The beginning of flowering is going well. They were left alone for three days with temperatures that were too low (17–21°C); I fixed that today. The leaves are a bit heavy and droopy, nothing serious in my opinion! 🌱🌱🌱🌱

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! 🎅 So, as for the smoke after 30 days of harvest day. Biscotti Mints have a high concentration of THC, definitely above 25%, you can feel it. Beginners should exercise caution. -The taste, I wouldn't exactly call it mint. It's similar to peppermint, but it doesn't taste like mint, it tastes like flowers. Bottom line, the taste is similar to pepper flowers. -The effect is only evening, not daytime. It will be good for an evening relaxation or in the company of friends. -The appearance is something beautiful. Everyone who saw him liked him. Dense, stone buds, green-violet color.

Start of week 5. Week 4 went well and like the OG Kush, the leaves dropped overnight from day 6 into 7 of week 4. She's a bit hungrier and will need a bit extra feed. Overall the plant is looking good, bud sites are filling in and she's starting to smell. She's already incredibly sticky!

Day 28 Today marks Day 28 since germination and, critically, we are now firmly in the early to mid-flowering phase. The vegetative "stretch" is likely complete or winding down, and the plant is transitioning its energy almost entirely to flower production. Esta es una de las semanas mas bonita del cultivo si llegas sin carencias ni excesos obviamente. Las plantas empiezan a definir el cogollo. La parte izquierda se a definido como un fenotipo xativo mas alto y con muchas ramas. En cambio el lado derecho a sacado un fenotipo mucho mas indico con plantas mas cortas y que seguro generaran un gran central. La temperatura se mantiene entre 25 y 26 grados. Ya hemos empezado a anadirle co2 a 1000 ppm.

Die Apple Strudel wird wohl paar wochen länger brauchen als gedacht.. ich hoffe die wird unter 12 wochen ausreifen.

Overall growing cycle of this strain was absolutely fenomenal, the training i did on her paid out really good coz it got me close to a hundred grams dry on a 60 cm automatic plant. She handled nutrients and lst very well, i never topped her, all that branching was caused by LST.

This plant was the smallest of the 3 I am growing, she is now second biggest and by next week will be the tallest. Only using dry amendments and she is loving life. Going to be a good one.

Very heavy indica. Gets you so freaking stoned its awesome haha. Myself and a few mates already all said this pheno is a definite keeper! huge heads, amazing taste, incredible smell and best of all knocks like a donkey just kicked you😆😂😃 Already got clones growing for the next run! will be growing this strain probably for the next year straight.

Day 42 – Vegetation This plant is looking well-trained and spreading out beautifully! The main stem has been opened up with some strong LST, allowing light to hit every single top. New growth is healthy and vibrant green, with multiple bud sites forming along the branches. The structure is flat and even, creating an ideal base for a wide, productive canopy.
