I turn off the ventilator and idk why but my plants start growing higher

Hello All. I took a lot of pictures. Hope you don't mine, but I had fun. I think everyone likes to see large harvest pictures. It all started back in early January when I took clones of my favorite plants. It was a cold winter here this year, for these parts. So it was mid March when I got the plants out in the greenhouse. The spring was damp and cold too. I found powdery mildew in the garden about 2 weeks before I found it in the greenhouse. I got it on the Skunkberry and the Burmberry, But not on either Amnesia Lemon or the Sister Amnesia Lemon. I was very pleased about that :) I found some spider mites in the last week and a half. I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they still spread but very slowly when they can't spin their webs. I didn't find many when I harvested. Everything else went well this season. I found a male Dr. Atomic Northern Lights that I liked. So I'll try to make some seeds with the Amnesia Lemon, Skunkberry and the Burmberry. I'm trying to fatten up the Burmberry. I'm interested to see if the Amnesia Lemon gets fatter buds and carries the P.M. resistance to the seeds, I'm hoping. The tall Sister Amnesia lemon in the middle did cause a drop of production from the plants on either side of it. They were in more shade. Something to work on for next year :) The Skunkberry had the most P.M. I used a new produce that I'm pleased with, it's White Wash frequency altered water. Knocks the P.M. right out. I found that if you put a large tray under where you are spraying you can catch the run off. I could use it a couple of times with no change in effectiveness. It must be the Scottish in me. I try to reuse or recycle as much as possible. Cuts costs, and help make me feel like I'm doing good and helping the planet. My feeding schedule was: I had a 15 gallon half barrel and pump with hoses and nozzles. I filled the barrel with nutrient solution and watered by minuets, 15 for clod days and 25 or 30 minuets on hot days. After 3 or4 days I added water when the solution got low. Mixed new solution once a week, and cleaned the barrel and pump. I also took the hose in the greenhouse and soaked them till run off once a week and measured the ph. I saw a few fungus gnats, but the spiders and nematodes (from my compost I added when I mixed soil) sure help to keep the numbers down. I like to put my buds in a paper bag to dry and cure. Inside I hang the buds for 3 days before putting the buds in paper bags. But it was so hot in the green house that 2 days was more that enough before putting the buds in the paper bags. The bags sat in the greenhouse for 3 days and then went in to the basement to finish. The old hippies told me that they use to put their buds to cure in the middle of a bushel of straw. I seems that the drying buds gives off a gas, that when trapped around the buds helps to take away the bitterness and raunchiness' of the uncured buds. The bags also help in wicking away the moisture of the drying buds, just like the straw did. After a week I check to see if it is dry enough. If the buds are dense the bag might need to be rehung for a few days to finish. I prefer a dryer bud. I like to hear a light crunch when I put a bud in my pipe. I'm very happy with the results. I was concerned because I have 2 rental houses behind me and one of them had a big backyard party at my week 5 of flowering. You could smell the grow by then and I was hoping I wasn't going to get ripped off. I looked through the fence a few days later and saw about 12 large plant pots, growing cannabis. I'm very happy. So she’s a week into flush with only about 10% amber trichomes so has a few more days yet. The bud size isn’t moving but the density of the buds has definitely increased. Let me know what you think. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

10/18, day 74 While only getting a tiny bit taller, the colas are bulking up, trichomes are developing, and the colors are amazing. She's so pretty! We're starting to take more stemmed leaves off in preparation for harvest, and they are ready to come off, with beautiful yellow fading. There are sooooo many reddish-orange hairs, and it seems most of the tops are being taken over by purples now. 10/21, day 77 Violet's leaves are turning brown and beginning to curl now. When looking at her trichomes, it seems there is not as much amber today as there was yesterday somehow. Every time we open the cabinet, it seems she has changed. 10/23 day 79 Violet has been exploding with trichomes the last couple of days, and I'm just like WOW!! Upon doing more research on trichomes and their development, I found an article that explains things so nicely (Link: https://www.greencultured.co/cannabis-trichomes-overview/ ) In this article, I learned about the three different types of trichomes: bulbous, capitate sessile, and capitate stalked. The stalked being the tall pretty ones we like to see, which also contain the most resin. At a certain point, the short sessiles develop into the stalked, increasing from 30% to 80-90%. This is kind of far down the article in the section titled "Latest Cannabis Trichome Research." It also explains that the stalked trichomes contain 16 cells while sessile trichomes only contain 8, so the stalked trichome explosion Violet has been having is doubling her medicinal value. I believe that her increasingly strong smell is a sign that this is good information, so I encourage you to check it out. I do not know them, nor have any arrangements with them, I really did just find the article that helpful. Oh, Violet, our time together is going to be over soon!!

22.05: The plants beautifully rebounded and made up for previous inconveniences. Except for two of them, all the new nodes are growing healthy and vibrant. I had to give them a good dose of water and increase the humidity to 63-72%. Mycorrhiza and a bit of nitrogen did the trick with two rounds of watering. I also raised the lamps to 80-70 cm above the top of the plants. We'll see what happens soon. I'll probably switch them to flowering in a few days.

It’s the eighth week of flowering, and the plant is looking absolutely gorgeous! The buds and leaves have turned a deep purple with rich autumn hues, giving the plant such a unique, almost magical appearance. The sweet smell has become even stronger and fills the whole grow space with a powerful, sugary aroma. 🍬🌿 I’ve noticed the trichomes starting to turn an amber color—just the sign I’ve been waiting for! Most of them are still milky, but the amber hints show we’re getting close. This week, I’ve started the flushing process to clear out any remaining nutrients and prepare for harvest. 💧 Everything’s on track, and I couldn’t be more excited for the final steps! 😁✨

August 22nd - most plants entering week 3 of Flower - Machupi’s Lady entering week 7 of Flower - huge rains overnite and this morning are setting a new schedule. There’s a couple plants that will need some defoliation after this big rain; Bud Rot is what I’m thinking to prevent and there are two plants well on their way ie ~ week 6-7 23rd - rain or shine, Machupi’s Lady gets a Haircut today. Defoliation is Needed 24th - after yesterdays defoliation of Machupi’s Lady, today the plants there were fed a mixture of Stress-reducing liquids; B-Vital - I defoliated PurpsBerry, Honduras x Panama and LSD nicely today, nothing really to remove from Panama Red. Other than just standing there in awe … lolo seriously. Each meter-long branch is filling with white hairs. - Panama Red is a long flowering strain and southern Ontario is not always weather-friendly in early - mid November! Let alone October, regardless its going to be a ridiculously fine and complex plant. Going to get it as far along as possible. Still going strong! The plant did not turn purple unfortunately, but has so many lovely buds, I had to make a video. Guest appearance: my left foot. Although many pistils are still white, trichomes are starting to get milky. The husband stopped with the nutrients and only uses GBN Clean Fruits for the last week(s).

First week of flower out the way and nice bit of growth over the past week all seem to be doing ok will leave them be and feed when needed then day 21 of flower will give them a good defoliation
