GROWING APPROACH: Focused on DLI (calculated from Migro’s PAR map), VPD, water temperature, and water resting time. Did NOT monitor pH, EC, CO₂, or use PAR meter. 13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. Throughout the week, I've been defoliating all the fan leaves 🍃 The trichomes are looking all milky to me. I stopped watering a couple of days ago, and the pots are totally dry. 14.4.25: Today is Harvest Day! I finally put together my clothes rail, which I'm using to hang my plants on. I purchased a hanging mosquito net for a bed from Amazon. It's black, which will hopefully block out what little light there is in my drying room. Also, to prevent debris from sticking to the buds whilst drying. It hangs from the ceiling so it will just hang over the clothes rail. Additionally, the net will allow good airflow. I put a bit of thought into this method, so I look forward to seeing it in action! 😅 So let's wait a while and find out how much we yielded here! 😃💚✌️🌱👌

4 tall plants killed off this week they was growing 3 times slower then the short phenos, start of week 5 and no thc growing on them at all. All the short phenos are doing good start of week 5 and covered in crystal, budlets growing every day. Smells like gdp

Blütewoche 9. Dies wird vielleicht die letzte Woche ihres Lebenszyklus. Viele Narben sind schon braun gefärbt. Die Trichome sind fast alle komplett milchig. Doch Bernsteinfarbene Trichome muss man leider noch suchen. Den Einen oder Anderen findet man dann doch ab und zu. Ich denke in 5 Tagen werde ich sehen, ob ich mit der Ernte beginnen kann. Tag 59: Die Schimmelgefahr ist mir etwas zu groß. 2Buds hat es schon erwischt. Die Dame wird jetzt geerntet. 😈

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and gave this girl her last feeding of nutes before harvest. The next 2 weeks will just be water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Day 65 - Time is winding down for this girl but still thinking 2ish weeks. She’s still got quite a bit of clear trichs so just gonna keep a close eye on her. Day 66 - Nothing new today, just watching the trichs and waiting for them to tell me it’s time to chop. Day 67 - Looks great and almost finished. Only saw a handful of clear trichs and the rest were cloudy but still waiting for a good chunk to amber up so when I see that, she’ll get the chop. Day 68 - She’s getting closer to chop day for sure. Seeing a bit more amber in there and waiting till she’s about 40%. Gave her some water today and next watering, I’ll add some sledgehammer to the water to start pushing the nutes out. Day 69 - A lot more amber trichs showing today but still not quite where I’d like it. I did lower the light to about 12” yesterday and today it blew up with frost. It was already frosty but today she looked like frosting and the pics don’t do her justice. Might be getting the chop this weekend. Day 70 - It’s the end of week 10 and she’s getting closer to chopping. More and more amber popping up but still not to my liking. Maybe chopping late this weekend or early next week.

Really happy and healthy. Everything was flying along. Then, sadly. All my plants were hit with 2 low Ezyme & Terpinator 4.5ph feeds that screwed up a lot of my girls. These had a rough time of it but she pulls through. For the most part it's over here. Sprayed entire crop with Vita Race. It'll help with any ill affects from the growth aspect as some grows progress. I could of hard flushed. But, that would of solved the issue, only to start a whole new one that would have suppressed growth. Have been on the slow fix approach with adjusted ph of anything given into the 6.4-6.7 range. Foliar spray as given as they are. I only applied Vita Race twice as the problem has only been an issue the plant 10 days or so. From now on, everything will be PH'ed growing in co2, there really is no room for mistakes. Imbalances or any crucial nutrient like mag if that's thrown off, the whole plant(s) seedlings have suffered. There is rapid growth. I've had flips after 4 days into veg. But, things need to be FLAWLESS. Pult Alga Grow as Recommended by the maker. Will be kept on stuff listed above. this lady from the off set was the fastest growing and largest plant from the off set growing bushy with lots of leaves needing the biggest defoliation's too get that important light down too the many branches below, she is drinking about 8 pints of feed a week and loving life , and her bud production is also coming along nicely too , i cant wait too try this one ,

Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good. Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything. The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind.
