End of the 4th Week

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Me encantó la cepa y su facilidad de cultivo ! Aun que tuve muchos problemas ambientales y climáticos . Me atrasé unas 3 a 5 semanas con estas nenas , pero nos recuperamos bien ! Usamos malla scrog chilena #kanovicultivo , lo mejor que he usado en malla scrog , no se le comparan , su espacio preciso! . Las 4 comenzaron en pequeños vasos , luego de 1 a 2 semanas , trasplanté a macetero de 5.8lts , finalizaron 3 en maceteros textil 19lts y 1 en macetero de 20lts AirPot ! Comencé a brindarle 20hrs de luz / 4 hrs oscuridad , a la 3era semana 19hrs de luz y a la 5ta semana bajé hasta el 18 / 6 . Usé un panel QB de 480w regulables , chips marca Samsung de 3500k , chips epistar UV 660nm iR , el mix completo gracias a mi bro MKleds chile ! Se pasó ! De todas maneras recomiendo una potencia mínima de 600w ( QB LED ) para espacio de 120x .. Usé un bio estimulante chileno , que a mi parecer fue uno de los mejores que he visto y usado ! El grande #trichomemania , te cuento que este producto activa un mecanismo de defensa en la planta (SAR) , haciendo que reaccione y se trate de defender con mayor producción de resina , terpenos y tricomas ! Es increíble ! A los 24hrs tienes resultados , un saludo grande a los hermanos ! El mejor producto 10000000%.... Grande eva seed , buenisima esta cepa , me dí cuenta que si se deja madurar un poco más , su sabor es más frutal candy , exquisita cepa !.... Estamos probando con un papel de blunt organico 100% libre de tabaco marca *jamaican buzz*...al fumarla su efecto es notorio , enseguida viene el efecto psicoactivo y cerebral , se viene a la vista un tanto distorsionado el entorno ...la vision un poco más brillante , y a la vez relajado .. Hoy 18 de agosto estamos probando con un papel de celulosa organico marca lion rolling circus ( foto al final del album ) , quema bastante bien , al parecer ya está casi en su totalidad secado , combustión lenta , buen sabor afrutado citrico con toques candy diesel ...uuff efecto despues de 3 quemadas ya por los cielos , totalmente cerebral y estimulante , un gusto charlar con amigos ! Al manipular su fruto , la planta expele un olor afrutado con limon maduro y skunk , con finales de candy terra , una delicia , muy buena cepa , ahora mientras escribo me siento un tanto "mareado" con esa mitad de blunt ! Buenisinaaa!... ____ La verdad cuando comencé a cortar cada planta era como llenar "infinitamente" el armario donde dejaría secandola , se llenó casi la mitad y un poco más sólo con 1 planta cortada ! Increíble producción , yo estimo unos 90g por planta aprox , ya he consumido un buen peso además ...veremos en estos días que esté por completo su secado ! Esta riquísima , sus efectos fuertísimos ...100% ... ___ Una cosecha buenísima, muy parecido como obtengo resultados en comparación con el sodio , todo bien me gustó la experiencia !.... Además tuve la oportunidad de hacer extracción en seco de su materia vegetal . Obtuvimos entre un 18 a 20% de retorno ! Para mi primera vez , geniaaaal ! Su utilizó prensa de 12 toneladas , de apretó a 80°C por 4 minutos . . . Usen lemon king ! Una delicia .

This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!

Here I shortly document the making of Cannabis-infused-butter for what ever you want to cook with it. 1. Decarboxylate your weed: Grind the amount you want to use (pref 8-15 grams) spread it on a bakingsheet and bake it at 110 degrees for 40 minutes. 2. Infuse it into butter: Use 250grams butter+ 200ml water and heat it up to 70-90degrees (preferably keep it at 80degrees) add the weed and let it "simmer" for 3-4hours. Stir every 5-20minutes and keep the temperatue inbetween 70-90degrees or you destroy THC. 3. Seperate the weed from the butter: Use a kitchentowel or teafilter to seperate the butter. After let it cool down in a fridge. 4. Enjoy the cooking/baking. Use it inbetween 5days or freeze it. Enjoy the high! its banging👌 Bubblehash-Process coming soon!

Those babies stated to drink a lot, drying a substrate in 24 hours decided to replant them into the large 25 liter air-pots. The roots are visible and developed quiet good, so i hpe it was good timing to do that. Also made some topping on one of plants, others will be topped this week. Generally all goes good👍

Just feeding ph d water now for the last 10 days hoping she will be done by next week, I think if she'd been on 18hrs from the get go she would have probably finished by now .

