Having a battle with my soil ph which is at 7.3 (down from7.8) I have been watering with water in the 4.5- 5 ph range since the soil ph is so high. I am also having nitrogen issues . I stopped feeding a last week. I added a bit of top soil to the plant which might have added more nutrients making it worse. I am going to do s flush and see If things improve.

Unfortunately this will be the last week because the threat of the red spider has returned and I cannot afford to use other chemical remedies to eliminate it so I anticipate the harvest by a week even if looking at the trichomes I am not so far from full maturity, Too bad . !

Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

73 Day 10 Weeks to Harvest

Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached the end of the third week of flowering, and as you can see in the photos, it looks great. The plant has stopped growing, barely 1cm this week. 61cm tall is great considering the height of my grow box. Purple Lemonade has formed its final shape and will now direct all its energy into the development of flowers. The main cola dominates above the other branches and is completely covered in flowers that are already covered in trichomes. All three plants have started to smell more intensely, when I open the grow box I immediately feel the smell that overwhelms me. The leaves are a healthy green color, there are no signs of a lack of anything. It is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertiliser are doing their job great. Watering has become more frequent, the plants have become much thirstier. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser with each watering. All in all, I am very happy with how Purple Lemonade is progressing, I try to provide her with the best possible conditions and she returns the favor in her own way. Here is what the past week looked like. 29/08/2024 - Day 36. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer and lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With that amount of water, I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 01/09/2024 - Day 39. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 03/09/2024 - Day 41. Watering. Same procedure. 04/09/2024 - Day 42. End of the 6th week, or the third week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Purple Lemonade - Day 42. - 61 cm. I just cant get over how well things are going!!!! I've come so far in only 3 generations of plants! Today I did my FIRST DEFOLIATION EVER!!!!! It went so well!!! Shout out to Bill Ward for having some good views to brush up on! My first grow I didnt have enough leaves to defol and last grow I was to scared to lol. This time I made them my bitch!!!! It was EASY! NEVER BE AFRAID OF YOUR PLANTS!!!! I'm tinkering with the light so they aren't super happy atm. I turned on the exhaust and the Vaporizer. I also raised the light to 2ft and will try to consistently keep the light at that distance. I bumped up the nuets to 2ml. I'm a little lower than my schedule called for but i might bump it this week. Gonna watch the ladies! I tested the runoff and its 6.1, perfect. Starting to see how the plant is gonna look. __________________________________________________________________________________________ The plants came down with some spots. i did some reading and i came to the conclusion that they needed a bit more cal-mag. I also had noticed some of the newer growth had reddish stems too. I checked my discords and that's what they thought too!!! I was going to bump it anyway bc I've seen alot of diaries on here with ALOT more Cal-mag than me. Otherwise they look great! I got them out tonight for a light watering and noticed they had grown like 4or5 inches! Go Baby Go! __________________________________________________________________________________________ I fed them this evening and gave them a small haircut for some light penetration. I put a few spacers in that I printed and they seemed to help salvage my LST. I think the stakes dont hold up to the plant. Next Grow I will use wire. Still monitoring the leaves and while its slowly spreading I don't think I will see the effects of the extra calmag for a while. I have double downed on my videos, working on editing and hope to really develop my dairies! __________________________________________________________________ Things are going great as we wrap up the week. The plants are almost fighting for space in the tent, and i'm dialing in how much water the pots hold, I think this is the sweet spot size. Defoliated about 20 leaves, just a trim and tuck. I didn't do well at LST at all this round, i noticed all the main stems are ramrod straight, but using the spacers seems to be making the plants into pretty nice lil trees. I think the best part is right around the corner!!! Its about to get very pretty up in there!

15/08/24 (FD 22): Started to give my girls some more bio bloom to boost Phosphate & flower development, for now they seem to handle the extra nutes with no problem what so ever! Also the stretch seems to be done and they reached 1m in height. I wonder how tall they would have gotten if I wouldn't have topped them in week 3? There is one really weird mutation in the big girls which results in a flat stem with a bend and stunted top...I am really curious to see flower development on this one! I hope they will reach their maturity in 6 weeks so I can harvest before October when it will get humid & rainy! Stay tuned

July 11: Finally this week getting some heat with 25-30 deg C daytime highs. Plants are thriving with a lot of vertical growth and flowers starting to build. Resin is developing nicely. Purple Punch is going to be big and heavy by the looks of it.

Well, this girl has changed alot over the week, as you can see buds are fattening up, orange hairs and the trichomes are MILKY. The lower fans are starting to lighten up and change color. I did do 1 flush on the weekend of PH balanced water. Tomorrow I will give a feeding to this tent. I guess I will watch the trichomes and that will tell me when harvest time is... like this plant is SO WEIRD. But she's my chronie, gotta love her. I am starting to use tap water instead of RO, so we shall see how that goes... honest;y though i think for flushing i might just do the RO incase the shitty water in my town hurts her. Well that was fun. First time delving into the homegrown world and I’m officially hooked. Following the cocoforcannabis nutrient schedule and method, I ended up with 200 grams of dry bud and an extra 40 grams of trim/larf for edibles. I may have had them in the dry tent for a day too long, the hygrometers in the jars have settled around 54% RH, but they feel pretty damn sticky and moist to me. Been toking the larf and the high is really nice, definitely smoother than anything I’ve gotten from a dispensary. Can definitely taste the 🍇 and I’m excited to see what a little more cure will do. Already have my seeds ready for round 2, thanks for checking out the grow!
