4/22/24 ๐Ÿ“z I was going to take her down after I trimmed off all of the excess leaves and gave her some of the leftover maximum strength food from a space panda in the next tent. She really started taking off again, so Iโ€™m gonna keep her going. Iโ€™m gonna keep them all going and doing just great really starting to put out a lot of resin. They smell fantastic. Iโ€™m having a lot of fun with them so Iโ€™m gonna keep them going. I could take them down right now they are ready, but I just wanna grow them a little more. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ 4/23/24 Wow they are great. ZStraverriez...hard to type.... is READY! I took the leaves off a couple days ago to see if I would get any growth but nope. So I will use FloraKleen 10ml per gal and do a 2 or 3 gallon flush and put her back in for a day. I harvested the CBD. It smells like berries, just great just the right size in a 2 gallon pot with no training. I found a seed in the CBD, the others might be seeding as well......that is my oldest tent probably has pollen somewhere. Still everything is good, but im getting a new tent...I also just got a MarsHydro light for 100 it's the light bar one. 4/23/24 Apricot and straw. gorilla are growing good. Zstraberriez....which is a HUGE BITCH TO SPELL....but WOW smells like berries and vanilla and happiness. I let some dry for a few hours and put it in the Arizer X2 and she was great. These are so fast and the colors are beautiful too. It's like a perfect autumn day with all the leave changing color. Except my colors are way better and I can smoke them.... 4/24/24 ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž I am seeing lots of resin form. I thought they would be ready to go, but it looks like they just kind of took a little pause and I trimmed off the unnecessary and fading leaves and they got their second wind and now seeing a lot of resin production๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž. they smell great. They look like theyโ€™re ready to keep going for another two weeks so Iโ€™m gonna do that and Iโ€™ll just harvest a little bit along the way I smoke some of all of them this morning and theyโ€™re just great. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ 4/25/24 I ended up doing a little bit heavier, feeding than usual. I did about 2 mL of all the supplements and now Iโ€™m seeing lots of resin. Iโ€™m very careful all the other nutrients have burned my plants horribly but Iโ€™m very careful in general. Hydroponic seems to do a good job without burning. Fastbuds has a 25 pack of all their different strains mixed together for 100. I might do that. Iโ€™m kind of neurotic. I may need to know what Iโ€™m growing I think about this. I really like all of their plants they have a personality all of their own. I like Seedsman and the F1 itโ€™s from Royal queen seeds. 4/25/24 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“

CHERRY ๐Ÿ’ COLA 420/FASTBUDS This lady really produces some extra sticky dense buds that look amazing and smell ๐Ÿ‘ great! I had no issues with this strain. She was grown in organic soil with only FOOP nutrient line and she responded with some good looking buds!! Overall a easy grow with rewarding results โœจ๏ธ one of the strains I would suggest growing ๐Ÿ˜€!! Stay Growing!! Thank you for stopping by and taking a look it's much appreciated!! Thank you 420/FASTBUDS!! CHERRY ๐Ÿ’ COLA 420/FASTBUDS

Happy palindromic 4202024. To help celebrate Iโ€™m starting a couple of Euphoria seeds and making the first diary entry of the season. This year iโ€™m doing two photoperiod plants, starting today, and two autos that Iโ€™ll start in mid-May. Apr 22: moved into soil after about 48 h in 25 C water in the dark. Have a ripe apple beside the seeds under the foil because apparently the ethylene gas that is given off helps. Science paper I happened across last winter - will post reference when I remember. Apr 25: removed foil (and apple) and left on a 25 C heat mat beside a light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. Weak light, warmth, and high humidity is what they need at this stage.

