Grow Diaries: Week 9 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌱✨ Week 9 is here, and while our mutants are small, they’re undoubtedly mighty in beauty and character! Each plant continues to showcase its uniqueness, with details in the leaves that are nothing short of art. As always, patience is the key, and these beauties are teaching me that every step of this journey is worth it. The Flip is Coming! After much thought, I’ve decided to flip the entire room to a 11/13 light cycle. This means it’s time to identify males and let the females show their true potential. Here’s the plan: • Why Flip Now? Despite their smaller size, flipping now allows the plants to reveal their sex while keeping the room’s progress synchronized. This way, I can focus on the keepers and remove the males efficiently. • Revegging the Favorites: By flipping and selecting now, I’ll be able to reveg any standout females later. For those unfamiliar, revegging is a technique where, after flowering, you revert the plant back to a vegetative state. This method preserves genetics you love and allows you to grow clones or expand the line further. 👉 Benefits of Flipping and Revegging: • Speeds up the identification process without needing clones first. • Lets you preserve special traits in the plants. • Adds flexibility in managing space and time. Environment & Nutrition This week, I’ve maintained a steady environment: • Temps: 22°C with about 66% RH. • Nutrients: Continuing with the Aptus Holland lineup—Regulator, Start Booster, and CalMag Boost. The All-in-One Pellets are still providing slow-release nutrition, and the plants seem to love it! Watering from the bottom remains my go-to, helping keep gnats at bay while ensuring even root hydration. 09-09-2025 Yesterday evening I noticed some bright yellow spots on the leaves of my White Widow. I didn’t know what it was. Today I saw that the spots turned brown. I tried to wipe it off, but I couldn’t. I think this is downy mildew. I moved the plant to the garage. The garage is quite dry and has a better humidity level than the greenhouse. I hope this will not spread. I don’t know what to do about it…

With Zamnesia's photoperiod Georgia Pie #2, we're taking another trip to America. We're in the Dirty South this time, and for the music on the reel, we've dusted off a Ludacris, whom I consider the father of that so-so music that can be summed up with the word trap. I've always preferred real hip-hop, but this time it doesn't hurt. We're talking about a very famous strain in America, much loved, and now I understand why: the smell, resin, and flower quality are exceptional. The flowers aren't gigantic like often happens with USA strains, but they are exceptionally high quality. Check out the resin content for yourself. Ripeness - The pistils have looked super ripe for a long time, especially the upper ones, which are very red, and we're still over 90%. The trichomes are about 30% amber, 40% cloudy/milky, and 30% clear, more or less naturally, but I think it's fine; it looks super ripe. The flowers are all top-quality, and the yield is excellent, I think 50-70 grams super clean and trimmed not whole plant on scale naturally. The overall shape of the plant is very good a tall girl no techniques used i have another 2 plants. We chose a 100% organic, 1000% Plagron soil, as always. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with more gradual and consistent watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week of soil is enough, so don't overdo it. Runoff ph is a bit high this time. Don’t know why. Around 6.8. Average ph going in is 6.0. Also the big fan leaves on ice cream cakes are kind of strange shaped. Will see how they are going to look later.

Week 4 My girl reaches her final size. This was the plant that suffered less from unbalanced soil, the damage is almost imperceptible. I took the opportunity to put the scrog that will be more to support the buds weight. Despite the initial deformity of the leaves, the plant has a very healthy aspect and a very balanced coloring, so I believe that this adventure will not influence the flavor of the flowers. In few weeks... HARVEST TIME 😋 Day 22 Hard defoliation on fan leaves.

Week four progressed well. She handles the LST like a champ and bounced back from the light defoliation that was necessary to reap the full benefits of her training. This is definitely a hardy strain. Not minding the 90F temps at all. Had to treat her with some light spinosad spray to do a bit of insect control. Won't be able to for much longer once she starts with budset. She smells already, a very deep and classic skunk scent and not a preflower to be seen. She's going to be a strong scented lady by week 8 or 9, I can tell already. Gave another dose of Fish Mix + Grow + Recharge for the week. She seems to love it. Not much else to report for now. Almost done… thank goodness

2 more weeks or thereabouts. 1 more blackstrap molasses tea. And then it's all Distilled going forward. Reservoir will be opened up 24/7 until emptied. Then top down flushing with aloe water for round 1 and distilled until finished.