Been a nice productive week for this girl, she's getting the girth and the swell is setting in, she's starting to smell rather nice, can't wait to see the trycomb production in the coming weeks 😀 happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌

Week 23 - 29 July 25 July - feed day 27 July - feed day (1.3 L)

The plants came down after 64 days in flower, and 99 days total. I'm super happy with the results as of right now. I love the color on these buds and they seem super dense. The smell while trimming was very gassy, and I think it'll smell great after curing. The buds still need to dry, which I expect to take just over a week. They'll be drying in the tent at about 70F and around 60% humidity. The humidity is a little high after being in the tent over night at 64%, but I'm hoping that will creep down as the buds lose more moisture. I'll update later after the buds have dried and I'm able to weigh them. The drying turned out great. I've struggled with some past grows getting rid of the wet grass smell after drying, but I let it go an extra day this time and the smell seems to have gone away. Ended up with about 4.5 ounces in total, which I'm happy with. Now the buds are all curing, and I'll probably wait close to a week before smoking any of the cured bud.

UPDATE: New dry bud jarred up and bud shot pictures as well as ice bubble hash run pictures. Harvest day! Oh how amazing it has been. After 48 hours of darkness with just the dehumidifier and fan going, the smell of sweetness and gas filled our nostrils when the tent was opened to get the girls out. Unfortunately I couldnt get very good pictures with the lighting against the tent but got some decent results where I could use natural lighting. Ive got some more pictures on the way so check back for some dry bud shots as well as some macro shots of the trichomes. With the help of a couple good friends, we got the gloves and trimming scissors out and trimmed the girls down in about 2 - 3 hours while listening to music and smoking some joints (wth some added scissor hash between trims 😜). We only did a basic trim (taking off the fan leaves as well as the larfy/popcorn buds which then went into the freezer which will be used as a fresh frozen ice bubble hash run) as I like to leave a good amount of the leaves on during the drying process but not too much as the humidity is quite high at the moment anyway so I dont have to worry about overdrying. Overall this strain was super easy to grow but I can chalk that up to the environment and nurtients being on point as well as the light upgrade which has made a massive difference. They didnt stretch as much as they would do under a MH or HPS bulb but I was happy with their size but may look at going bigger in the next round (the diary for the next round is currently up so check the progress of what I hope will be monsters as I will be adding more light to the flower stage!) Once the girls have spent 7 - 10 days drying, I will be popping them in their jars and doing a smoke report with some pictures of the finished buds and some trichome macro shots. Next up will be making some edible gummies and this run will be complete with flower, hash and edibles. Pros about this strain. It's great for anxiety. A little goes a long way as it packs a punch, filling your mouth, nostrils, air passages, lungs abs ✌️

Happy Easter Everyone! Time for an update During week 10 NEW LIGHT installed!! ViparSpectra XS2000. So excited! I think the plants are a little shocked from the change in light but hopefully they recover just fine. This week 3 of the plants definitely started showing some issues I have never had before. I started noticing rust spots on the upper top leaves of the plants which I believe was the consequence of the following... A.Nutrient lockout B. Soil PH too low from over fertilization C. Soil PH being too low due to the peat moss in the growing medium. I have purchased dolomite lime as an organic alternative to properly balance soil PH for my next grow. I did do a light flush with PHd water at 6.5. Plan for week 11 Going to be adding some Calcium to the soil during next watering to see if that helps new growth on the plants (Tuesday) At this point I will be just keeping an eye on more rust spots forming on the leaves. I have backed off on adding more P & PK at this time because I think I over fertilized last time. I am learning a lot still with every week of this grow. I know now how to dial in the nutrients and better amending soil first. Since my soil has peat moss I think that had a lot to do with the acidity as it breaks down. Really hoping these girls continue to finish out okay! Thinking that they will take the full 14/15 weeks at this point.

It’s finally getting a nice green colour This week I changed the scrog net , it’s about 7” above the top of the pots . upped the nutes to 1.8-2 ec. Sprayed with canna cure Watering every morning to about 10% run off Lollipoped an defoliated ,Waiting to fill the net a bit more but will be switching to 12/12 very soon.

OMG I am beyond excited to talk about my Medusa Girl in her first week of flowering. Let me tell you, she's an absolute goddess in my garden. She's been loving the autopots just as much as I have.