4202024 or backwards, itโ€™s 4202024. Iโ€™m sure there will be other palindromic dates in future, but this is the one and only stoner palindrome date that can happen in our lifetimes. Thanks to Seedsman for the idea of a 420 grow-off and the chance to try some of the latest and greatest. Anyway, started some Blueberry Pie F1 Fast seeds from Seedsman today. Very promising sounding genetics, and Iโ€™m very keen to see how she goes. Hopefully we wonโ€™t get as much wildfire smoke as we did last year. The plan for this plant is a 16 cola manifold with force flowering (12 h darkness) starting in late July for a couple of weeks. Starting in a glass of water on a heat mat at 25 C. Kept in dark using foil. Iโ€™ve decided to avoid plastic for the seed starting. Also, based on a science paper I saw this winter, Iโ€™m leaving a ripe apple in the dark with the seeds. Apparently the ethylene gas helps, but only in the dark before light is applied. Tried it with tomato and pepper plants and seems to work. First time trying with my cannabis seeds. Will add the reference to the paper some day. Apr 22: moved into soil. Starting three seeds but I only have room for one plant. Will adopt out the other two. Apr 25: removed foil cover (and apple) and set the plants beside the light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. The seedlings need minimal light at this stage so taking it easy. Seems likely weโ€™ll be past last potential frost day soon. ๐Ÿ‘

W10.D1(67) ๐Ÿ“…๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒธ Yesterday did not make it into the diary; alas, sudden tasks have pulled me away from our usual routine. ๐Ÿ“… In this disruption, life's ๐Ÿšซ unexpected demands have interrupted the flow, yet the ๐ŸŒธ flowering continues to thrive vigorously. ๐ŸŒžโณ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ”œ I have now reached the 14/10 light schedule and am delightedly watching the process unfold. ๐ŸŒž Adjusting the daylight hours gradually, I believe we have successfully initiated an irreversible transition. ๐ŸŒŸ With eager ๐Ÿ‘€, I watch as our champion plant responds, and ๐Ÿ”œ time will reveal if our simulation of the day's shortening has indeed tipped the scales. W10.D2(68) ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ›‘๐ŸŒฑ The flowering is developing slowly and gradually. ๐ŸŒธ As we carefully observe, the ๐ŸŒ pace ensures that each stage of growth is closely monitored. ๐Ÿ“ˆ There's a hope that with the cessation of reducing light hours, the plant ๐Ÿ›‘ does not revert to its vegetative state. W10.D3(69) ๐Ÿ“…๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ”„๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿ’ง As of today, there are no particular updates โ€“ the flowering continues organically. ๐Ÿ“… The natural progression of ๐ŸŒธ flowering is unhindered, and the nutrient supply scheme has been ๐Ÿ”„ adjusted to better meet the specific needs during this phase. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ก๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿšฐ I continue to work with low doses of various fertilizers, aiming to ensure that the availability of different micronutrients allows for their passive absorption. ๐ŸŒฑ By maintaining a cautious approach with ๐Ÿ’ก carefully measured nutrients, we encourage the plant ๐ŸŒฟ to absorb what it needs effortlessly, while minimizing the energy ๐Ÿšฐ spent on active uptake. This strategy optimizes growth without overstressing our plant. W10.D4(70) ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ“ฆ The growth in height continues. ๐Ÿ“ As the ๐ŸŒฟ plant stretches upwards, I sincerely hope ๐Ÿคž that I won't have to increase the height of this ๐Ÿ“ฆ grow box again. The upward ๐Ÿ“ˆ trend is promising, yet it challenges the confines of our current setup. W10.D5(71) ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿค” I see it necessary to introduce some measure of photosynthesis efficiency. ๐ŸŒฟ Considering the available measurements of light and water, this ratio could be directly expressed as the utilization of water in photosynthetic reactions per unit of energy. ๐Ÿ’ง The efficiency of ๐Ÿ”ฌ photosynthesis could potentially be quantified in such a way, offering a direct metric to evaluate. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒž๐Ÿง However, the challenge lies in the fact that plants use water not only for photosynthesis. A significant portion of the water consumed, according to scientific knowledge, leaves the plant through transpiration. ๐ŸŒฑ Understanding that ๐Ÿ’ฆ water is vital, we must ๐Ÿ” discern how much is used for ๐ŸŒž photosynthesis versus what is expended on transpiration ๐Ÿงโ€”a complex task that requires precise measurement and interpretation. W10.D6(72) ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ“…๐Ÿ“ท๐ŸŒฟโœจ Currently, there are no new thoughts or ideas, I'll just post a photo of another day. ๐Ÿค” Daily progression ๐Ÿ“… of our grow is captured in a ๐Ÿ“ท snapshot, showcasing the ๐ŸŒฟ plant's ongoing journey and the simple โœจ beauty of another day in the life cycle. W10.D7(73) ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ“ˆ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿšฟ Yesterday, I increased the watering to 8 liters. ๐ŸŒฑ With this boost in ๐Ÿ’ง hydration, I am aiming for a significant ๐Ÿ“ˆ enhancement in the plantโ€™s ๐ŸŒฟ photosynthetic activity. ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ” Increasing water should accelerate the opportunities for photosynthesis, but it also raises the humidity, which may lead to mold formation. ๐Ÿ’ฆ With increased hydration, the plant enjoys a ๐ŸŒž vibrant photosynthetic environment, yet we must remain vigilant as the ๐ŸŒง๏ธ moisture could foster less desirable conditions, necessitating careful ๐Ÿ” monitoring. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”„๐Ÿ I anticipate that changes to the ventilation system will allow me to complete the growth cycle this time around. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Adjusting the ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ airflow and climate control, we strive to optimize the environment for our ๐ŸŒฟ plant, setting the stage for a successful ๐Ÿ”„ cycle completion and crossing the ๐Ÿ finish line with robust growth.

