Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. Song and video number two is from a Group called Midnight Oil and this one is also all about giving back to the Indigenous. And basically giving them the oppurtunity to make decisions for themselves based on their own culture and beliefs and not what the politicians say they should. 6.11. 2023 4:30 - It is time for a thorough flushing of the RQS genetics with osmotic water and I will use flawless finish from advanced nutrients to force the plant to absorb the remaining nutrients from the leaves. 7.11. 2023 5:00 - Careful observation of the trichomes and their coloration, I plan to harvest the plant when the trichomes start to turn amber. At the moment they seem to be slowly turning a milky colour and seem to be "filling up" 8.11. 2023 4:00 - The leaves seem to be slowly losing colour, especially in one RQS genetics the yellowing is quite pronounced. 8.11 2023 4:30 - I will try to remove all the old dead leaves and the ones that are already letting the plants go, but I will not cut any off, only the ones that can be easily removed. 9.11. 2023 20:00 - I think the trichomes are slowly filling up and harvest time is approaching with each passing day. 10.11. 2023 8:00 - I will try to participate in the competition with my 420 genetics for the best photo just for fun :) i have to take some photos with black background but for now it's just a test i will add some. 11.11. 2023 7:00 - The leaves on all plants are turning yellow but the waste water is still around 1800ppm. The odd thing is there are probably a lot of residual salts in the substrate from nutrients. Hopefully we can get as much of it cleared up before harvest. 12.11. 2023 20:00 - I'm waiting for the trichomes to turn amber. I'll be patient. Most of the trichomes are now snow white, but not all.

Love the out come on the 2 of these I ran. One came out a little more with a Chem smell followed by floral like notes While the other no Chem but a very creamy smell to it

Day 57. All goes the best for this girl. How she looked on third week and now - is very nice improvement. Strain is very strong and resiliant to growers mistakes ;))) Mars Hydro TS1000 is dimmed to approximately 80%, great light no doubts , BUT i think i found one issue. That cover sink makes air circulation harder and it looks like she produces a lot more heat when is running on max output. Will take surface thermometer from work next week to check this. Ill post denial if i was stupid, but looks like 240W quantum runs colder than 150 upside down sink version. Yesterday girl got 3 liters of pure 6.3 ph water. No feeding in plans for at least two weeks. Happy Growing !!!

trimmed and netted the plants last night, 12/30, and the energy pushed the plants to stretch another 1/2 inch+ this will be the last week of vegetation as I prep this light leaking tent for flower, not a fan of mars hydro at all right now. their poles are the weakest I've encountered yet, too many light leaks and this is the first grow with it. My high cfm fan , which is only a 4", is pulling the fabric too much and causing the leaks to grow a bit. This is not new, its been happening with indoor tents for a while now but I thought a grow company such as MH would have a decent, respectable tent. My solution is Blackout Curtains draped over the sides. However, I am hesitant to do this with the MH tent as the poles for the tent are too weak as it is, tsk tsk tsk mars hydro. will continue to increase the watts the next 6 days HAPPY NEW YEAR a combination of light and fresh soil has made the plants stretch so I will finish tightening up the MH tent today and ill start flower tomorrow, day 62. while adjusting the height I must have nudged the dial for the dimmer and sent it to 184w. this would have been a big jump but manageable but I lowered the light 7" and the plants took a bit of a hit. I adjusted the light back down to 160w and I'll let the plants recover before anymore adjustments.

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Red Mandarine still not red unfortunately.... hope she will be lol. There is no any issue at all all good not much to report. Let's say we are half way. Buds on the way just need to wait to be done :) Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Jan 23: soaking the autoflowering seeds 1 Thin Mint (TM) 1 Northern light (NL) Jan 24: paper towel Jan 26 NL sprouted EDIT : None of the Thin Mints seeds made it I had a lot of problem with the paper towel going dry since it's so dry here now in the middle of winter.

1.Topped them at the 5th node✂️ 2.The big fan leaves are overshadowing new growth below, so I lst them downwards to open up the lower growth for better light penetration🌞. 3. Transplanted them into their final pots(5gal/20l) smartpots. They recovered super quick, within a day they seemed to be doing great👏🏻 4. Snipped some old unnecessary lower fan leaves, they are getting no light at all, and taking up energy more needed at the top. 5. Otherwise all good no issues thus far.🙏

Almost 2 weeks into flower now and things are starting to look good . The ladies got a nice shape to them looking nice and healthy they have grow a little but not much this past week I can say thats likely due to formation of flowers and getting ready for her last big stretch . All in all things are looking up in the garden cant wait to see what the future holds for me Thanks for reading ! -Happy Growing!

Smells like Blueberry...so fruity

This week was ok I have noticed that she is started to go into pre-flower may be my last week on grow. I don't think she's going to be a big plant because she is going into flower at that size . but I have a lot of work to do with them autos anyway and I knew that from the start .The other plant that I have I've noticed may have a calmag issue. so I have added sensei calmag extra to the mix I would normally do that in coco anyway but didn't think it would need it in the soil but obviously does. I will post a question with a picture of it today to so you can have a look and decide what the issue is but I think it may be a calmag issue thank you for looking at the update and we'll be one every week 👍

Week 7/4 - 13/4 Lovely structure!

It just goes to show great results can come from Autoflowering plants ! This is a incredible strain plenty of taste and smell. With a lovely relaxed stone great for anytime of the day ! But smoke to much and you will feel sleepy ! Great strain helps me sleep and feel relaxed ! Big smile on my face when I smell the buds crushed up in the Grinder 🔥🔥💨💨 zambeza seeds have got some fire at amazing prices !!🔥🔥💚
