a deep forrest green bud (taking more visual notes when final cure has finished) around day 18 of flower I was noticing trichome resin surfacing and by day 27 tops were full of white pistols and and frost covered definitely indicating the power punch she would soon deliver. Scents that began to develop were of cream and pound cake like aroma which than later developed into a jelly flavored gummy bear when trimmed before being cut to dry. Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. It's been an interesting week. I had to ask for help with resolving the intense smell coming from my garden... I can smell it from my driveway at this point.. I was advised that I probably turned my fan up way too high, which overloads the carbon filter on the end of my exhaust. I ordered another new one.. turned it down.. and I also had to cut down the cheese auto... all her trichomes were cloudy bit I definatly could have left her for another week... just couldn't handle the smell lol. Ask for help and you shall receive, thanks Growdiaries. And thank you Oozlefinch for the solid advise.. ✌️ I bought a rosin press this week and it's awesome.. she will be used for this grow as soon as things are ready. I cut out my backyard to plan for round #3 for all these plants.. plus a whole lot more! Process/ Environment changes: -Turned down my exhaust fan.. the carbon filter can't keep up with the amount of air being pushed through it.. in the water industry we would call this 'short circuiting'.... The Gorilla cookies is growing well. It's a tall plant with long nugs ( I hope the full out a lot more). I would recommend supporting the branches at this point in the grow. There's a slight smell coming off her and trichome production was late to start compared to most the other plants I have... I suspect she will go past 90 days unfortunately, but I'm excited to see what the finished product looks like. Hitting her with compost teas at a pH of around 6.7 That's it.. I'm on auto pilot at this point.. there's not much I can do except sit back and wait. Thank you Fastbuds