Once again she passes my expectations, late to the show with trichome production. I'm surprised there is purple on the bud, maybe Purpinator does work :) I thought I could see hints under the grow lights and thought my eyes were deceiving me, I was just being hopeful. But nah 2 of the 3(under the UV) has got a beautiful tone of purple. I was never going to bother with a deep freeze but maybe the whole bud will. change given conditions, that would be something, fingers crossed. Rule of thumb is never to surpass 60% RH in the flowering phase and try to progressively reduce it down to 40% in the last 2โ€“3 weeks before harvest. The plant will react as it seeks to protect its flowers, responding by producing denser buds and a higher concentration of resin. Cannabis plants are sensitive to sudden temperature changes, especially in the flowering stage. Extreme heat or cold can impact bud density and overall yields. In nature as a defense mechanism from cold, the plant sensing sudden dips in temperature will attempt to remove the pockets of air within the bud, it achieves this by compacting itself in doing so to better protect itself from cold snaps which are normally indicators in nature that worse weather is on the way. The script to come. Removal of 660nm wavelength is the signal that triggers the plant to accelerate terpenes/flavinoids production in flowers, this is the mechanism the higher plant uses to attract potential pollination from further afield, survival of the species is no joke for the plant, it senses the sky around it has removed all the 660nm, the plant starts to focus on terpenes and flavinoids production if she has not been fertilized by this point she must attract pollination from a further afield. 3-day treatment, ZERO 660nm initiates accumulation, RH kept below 20% (harder than you think)(Dropping temps helps a lot). The plant can sense the humidity drought, the plant will close its stomata to prevent the release of moisture given the conditions. Two highly specialized cells, the guard cells that surround the stomatal pore, can integrate environmental and endogenous signals to control the stomatal aperture and thereby the gas exchange. The uptake of CO2 is associated with a loss of water by leaves. Control of the size of the stomatal aperture optimizes the efficiency of water use through dynamic changes in the turgor of the guard cells. The opening and closing of the stomata are regulated by the integration of environmental signals and endogenous hormonal stimuli. The various factors to which the guard cells respond translate into the complexity of the network of signaling pathways that control stomatal movements. The perception of abiotic stress (RH less than 20%) triggers the activation of signal transduction cascades that interact with or are activated by phytohormones. Among these, abscisic acid (ABA), is the best-known stress hormone released that forces closed the stomata. Terpene levels are the highest just before the sun comes out. Ideally, you want as many terpenes present in your plants as possible when you harvest. Cannabis plants soak up the sun during the day and produce resin and other goodies at night. The plant is at its emptiest from "harvest undesirables" so to speak right before the lights on. Boiling cannabis roots during harvesting slows down the drying process. When you boil cannabis roots, it shocks the plant, closing the stomata on the leaves. This prevents massive moisture loss through the leaves, leaving only the floral clusters actively losing moisture at a reduced pace. I've always run a strict 60/60 and it took almost twice as long to dry to a snap than previous grows where I didn't boil for what it's worth. Chlorophyll is good for the plant but not for you. When you harvest the buds, even after you flush them, if you flush them, theyโ€™re still filled with chlorophyll. Freshly cut buds are greener than dried buds because they still contain loads of chlorophyll. However, when rushed through the drying process, the buds dry but retain some chlorophyll, and when you smoke it, you will taste it. Chlorophyll-filled buds are smokable, but they arenโ€™t clean. Slow drying gives the buds enough time and favorable conditions to lose the chlorophyll and sugars, giving you a smoother smoke. How the plant disposes of the chlorophyll and sugars by a process of chemically breaking them down and attaching the decomposed matter once small enough to water molecules which then evaporate back into the ether. Time must be given to the process to break down the chlorophyll and sugars. Think of it like optimizing the environment for decay. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/01/140124082656.htm The word โ€œalcoholโ€ is said to come from the arabic term โ€œAl-khulโ€ which means โ€œBODY-EATING SPIRITโ€ (also, is the origin of the termโ€ ghoulโ€). In alchemy, alcohol is used to extract the soul essence of an entity. Hence itsโ€™ use in extracting essences for essential oils, and the sterilization of medical instruments. By consuming alcohol into the body, it in effect extracts the very essence of the soul, allowing the body to be more susceptible to neighboring entities most of which are of low frequencies. (why do you think we call certain alcoholic beverages โ€œSPIRITSโ€). That is why people who consume excessive amounts of alcohol often black out, not remembering what happened. This happens when the good soul (we were sent here with) leaves because the living conditions are too polluted and too traumatic to tolerate. The good soul jettisons the body, staying connected on a tether, and a dark entity takes the body for a joy ride around the block, often in a hedonistic and self serving illogical rampage. Our bodies are cars for spirits. If one leaves, another can take the car for a ride. Swazzeneger was to the bodybuilding community what Diddy was to the rap Industry.

