I chopped her down after taking a closer look at the trichromes, she was quite amber on some buds and I did make sure to check the calyxes, not the sugar leaves. Didn't want to risk over opening her, and I'm already nervous about drying so. Better to get it over with no? Low and slow. 60%rh and 60°F. My cheap equipment is struggling to keep the tent there, but it's chugging along. Anything id buy won't get here in time to save the harvest, so if it gets overdried.. it gets overdried. Its a bummer but what'll you do. This was a very educational experience for me, and my second plant (check out my new diary) will hopefully preform much better! Kudos!

Amazing strain, very easy to grow and hope to do do more Royal gorilla auto in the future and see what else RQS have to offer. Absolutely solid buds and potent asf. Taste is 9/10. thc I would say 20%+. I also used terpinator in weeks 7 and 8 at a rate of 4ml/l which I didn't list in my diary. I'm sure this contributed to the density of the buds. I will use terpinator alongside advanced nutritions range for all future plants.

26.07. Girl Scout Cookies Day 92# GSC is progressing well, it has slowly started to spread. Yesterday was the end of its thirteenth week. It is currently raining, there will be some storms in the next 2-3 days and rain in the next 4-5, so it will cool down a lot and the next 10 days will be quite normal weather, although the nights will not be very great. Comment connaître approximativement le moment d'une récolte en vue d'un rinçage ? Ou tout simplement si la plante est rincé de tout excédant d'engrais quand procédé à la récolte ? La meilleure façon de juger de la maturité des plantes est de regarder les glandes de résine, également appelées trichomes. En utilisant un microscope idéalement avec un grossissement de 100x, vous pouvez facilement déterminer l'état des glandes en résine et éviter d'avoir à deviner. Les trichomes passent par 3 étapes différentes: 1. TRANSPARENT Les trichomes transparents ne contiennent que des cannabinoïdes précurseurs qui ne sont pas psychoactifs. La récolte à ce stade ne vous donnera pas un produit très puissant. 2. MILKY Les glandes en résine laiteuse contiennent du THC entièrement mûr. Pour obtenir des têtes aussi puissantes que possible, vous devez vous rapprocher le plus possible des trichomes 100% laiteux. Notez qu'il est impossible d'obtenir 100% de trichomes laiteux, car de nouvelles glandes de résine sont produites en continu. De même, même après la récolte, les trichomes continueront de se développer. 3. AMBRE Les glandes résineuses de couleur ambre indiquent que le THC a été converti en CBN, une forme dégradée de THC. Cela signifie que votre produit a perdu une grande partie de sa puissance. Le CBN n'est souhaitable dans aucune culture, car ses effets sont plus narcotiques qu'une véritable élévation. Personnellement j'aime bien les récoltes autour de 15 à 30% d'ambre mais c'est juste une préférence Que la force soit avec vous 💪

10/06 Added some mosquito bits to try and help with some fungus gnats. Hasn't been too much of a problem but it's always good to get ahead of the game.

week 5

January 31st - Day 120 from seed. I flushed twice with flawless finish over the past 8 days, and harvest day finally arrived for this freak show CBD Cheese Pheno. When I started this grow I had no idea a phenotype from an auto-flower strain could take 120 days from start to finish. That said I'm not complaining about the extra time because she turned out beautifully. Massive, dense, sticky, and aromatic flowers. Thanks for following along. Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. we just finished 2 weeks are are going into the 3 week. These ladies can EAT!! 1,000 ppm’s and no issues..looks like I have to up the ppm’s for bloom phase 4 out of the 5 are doing GREAT. The 5th one is having issues and I know it’s the media I am using. I had a different brand of soil for 1 of the banana MAC’s and it freaking SUCKS!! I am amending with Iron-Tone by Espoma to get the green back and it has some cal-mag also with sulpher ( hits all suspect deficiencies). The other 4 are in Mother Earth soil which I have had zero issues with. I will be sticking with Mother Earth for awhile. 11/6 Potassium deficiency in the banana MAC’s…kinda of a good sign. Let’s me know the plant is going into bloom phase and it’s time to change the ratios from 1:1:1 to 1:3:2. The 1:3:2 is flower girl 1 week and fish bone meal with Langbeinite the other week. I will alternate between the two for 4 weeks. Tuesday ( 11/8) will mark 3 weeks. I did defoliation and lollipoping today. This is the second one I have done ( I do the first one the week before flipping).

Day 65: All good they are stinky and getting ready soon. BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 will be harvested in 2 weeks so I started flushing them. Rest of them need more time at least 3 weeks or 4. Water intake 200 ml a day no more fertilization for Balckberry Kush and LSD-25. 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off humidity is low approx 35 percent.
