**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. This week was still about recovery from last week. Given the phase this plant is in, this week was a stand still... but I'm glad it did not move backwards. We did a heavy defoil in the middle of week, as some of the sites where blocking each other quite a bit. The air flow and color has returned the middle of these plants. I was getting worried about bud rot. All for all, these plants are doing well and smell like yummy weed! When we defoliated I went outside to take out the garbage and the whole neighborhood smelt like these ladies 😂😂😂 I hope that they keep growing and thickening up. They are putting weight on, I hope Week 12 is huge on that front. I am probably only giving them up until 13/14 before I give them the chop. I wont be flushing. I will be feeding up until the last res before harvest.

Tapered off the nutrients over the last week, now down to just the bloom supplements for this week then just water to finish. Harvest is getting closer now and I'm so excited to get these babies cut, dried and cured!

Mimosa Evo Clone doesn’t seem to like the new home and shows some yellowing on the tips. I assume that this might be some sort of Nitrogen toxicity but i keep a close eye on it. LST continues. Only Lemon Orange and Exotic Runtz have been topped and they will cover the most of the tent. They are going into Flowering end of this week.

February 28, 2019 Update: Getting close to the end here. I'm going to start flushing the Cherry Hemp plants this weekend and chop them down the following weekend. The DinaMed, Critical+ and Cream & Cheese should only be a week or two away from flush also. Feeding only MegaCrop & Cal+Mag Pro until the flush. This week I took pictures with the lights off and my camera flash on, I think these pics look better than last weeks. Bonus pic at the end of the view from my bedroom window. I'd love to see my buds get that frosty! 👍

We decided to pull out the trellis net, strip and bend her...we'll strip her again on week 3 or 4 of flower..photos like this tend to make our friends cringe but the plant doesn't seem to mind.. despite how they look after the first day of flower they always bounce back in 2-3 days more beautiful than ever <3 ...we dropped N supplements and increased bloom.. keeping PH at 5 seemed to completely fix her uptake issues...thanks for reading and happy growing everyone!! 😻

These ones look to be moving from the stretching phase into full bud production now. I am starting to see more and more trichomes develop which is exciting. Carried a good bit of defoliation this week cleaning up the lower branches and removing larger leafs that block multiple bud sites. Light still is set at 90% power. ✌️🌱🙂

Fast Buds LSD-25 Auto I’m pretty sure I mixed up two seeds. This is definitely going to be purple and looks like most of the other LSD-25 grows here. It’s budding and quite a heavy drinker. It’s also spreading out in the areas over the other plants. I think I’ll only use the shower for 2 plants at a time in the future

Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

This week begins with a video 04.10 Nach Behandlungen sehen die Girls nun lebendig und froh aus. Auch die Kleine von gelb wird sie wieder grün.. 08.10 Die Pflanzen habe ich nur einmal Salze direkt auf der Erde gestreut, VORSICHT nicht zuviel und nicht direkt unter der Planze. Gegossen wurde nur mit Wasser mit CalMag und BioHeaven. Nun sehen sie quicklebendig aus, ausser eine. Diese Salze haben die Aeste sehr gut entwickelt. Salze: AMMONIUMSULFAT 20,6 % N - 58% So3 Lampe: 50-60 cm volle Leistung. Bis jetzt bin ich mit der Hydromars TSW2000 voll zufrieden. und von Anfang an blieb ich auf gleicher Höhe. Denn es sind die Pflanzen die gegen das Licht gehen. In der Blütenzeit werde ich die Distanz verkürzen. Und tatsächlich brauchen die Pflanzen unter dieses Licht mehr CalMag.

3.30-4.1: Week 10. Days 67-69. Trichomes 50/50 clear/milky. A few random ambers. Leaves are fading but still feeding 1/4 strength. Maybe a week or 2? 4.2-4.5: days 70-73. Moving along nicely. Trich's more milky than clear. Stopped feeding and only water.

Day 22. Last 3 girls got final house. 20 liters pots for those late runners. They look sad, but maybe big house and other girls will encourage them to kick in. I took last NL away and now humidity and lightning are a lot better. Will drop lights down in few days, but not a lot ... 16 girls again in one room ;)))) I changed names of diaries, because I will try to finish them indoors ... Happy Growing !!!