Iโ€˜m back at Germany! After 3 weeks Break, my roommate gave Its best to take care of themโ€ฆ Temperature and humidity were Not that perfect, as I just told her to water and dung them right. But still they Look pretty good. I had to defoliate as much as I can to stop them to get oversized. Still Strawberry Banana got a huuuuge Stretch! It is way to Big for the tentโ€ฆ I might think about, letting her grow on the outside, to perform the Best and Not getting sun burnt by the light, which is to close on the buds. I water them now with 1,5L per day or until they get a drain. Looking forward on hold This setup for a while, increasing the Temperature again and try to drop the humidity down to 40%โ€ฆ

Day 39 (24.04.2024): I rearranged the automatics so that the first open pollen sacs don't pollinate the girls. Here the wind always comes from the valley and the sea. Nothing should happen to the males behind the females. I placed the two female La Berry Fruta in a place with longer exposure to sunlight. Because she doesn't belong genetically to Fruity and Snowfruit and the two girls also grow much more beautifully. This morning I fed the girls and boys some molasses and Canna Terra Flores. I only give them the extra nutrients once this week. The plants receive organic water continuously and as needed.

Day 23: -Seeing great growth from the little girl, true leaves developing, and slowly burying the stem over as she grows. Showing great resilience so far, and nice rich colour to her leaves ๐Ÿ˜ Feeding every other water still. Day 25: - feed today, a nice 2.5L to moisten up the 3gal she's in, no run off, she's very happy and healthy ๐Ÿ™ŒโœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’š

First off i would like to say sorry to Sebastian and @Exotic_Seed for not keeping up with the diary. I have neglected this plant and she has been punished. Super low humidity, lack of water, snapped branch and also split the main stalk down the middle the other day. I noticed it a few hrs later and used a pipe cleaner to cinch it back together. ๐Ÿ˜
