BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. На этой неделе растения стабильно получали 20 часов света, это очень помогло им стать больше и сильнее. Я продолжаю тренировки LST. На этой неделе была обрезка веерных листьев, я часто практикую дефолиацию автоцветов. Надеюсь проблем со светом не будет, растения уже показали "усы" свой пол, значит стадия предцвета будет примерно через неделю, хочу что бы они стали ещё больше и набрали "мяса" массу. Hey growers. This week I decided to water with a heavier ppm as the plants didn’t seem too happy. They were showing some yellowing on the lower leaf tips. Guess I was right bc they exploded up to about 12” +-. Then I decided to top and LST the main stem. Today I just adjusted the ties, removed 1-2 leaves from each plant depending if there was any in the mud or not. Yesterday I watered with 525 ppm, but unfortunately the water was a bit on the cold side and they’re having trouble soaking it up. I have since created a rez in my grow room just to hold RO water at approx 70 degrees. So that problem should be rectified. I think I’m right on the cusp of preflower as I’ve seen one or 2 pistils. Regardless they’re doing their thing and I’m trying to do as little as possible to keep them vegging as long as possible and end up beastly!!! Happy Growing 🌱

This week I decided to top the plant. It's the first time I've topped a plant and applied LST. It hurt to just cut the plant down but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. It tolerated it well. I have tried to make cuttings from the topped part. We'll see if they make it. The amount of watering remains unchanged for now as the soil stores enough water. I will water every 3 days from now on. This week I used the nettle manure in a mix with rainwater in a ratio of 1:20. Unfortunately, the weather has got a bit worse this week. The daytime temperature fluctuated between 18 and 21 degrees.

These girls are getting bigger and bigger every day. I’d say week five is the beginning of pre-flower. I started with a very low dosage of nutrients to see how they will respond. I’ve had to tie them down quite a bit but it has helped branch out new nodes and Bud sites that are comparable in size to the main cola. With the small environment I’m growing in I’ve also had to do a large amount of leaf tucking. The EC and PH of the runoff was pretty spot on, I was around 800ppm, 1.6ec, and the ph was around 6.0. Overall I’d say that these plants are a hell of a lot happier than my other plants in the different medium. This is the Miller soils organic ammended soil, which is pretty decent but I prefer to control most of my grows so next time around I will be using either bio bizz light mix or light mix with 40%-50% coco and added perlite or pumice. I want to really see the full potential of these advanced nutrients products and see how they compare to other brands/amending with basic dry organics. I have so many seeds to play with so I will have a lot of diaries coming soon after these are harvested 😉

5 weeks since flip. Switched from house and garden to jacks321, had some salt build up so flushed medium w some drip clean, got ppms down to 950-1000 from 1600. Everything is comin along pretty well.

Found a temperature solution in a UV bulb plugged into a 150W fixture. Did just the trick to keep the tent between 65-70 at all times during the winter. Only thing now is to find a permanent temp solution for the summer and I'll be all set. Given that this is an eight-week strain I believe this is it. I will be taking sporadic pictures throughout the week to show the differences when flushing. Just began flushing today, started with a half gallon of pH 7.0 water. Top-fed until about 5-10% run-off. No more nutes, just flush. Great news to accompany this, however. I've got another Early Lemon Berry seedling fully sprouted, two clones - Knight's Templar and Strawberry Banana(Dark Heart Nursery)! Look forward to those grow journals as well. I'll be picking up 5 beans of Ethos' new Lemon Berry Candy as soon as they're in stock, so excited! Had a visitor this week. As I was watering my plants I noticed this red spot on one of the leaves... To my surprise it was a ladybug. I don't have aphids or nothing like that, and I don't have the slightest idea where this litle nugget came from.... Besides that all plants are doing OK, NL 1 is a litlle slower than the other ones and its just now starting to show first signs of flower. The other ones did that last week... The NL1 and MC started drinking and eating a lot. They go trough 700ml in a day and half. Upping the watering dosage this week so I can have more time between waterings. I like around 3 days.
