Week 4: We are officially one month into our grow! things have been going pretty smooth so far and that’s exciting!! Yesterday we picked up our Gaia Green 4-4-4, repotted one watermelon zkittles into 5gal, and we we watered both Sunday and yesterday (oops). With that and the topping done, we plan to give them the week to recover and then start LST and feeding. You’ll notice a large number of plants were moved outside… those were all auto seeds that we got for free from Seedsman and Perry’s Magic Beans (Northern Lights, Critical + 2.0, M+M, and High C) shout out to them!! In a week or so the clones will be moved out and we will have our final 4 in the tent.

This week I discovered some leaves on the bottom of my ladies turning yellow, so I decided to raise magnesium nutrients to 3ml/l,but I think it happens when the plant get closer to harvest. In the past week I saw the buds getting bigger and frostier so I think so far it's going well. From today, (day 49) I will introduce Big Bud and Carboload for one week, then one week of Overdrive and finally a week of flush. Hopefully great end-result and great yield too. Day 52: Some Tricomes are turning into a Brown color so maybe I could harvest the first plant next week

🗓️ WEEK 3 (veg) 💧 Her water uptake increased noticeably (about 1 LT/day), and the new leaves exhibit a perfect, healthy color. Due to this increased demand, I raised the EC to 1 to ensure she receives adequate nutrients. 🌱 The difference in growth between the start and end of this week is significant. The plant continues to stay quite short and compact, which I don't mind at all, especially considering the space limitations experienced during my last run. Naturally, this time, both the environmental conditions and the genetics are entirely different. Similar to last week, I concluded the week by removing a few of the lower leaves growing too close to the substrate. This week, I set the light power to 100 watts, keeping the same distance.

She had her issues and is not a big yielder. But she makes up for it in beauty and aroma! Week 6th started. I will add each plant 100 ml water 2x a day so 400ml altogether. I still always spray the topsoil also. The same fertilization method will be done, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2x 100ml acacia honey and bat guano water mix for each plant. I changed their places so Purple Punch is the left side now and the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe placed to the right. I always rotate them to get equal light. Last day of the 6th week. Gelato Cookie D'ohpe doubled its height. I decided to make the Purple Punch flower but it is not autoflower I separated it for 36 hours darkness and then I will give 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light the first 7 days. So every night I will put it in the tent with the other one and remove in the morning to be in darkness. I also need to reset the timers. End of this week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 65 cm, Purple Punch is 35cm.

Quebec blast is growing good. Still struggling with nitrogen toxicity. I changed solution, and lowered to a 200 ppm. Excellent growth still. I applied lst, and defoliation today. Ah, another week gone by. Not seeing the kind of growth I'd like to out of UKBS this week but hey, it's all free seeds to me. This week's timelapse is also out. I'll be compiling every 4 weeks into a singular video to post to YouTube; find this month's here: Through watching these timelapses I've found some things out, for example both Carl phenos respond really well to water. The plants will be transplanted sometime this week, perhaps tomorrow or the next day. Going to update throughout the week, as usual. -3/4/2021 - Repotted and topped all 4 ladies, used great white myco and remo's nature's candy to try and lessen the stress. - (As of now all nutrient concentrations are PER PLANT as I've switched to individually feeding and watering each plant.) -Carl 1 now in 5 gal fabric -Carl 2 now in 4 gal peat pot -UKBS 1 now in 3 gal fabric pot -UKBS 2 now in 4 gal plastic pot Hoping to see some explosive growth after the top recovery out of the 2 carls at the very least, and the UKBS would be a nice bonus to see booming. -3/8/2021 - Turns out the tops were more of a FIM, save for UKBS 1 which was topped properly.

Week 9, final feed and removed the dead and dying leaves. Buds are rock hard, frosty AF, sticky and has a very pungent aroma. The end is nearing and I'm excited to see the final results. Thanks for stopping by growfessors.

Week 7 of flower and a couple of notable developments following the last update. The WPM issue of course remains but, after only 2 treatments with the sodium bicarbonate the plants have really responded well. That aside, we are seeing some early and potentially progressive signs of nute burn. We’ve topped off the res. Twice with just plain water but history suggests that you gotta be real careful with this to avoid having the opposite problem as well. Closely monitoring for signs of other issues as were really close to the finish now and do not wanna fuck this up… er… again 😬. The colours are starting to show nicely on em now too which is making Id on the burn a little more difficult to discern. Can’t wait to get this one done and finished so we can move on to the next adventure. Based on bud development, we should have no issues with cross-pollination as the males in the other tent continue to mature. About 2 weeks there so should be safely at the finish with these girls by then.🤟. Alls well in paradise yall👍😎👍.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.
