New test

Girls are looking great so far! I added about 2ml/g to the reservoir and the plants responded well. Got a good explosion of growth over the last few days. I was able to start LST training the largest of the 4 today and the other 3 will be a day or 2 until they will be ready to start LST. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Day 78 - The start of week 12 and from looking at her and the trichs, she probably won’t be getting chopped this weekend. Gave her a good flush with the sledgehammer yesterday so hopefully the depletion of nutes will push her to the end sooner rather than later. Day 79 - Still just waiting but her leaves are starting to yellow a bit so she seems to be sucking whatever she can out of them to finish up. Can’t wait for her to be done to get a taste. Day 80 - Leaves are starting to fade pretty good now and almost certain I’ll be chopping her this week or this coming weekend at the latest. Trying to push some more amber trichs into her. Day 81 - No real updates, she’ll be getting the chop no later than this weekend. Most likely on Saturday.

* ***************** Week 3 of Growth From Seed, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********************** * Started the head scratching more this week and wondering what is going on with the slower growth she has experienced the last 4 days or so. She is looking good and not dark....environment is good.....what the heck is the pH so high when been given feed well inline and below 6.0......why runoff numbers in low 7's so early in the run?? A number of heavy feedings this week so that I can read the runoff numbers for her. Going to keep staying the course with feeding but lower the pH because she is still progressing and its still pretty early in the run........not much veg time for an auto though so I need to get this figured out pretty soon. Gave her some Epsom salts this week as well as I have been battling Magnesium deficiency the last run or two. Always just used CalMag but I don't think the girls always want as much Calcium as they are given this way though. Fed at a rate of 1tsp/gal in a two litre feed early on in the week. Little more Detail........... Apr 25/20, Day 15 - 500ml feed - VitaThrive and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 6.0pH - small feed of base nute to try and perk her up. - noticed the lower leaves are droopy while the upper leaves are perky still. - Still working on dialing the light for these girls as they are happier at 30" away from canopy. Apr 26/20 - Day 16 - 500ml feed - AN Sensi Cal @ 1.5ml, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/gal - 700ppm and 6.0pH - The Epsom Salt alone shot the ppm to 500 - Only have the veg switch on for the UnitFarm light. - feeling some of the other girls are showing some magnesium deficiency with the yellowing perimeter of the leaves. Apr 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - Cut slits in the bottom of the bag today to let more water out, more quickly when feeding. - Wondering if the root zone is staying too wet and therefore causing some stunted growth. - She has been falling a sleep too early in the day so either too much light or getting root bound? Apr 28/20 - Day 18 - needing some runoff numbers to see what the hell is going on - fed 3L - Piranha @ 1ml, VooDoo @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - going in was 575ppm and 5.3pH - runoff numbers were 1450ppm and 6.9pH - WTF......bring it down......next feed at only 500ppm and 5.0pH to lower her?? - leaf colour is perfect. Stems are a little immature yet, but side branching is coming out stronger. Apr 29/20 - Day 19 - 8L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 325ppm and 5.0pH - runoff after the watering was 500ppm and 7.0pH - WTF.....expected it to be more in the 6.5pH range and not that high still? - KK looked worse off, still droopy, after this than the other girls did. Lack of oxygen in root zone with so much water? Its coco though shouldn't be for too long. Apr 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - KK likes it a little dryer in her medium.....she perked up more today and looking a lot better. - She has had more vertical growth the last day and she is spacing out some of her nodes. - Her stem is thicker and she is getting stronger. - Still a week behind though in my opinion and they should have been this size a week ago. Apr 31/20 - Day 21 - dry out day - she has done very well the last two days and going to keep riding that wave, didn't water today. - She has certainly gotten taller and wider.......getting her back on track? That will wrap up this puzzling week........pH is not staying low after being brought down......shoots back up over 7 in only 24 hours idea. Working on it Growmies. Time for the stretch! Lots of flowering growth happening now. I can see where the bud spots will be so I’m going to have to stop moving the branching around in the Scrog, also the branches are getting thick and less pliable.

Mañana a primera hora aplico Top Dress y riego profundo Va a empezar la floración! Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The buds on this strain are rock hard, the FC-E6500 was a great investment, this plant did great under it (A++ MarsHydro!!) ..we're really excited to chop this plant down. My husband has a trim job on his hands lol.. we'll be giving her water only (and lots of it) from now until we dry her out completely for harvest.. Really fun plant to grow out I got just over a quarter pound dry, I really dig the taste of this lady like a pastry of some kind with a cherry finish. Over all excellent finished product very pleased about it.

All the plants are beautiful but some are beautiful. This is the case of Red Hot Cookies, a young lady who stands out, stands out among the others and despite the 6.5 pot she is also growing and swelling well. But her strength is beauty for real, look at these flowers to believe. They are an intense red that goes towards purple which contrasts greatly with the truly wonderful white hairs. Also wonderful are the leaves that are tinged with the classic RHC color near the flower

Things are coming along nicely. She really isn't a big feeder at all but she's already started smelling, I'm getting like a faint super silver haze aroma at the minute. Let's see how she develops. Have a good weekend all.

Good week for the cut she's thickening nicely reduced nutes down as ec was a abit high and did notice a slight tip burn so took a and b down to 3 ml per litre lowered the lights slightly scent has sweetened a lot not very strong tho just watching her stack thanks for reading happy growing guys

Just feed her ph water for the last couples of days I’ll be chopping her down this week due to heat wave in my area .. wish I could let her go few more days At this stage she’s releasing nitrogen still

This one has been quick so far! Germinated in 2 days and popped from the soil just 2 days after that! Was good to see that the early OregonismXL use didn’t hurt her any. Was it beneficial though? Further testing needed. She’s going to stay in the starting closet with my summer outdoor plant, until I harvest the current plant in my tent (2-3 weeks).
