Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!! And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack. Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all. Week 3 of flowering! I am planning on moving the girls into a bit bigger tent (70x70x160) so hopefully I have a bit more room to grow tall. They will probably reach about 60 cm and that is the limit for the current tent. I hope to get the humidity down to the range of 40%, but this month is very humid in Berlin 😶‍🌫️

The girls are really starting to take off now. They are growing on average 1-2 inches a day. we should start to see clear preflower this week.

This week, growth is going very well for tarte tatins. 🌿 I am adding anti-midge bird stickers, to prevent their appearance For this grow, I plan to let each plant grow with a large main bud, without topping. 09/16: Fed 30/70 blend of Veg to Bloom to all the photos. Noticed PM on True OG. Didn't notice yet but my OBW (and some other autos) also had a bad PM infection. Light defoliation and trimming 09/21: More PM found. Again light defoliation and trimming. Aphids also found on some of the autos.

Let’s Go Day day 61 from seed !!! This week went real well! As you can see all these girls are starting to stack very well! Everything is pretty much the same, we have switched to fully bloom an these ladies are just Looking super healthy , we are getting a nice smell of grapes on these Ogreberrys ! Bruce Banner is packing crystals like a Mofo too an super stanky , all very happy about this run ! Still got a nice few more weeks of bloom to go let’s watch em stack ! Day 42: Starting off Week 6 and this lady is doing awesome. I am however finding discoloration on fan leaves and I am thinking it came from the SledgeHammer flush I did. But going into the 2nd week of flower I truly couldn't be happier with the progress. She is growing well enough you can see the changes daily.. Truly an awesome strain 😎.. 12/28 More and more stacking each day.. this lady is really swelling up and she has such beautiful thick white hairs coming out right now just looking super healthy.. Finally got some of that Recharge powder 🙌 gonna start that on next watering and see how she takes to that. Will update again soon but until then stay lit growmies

This week, I had to cut three leaves—two smaller ones that looked like some kind of insect had laid eggs on them, and one of the big sun leaves. Finally, I can see some brown trichomes on the B-grade buds. I thought about harvesting soon, but it will probably take another two weeks or so... Or I may have to harvest her week by week. I haven't decided yet. What I can say is that increasing the amount of fertilizer has helped improve the health of the leaves. I should have increased it sooner; it seems that autos need more nutrients earlier than photoperiod plants.

Figured I would start a part two, since GD doesn't go further than 32 weeks. I only have about 6-8 weeks left, so this won't be a long one, but it will be detailed.

1st week of flower....the girls are looking great and are all confirmed females yayyy...I will definitely a little and let the ladies be happy this gon be some good quality medicine

Day 51, 31st of October 2020: Hiya!... Time goes fast basically I went on holiday only for 6 days so my friend looked after them.... and miracle happens .... Ladies and Gentlemens ... They impressively grew 20 cm.... look at them explosion ... I had to do LST and gave them darkness one day and switch the lamp to 12/12 from today.... They want to flower .... The smell is getting stronger as well I bought extraction fan system with filter which is already in arrived today but not in use yet..... Everything seems to be good and everything will continue the same way well from next week pump a lot of nutrition they will need it ;) Cheers!

Its been amazing watching them grow in the first week 😍 Lets go for week 2 🤞 I think they look a bit heat stressed so i raise the lamp a few centimeters.. Day 8- 100ml Water Day10- 400ml Water Day 12- 1L Water + 0.7 ml Root Fast Day 13 -----> I gave the same amount of water to all 4 plants last time but #1 and #2 look overwater i think... #3 has a diferent structure and a bit darker, probably because the soil is to rich. Big Bud is looking perfect 😍

The smell is very good. A good weight if I consider that I have made some mistakes with Calmag.

Welcome to my Slurircane Fem Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer. Veg Days 19-31 Days since sprouted 29-41 Week 5 & 6 Going well. Growth is slow. But I did top her a lot. And ended up removing a big chunk of her that she was pushing out. (removed her next set above the one on day 35) and topped all nodes then to compensate. So topped 8 times × the main top. Noticed a very light fade in-between the vains, showing a very light mag def. Sprayed with a Epsom Salt Foliar spray 200ppm and dosed her with a 250ppm feed 6.6ph for both. All in all. I'm very happy with how this wk went. Still a few days to go in this week. Growth has been rapid. Doesn't look like it. But, she was much further ahead. I've redid her whole process 3x now. And, each time. It's set her back. 2-3 weeks in this shape with solid LST and she'll be fine. She's going under my SE5000 now with co2. All my 3x3 will be covered. Just waiting on my lux Uni-T meter. (To make my own ppfd map as the lux meter comes with an app that converts your lights lux spectrum into ppfd. You can set your area size. And find which ppfd is in what area of your tent by doing grids tests, software is still in development phase, but looks very promising. Has a 97% match to the apogee brands, they're the ppfd meter you see on all major light markers, and growers that have 700e to spare) Back to this girl. She is a great grower, as I said. Look back at week 4. She could of easily been flipped and made for a mid sized indica. I'm going a different route. And having fun shaping and making an even canopy. She has thin fingered leaves. So, not a bad indica to do a scrog with. But, I think I'll settle for 2 more weeks of growth and good LST and I'll put her to the flip. Thanks for viewing these 2 weeks.
