Grow Diary Introduction ​This diary was created with the idea of recycling as much as possible and utilizing every single watt of power to its absolute maximum potential. Honestly, you could call this run a survival experiment. ​Right after harvesting my last grow, I reused the old soil and salvaged the previous Biotabs, which were still fairly intact (you can see photos of this in the germination week). These recycled tabs will be the backbone of the feeding schedule for this run. To reduce the bacterial load, I watered the soil with a water and turmeric mixture—though this probably knocked back the beneficial microbial life in the soil as well. For containers, I’m using some balcony pots with built-in saucers that I found out on the street and repurposed. I started the seeds in 0.25L of fresh substrate mixed with a little bit of mycorrhiza. ​Initially, the plan was to plant one NL and one AB per pot, but one AB failed to germinate, so I left one NL to grow by itself in one of the pots. Each pot has two recycled tabs, and so far, they’ve only been fed a couple of times with Orgatrex at 2ml/L. ​They germinated on April 1st and spent their first 45 days indoors. The first week was a real bottleneck for them, as they were placed inside a tent that was in late flowering, meaning the climate was totally wrong for seedlings. For the remaining 4 weeks, they shared the tent and kept the plants of the new indoor cycle company, staying in there for as long as space would allow. Afterward, I moved them to the veranda windowsill. They are currently kept inside, pushed up a bit tight against the window glass, which keeps them safely away from bad weather and pests.Currently, the plants are only getting about 5 to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Because of this, the buds aren't particularly dense, with the exception of the top colas on the Northern Lights. I'll probably dry and smoke those main apicals, as they turned out surprisingly nice and dense visually, especially considering the rough conditions they went through. The Afghan Bullet (AB), on the other hand, developed much smaller buds, but they are more balanced and greater in number. I'll be throwing the smaller NL buds in with these, making it absolutely perfect material for some top-tier bubble hash. As the master Frenchy Cannoli used to teach, overly dense buds aren't actually the best for washing bubble hash; this looser structure is exactly what you want for a great extraction.

Buds looking like buds now. Should just be fattening up for a few weeks now. Smells very nice (hard to tell which one is stinking) adding calmag to see if it helps with the leaves dying off. All looking good! Day 59 added video of trichomes from multiple tops. Quite a few amber already hoping a couple weeks and it'll be down.

Week 12

Explosive growth! Seems to be loving the coco. She took off week 4-5. And, alll of a sudden there were pistols showing all over her. Appears to be doin great, having fun with the daily LST she's requiring with the rapid growth. Managed not to snap any more branches off. Got a mars hydro TS100 in the tent now and she's loving it.

For instance, when certain flowers are exposed to controlled amounts of UV light, they produce deeper and richer colors. Think of it as a form of “sun-kissed” enhancement! This deepening of color isn’t just about aesthetics; it also indicates improved biochemical processes within the plants.When plants are exposed to UVB light, it is now known something incredible happens—they begin producing vitamin D3 at an accelerated rate. UVB light exposure can lead to an increase in the production of vitamin D3 in plants. The optimal wavelength range for stimulating vitamin D3 synthesis in plants is around 290nm-310nm. Vitamin D3 is produced by UVB exposure of 7-dehydrocholesterol (provitamin D3) in the skin. The conversion to the pre-vitamin D happens by exposure to sunlight at 290–315 nm (UVB). Vitamin D3 is synthesized in the skin upon UVB exposure 290-315nm. The UVB exposure of provitamin D3 (7-dehydrocholesterol) in the skin breaks the B-ring to form previtamin D3, which undergoes thermally induced rearrangement to vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is transported to the liver where it is hydroxylated at C-25 by the enzyme 25-hydroxylase producing 25OHD3, which is the major circulating form in vertebrates. The 25OHD3 is hydroxylated a second time at C-1 in the kidneys to the active metabolite. Magnesium is used in large quantities for the enzymatic process, which enables the plant to process vitamin D3. Increase magnesium accordingly.

El ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/21 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. 10/10 indoor grow, highly resistant strain, quick to flower after only 5 weeks of veg... light stress being too close to the lights caused fox tailing buds...live and learn!

Woche Halbzeit denke ich, North Thunderfuck Auto entwickelt sich gut, sie hat die Umstellung auf den großen Topf noch nicht vollends ausgebaut, die Wurzelstruktur und Masse war bei ihr in dem Stadium am geringsten im Vergleich zu zum Beispiel den RF3 Sorten von Fastbuds, aber das muss noch gar nichts heißen. Sonst bin ich soweit zufrieden, Morgen gibt es wieder Dünger 😊 Ich habe die Fixierung mittlerweile wieder gelöst, damit sie sich so entfalten kann, wie sie soll und will. Sie entwickelt langsam richtig schöne erste Bloom Ansätze 😌

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

Sono a circa a 700/800 ppfd le piante rispondono bene solo che due Red Red Wine sono diventate erma penso genetica nuova e poco stabile (già capitato 2 anni fa sempre con perfect tree) ho eliminato i rami dove c’erano i fiori maschili ora vediamo se nel resto se ne sviluppano altri o se continua a produrre solo fiori femmina. Sicuramente sono genetiche non adatte a tutti perché devi essere molto preciso e con ambiente molto stabile, perché tendono ad diventare erma

Week 5 Veg and things are cruising along. The lanky girl in the 2 gal pot is starting to look better structure wise than the other 5. Thinking about transferring her to a 7 gallon pot for clones! The Tri leaf mutation is really taking off, throwing tops for days with out training or topping. 3 of the ladies have been topped to make bushes and the other are growing natural with some defoliation.

Mexican Sativa x monte frontè

These girls are super sticky! Resin is building up all over the place, including the leaves. I've been defoliating like crazy but they just keep coming back. These girl have a wide range of smells. Ranging from gas to mild strawberries. I'm hoping they get more strawberry as we finish.
