Hello colleagues 😍 The growth continues, and all three plants show good potential. One of the plants is ahead of the other two, but it obviously has a different phenotype - this is visible both by the shape of the leaf and by the color (small spoiler - I did not add mycorrhiza to this particular pot). By the end of the week, the growth slowed down significantly, almost stopped - it turned out ideal given the size of my box. A-Day 53 (into week 8) B&C-Day 49 (end of week 7) A - She is stacking well, and feeling greasy! The smell is coming on stronger everyday, frost is just starting to build up. There is a distinct transition as the leaves go through veg to early flower to late flower. Uniform all around, not very tall, but she is hardy and thiccc! B- Full flower now, so many tops! She has shown to be a slower flower developer than A, but the flowers she are developing are almost completely uniform all across the 🌱! I assume because there are so many they will be a little slower. I put her ties back on, and the middle shoots exploded with new stretch and growth, so she is still in that stretch/flower stage. C- what can I say, patience is a virtue. She is looking lush and vigorous. With this being a slightly longer to finish auto strain, she has had time to recover from a) being a runt, B) having slow growth, c) having almost no training and lighter nutrient feeds her whole existence. This is also my control for Topping, she was not, A and B were. This strain is clearly hardy and able to withstand multiple techniques, we’ll see what the end the result is compared to her sisters. All three plants received a full nutrient feed x2 this week. That was: 3 gallons dechlorinated water mixed with 12 ml Micro, 12 ml Bud, 20 ml Grow, and 6 ml Sensi Extra CalMag, PH’d to 6.2. And another very low feeding of 1/3 that mixture mixed into 3 gallons of water. Ive heard many growers who instead of just watering, they will do a much lower strength of nutrients included in their watering, and ultimately never not feed their plants nutrients until flush. Thoughts?

Hi! I'm actually growing some White Walker Kush from DNA Genetics but I didn't have that option when selecting the strain so I just chose Martian Kush. Sorry about that. It's a seed I found in the weed from my last grow and I wanted to see if I could get sth out of it. Still not sure if it's male or female so wish me luck on this one. Looking good so far :) PS: Right now, I still have the plant in my living room, under a 50W plant bulb with uv, so no strong lights used right now to prevent it from growing too fast. I'll move it into the box and under the 400W as soon as my actual grow is done. Potsize is 65L. I kinda lost track of the weeks since I didn't really wanted to grow this plant so I'll just assume it's around week 9... but I may be so wrong... 👻

La papaya sherbert è davvero quella uscita meglio con dei bei fiori compatti e pieni di resina! L unica cosa negativa è che devo aver sbagliato qualcosa, anche se nn so cosa, dato che i fiori sono rimasti piccoli, numerosi ma molto piccoli rispetto alle coltivazioni fatte in precedenza.. Xo davvero a livello terpenico queste due piante sono spettacolari! Il loro odore penetra tutta la mia abitazione, uscendo anche fuori sopratutto la mattina presto, nonostante il filtro a carboni, in tutto il mio giardino si sente odore di frutta "molto speziata" in inverno, quindi quando tutti gli altri odori sono assenti, apparte l odore della combustione della legna della stufa... L unuca cosa che mi protegge dai miei vicini che potrebbero sospettare che di fianco a loro succede qualcosa di strano! 😂Grazie a tutti voi che mi avete seguito fino ad ora, vi terrò aggiornati per l. Imminente raccolta, ora ho cambiato l acqua per l ultima volta e ho messo acqua normale con il finale clean di Terra Aquatica, che nel giro di 3 max 4 giorni dovrebbe pulire a dovere la ragazza da tutti i nutrienti in eccesso, speriamo esca Dell ottima erba, con una combustione ottimale e un fumo pulito! Weeeeeeeeeek 12🤠 So we're getting cold mornings, days are still sunny and worm She's a real beauty, I love how she looks❤️ I did some re-tying, so she has a realy flat and even canopy (you can't see that on the photos) and found what has been eating my leaves, cute but annoying🤠 I've also tied some string to the branch wires so it all grows level with the ground And you can see, on the last photo, the tiny trichomes starting to cover the leaves🤠 I've watered her with 20L of water, ph 7.2 because of my bad soil Also soon in the next week or two I'll start making my drying box, hopefully my plants won't die before harvest😁🤠 Looks like that's it for this week, it was a good week in terms of growing, so I'll see you next week!🤠

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Six weeks ago I flipped the light to 12/12 and I got to say it’s pretty fast growing. Trichomes looking good. Harvest get closer and closer. 4 of 5 plants are colouring pretty hard. Nice bud to leaf ratio and overall nice appearance. This week I started to lower the temps for terpene preservation. Smell is quite skunky and a little bit fruity. Starting running into problem with gnats during flowering but I've adjust the fans and temperature increased to calm the precipitation in the tent. The 3 seeds I germ'd & planted in 1pot that mistake cost me 2 well rooted ladies leaving me 2:6 (2Ws 4Ls) of successful STILL growing plants. All in all I'm getting good with this. Tweeking and creating self methods learning frm this community have turn'd me good looking & promising yields.

This was my first outdoor autoflower experience. Very happy with the results. Buds could have had a better taste in my opinion but that is just preference.

Week 6 of growth was another bumpy ride. Temperatures climbed up to 27–30 °C (Celsius), which is definitely on the hot side, and humidity sometimes dropped as low as 40–45%. That combo put some serious stress on the plant. To fix it, I made a simple but effective move: I turned off the exhaust fan. Right away, humidity went up to about 70%, and the plant clearly started looking more comfortable. She seems to be handling these new conditions much better. I did make a mistake this week, though. Wanting to push growth a little too fast, I cranked up the light intensity too quickly, jumping from 300 to nearly 600 PPFD. With humidity already so low, that sudden boost dried the plant out. She definitely felt it, but I caught it in time, adjusted back, and now she’s recovering well. A bit of lost time, but nothing dramatic. The real highlight of the week has to be the Athena nutrients. The pH stayed locked at 6.1 from start to finish, without moving at all. I really appreciate that kind of stability, and I’m excited to see how it will impact the plant’s health and growth over the next few weeks.

A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form
