15.5.25: It's been 48 hours after planting, and we have 2 extraordinarily identical seedlings! 🌱🌱 This time germinating, I did not use the humidity domes or spay the leaves. I adjusted the dehumidifier to around 50% RH. TEMP: 26°C. Soil PH: 7.0 Soil temp: 20°C Water PH: 6.0 Water about 20mls 3x a day. I used plain, dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I'm very excited to see how we go! 🌱🤞💚✌️🍃😊 18.5.25: The seedling 🌱 is looking nice and strong. Yesterday, I started watering around the perimeter of the pot to help the ecosystem of the soil get started. I'm watering with plain, dechlorinated, PH'd water. PPM: 545 PH: 6.0-6.5 The F1 Hybrid experiment has thus far produced identical results. The experiment compares two different styles of growing; one using Organic Dry Amendments the whole way through seed to harvest. The other plant, seed to harvest, will be receiving Liquid Nutrients. Raspberry Cough and Candyland are sprinting out in front of the holy punch. They both seem stronger and denser. I’ll do a second run of the holy punch next grow to see if I can get a better outcome!

This week, I continued the LST on each plant everyday. Unfortunately, I broke one branch of the Cashew Kush by pulling too hard on it. Since it was one of the double branches (see last week photo), I'm curious to see if the other smaller branch will now increased its growth to compensate the loss. The growth is good despite some probable nitrogen excess (curled tip + dark green leaves) on the Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush. This is not the first time I'm facing this with Sensi Seeds plants in this pre-fertilized soil, but they always turned out fine in the end! I added a bit more water to these two plants to try to eliminate a bit of nitrogen excess. I also increased the watering frequency. I wanted to give some light to the lower branches without defoliating too much, too soon. So, I get the idea of removing only some leaflets on all the plants. I don't know if this technique has a name and if it's useful. 4 week flower

I’ve been a bit behind on posting, but everything is still going strong at day 135, with trichomes just starting to cloud up. I did harvest the Cookies Gelato, but honestly, it wasn’t my favorite grow. It was tough chopping both a gifted Humboldt Orange Cream Pop clone and the Cookies Gelato at the same time. The Humboldt absolutely dominated—it wasn’t even a fair fight.

Can't wait to see it grow !!

* ********* Week 8 - May 30 to June 5, 2020 - Day 50 to 56 ********** * Getting caught up on pictures......... Bud sites finally set in this week and the girls are in full flower now. They have been switched back to 18/6 light cycle as well........they spent 4 nights at 12/12 so I didn’t want to push it further and risk low productivity in 12/12 or her being overly stressed coming back to 18/6 after too long so it was time to switch back. GSC is staying in her own tent now.....she is too big to go back in with the other girls. I have to order a couple of things to make it work but feel that is the best answer. GSC2 went back into the flower tent with the others and just put her on several risers to bring canopy up. The girls need some leaves removed here and there but there are actually very few leaves in the big picture so I am very reluctant to remove too many. The girls seemed to grow smaller leaves and bud sites are smaller right now. Lots of branch on GSC but I am not looking to grow branches😃Branches stiffened up more this week and have been working a little more silica into her feed. Strong stock = big yield👍 GSC has been feeding hard this week. She is having no issues going through 3L a day of feed. GSC2 is being fed the same right now and she is also stiffening up and looking more “perky” all the time......forming into a cannabis plant more now🤞GSC2 has done so well with her bad transplant and growing out of the pot almost sideways......she is a fighter!!! Stay the course for now and get the second environment dialled in for the big girl!!! Little more detail........ May 30/20 - Day 50 - Dry out day for the girls - GSC still not set bud sites.....three days at 12/12 now?? - GSC2 is looking taller and side branches are reaching up more. May 31/20 - Day 51 - 8L water mixed with Dual Fuel @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag @ 1ml = 1300ppm and 5.9pH - GSC took 5L - runoff 900ppm and 5.7pH - GSC2 took 3L - runoff 1300ppm and 5.9pH - Leaf strip harder on both girls today - GSC is 21” tall and slowly forming bud sites. - GSC still on 12/12 light cycle June 1/20 - Day 52 - dry out day - GSC has a number of hairs coming out today......buds slowly forming, Leaves are smaller. - moved light cycle back to 15/9 today.......slowly working GSC back to 18/6. June 2/20 - Day 53 - 7L water with Vitathrive @ 2ml, Rhinoskin, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 950ppm and 5.9pH - GSC took roughly 4L and GSC2 took 3L.........no runoff from either girl - GSC has more hairs popping and she is progressing. - GSC tent back to 18/6 today. - GSC2 is showing some spotting on her leaves. June 3/20 - Day 54 - dry out day - GSC stem is stiffening and hairs are looking good. - GSC2 is in full flower now as well and looking good....not tall though. June 4/20 - Day 55 - big water day - GSC given 6L with Massive @ 3ml, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1025ppm and 6.1pH - she was super dry and took all 6L no problem, - GSC2 given 4L with Massive @ 3ml, VeloKelp, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 1275ppm and 6.1pH - GSC2 given some kelp and increased based nutes a bit. - GSC in veg tent by herself......she is just to big to go back in the other tent!!!!😀 - GSC2 is getting squished a bit in the other tent as well as they are all doing well and filling in the tent. - GSC2 is put on milk crate to raise her up a bit and some more light on her. June 5/20 - Day 56 - dry out day - GSC didn’t look as happy today as I would have thought? - GSC2 on the other hand is firming up and looking a lot more like a plant in flower now👍

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Uaooh guys! Still nn I believe I have achieved a similar result this variety has really amazed me x the amount of resin leaking from those beautiful multi-color purple gems! I had never grown a gorilla and now I understand the reason for its fame! Not to mention the really pungent intense smell that remains stuck to you throughout the day! Fastbuds really this time you exceeded my expectations !

Day 29 - Things going along nicely .... i trimmed down some of the bigger bottom leaves, i didn't have enough soil to fill the pots, and the plants are short, bushy, weird little things, that filled out the inside of the pots..... they are only 15cm tall, but the leaves are 10+ cm .... really weird little plants.... haha.... i decided to trim the fk out of one of the ones in the double pot, and practiced topping on her.... i'll cut her down maybe trimmer her of the pot, and focus on just the 2........ they seem to be still growing upwards, so i'm not in a hurry to put em into flower mode......... on the main one i noticed some neut deficiencies ... so i upped the neuts.... should be ok, i put a good heavy neut and it stopped the spots etc..... i think some bug or something got in the double pot and is livin in there, but he doesn't eat much, haha....... the main stalks are as big as my thumb and under each canopy is all the branches..... it's really strange, to go in under all the growth and see it all .... they look kinda small, but the entire under canopy of leaves is all full .... i'm moving the huge sized leaves out and pulling each branch up over them as they grow..... this is 21 THC and 19 CBD, so it's all the good stuff for medicine ... the smell is getting abit noticable and i'm hoping the exhaust fan arrives from china soon.... just got positive ventilation into a carbon fil. ... and daily air out........ i think i had the led lights too low..... so i'll raise em abit more and see if i can get em to stretch .... Day 30 -- added some video's...... daylight vids... worth watchin for a laugh ...... first grow, so idk what i'm doin, ... any help/comments appreciated Day 32 -- added some pics of the late night trim and LST,... idk looks ok.... Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.
